I called a few days ago asking if I could get a fallout super sledge sent to the store for pickup from another store out of the area. The manager(Joseph) said he would take care of it and call me back. Unfortunately, because of the awkward size of the item the other store was unable to mail it over. So Joseph called around and found a couple stores in driving distance that I could get my super sledge from. I have to give this place some love because this place just does me right every single time I visit here! This GameStop location is located inside the West Covina mall right next to the food court! Thus far I have not had a problem with this GameStop location! Yes it might not be the biggest GameStop but this place does its job well. Customer service at this location is top notch and I have had good experiences with each of the staff that works here. They are knowledgable of games and are honest with their opinions! They don't market a game just for the sake of sales! They also are very friendly and take the time to talk to you and answer questions. To start off, the only reason I come here is because of a employee name "Chris" & his good customer services. I got called in saying my items arrived after being delayed(it's fine, things happen) but when I finally arrived, they only had half of it. After a back & forth on why my items are missing, all I heard was "We thought it was here" or "our boss told us to call you"(What does that even mean). It's either you have it or you don't. It's fine if this happen once but after this same situation happening twice. I give this Gamestop a one star. For funko pop collectors please don't come here. Don't bother going to any GameStop they have the worst customer service. I went to order a game for my PlayStation and I got the wrong code, and I went to go ask for their help. absolutely terrible experience here. my fiance and I had camping plans and we worked out leaving time to fit in picking up his pokemome cards he ordered weeks ago (that was suppose to be ready on the 11th) we went on the 11th at 11:30 am just to be told that they don't have the cards that maybe they pushed back the release date. Key point being that she didn't know anything about why they weren't there. She said they'd be in a week later, today the 18th. Again my fiance went as soon as they opened and the same thing, the lady said she didn't know where they were and didn't even know what he was talking about because she had a hard time finding the. transaction on the computer. She offered him a discount on something he purchased weeks ago. He walked out empty handed and very upset. this is absolutely ridiculous... how do your employees not know how to use the computer nor know anything about whats going on. read more

Although crowded and tiny, the staff will take care of your concerns in a timely manner.

Chris, Michael and Tania were more than helpful the past few times I've come to this location. Had a few issues with a game I had purchased (invalid read) and they went above and beyond to make sure that we were able to exchange it or be refunded with no issues whatsoever. DeAndre is the man. When he didn't have what I needed, he took the extra time to order it in for me. He had 4 people in line and got them out in 5 minutes. Worst experience ever. 2 customers 1 on register the other one watch the previews on the tv. If I wanted to spend 15 minutes in line I could have gone to the one in Santa Anita for the drive. This is the worst gamestop EVER! Went in to get my Resident evil 7 and they didnt have it on release date. Was told that i will be expecting a call to pick up when ready and will receive something extra for my troubles. I did not receive a call for a week. Went to the mall to pick up a couple stuff and stopped by and checked if they have it. They said they did, and i will not receive anything for my troubles. So i canceled it on the spot and i have talked with the store lead before and all he does is make excuses up. Never a straight answer or his fault. When i canceled it the store lead said "Oh i wish you would of told me earlier, i have a lot of people who want to pick this up."
