We sat outside on the patio, which was lovely, and the staff were friendly and attentive without hovering. I ordered the Jam Session sandwich and I'm still thinking about it. It had roasted turkey with cream cheese and this incredible cranberry bacon jam that completely made the sandwich. The flavors worked so well together and everything tasted fresh and made to order. The fries on the side were hot, crispy, and really good too. Honestly, this place felt like something that could have been dropped right into Palo Alto or Santa Clara, CA. The look and overall vibe reminded me of a Silicon Valley café, but the prices were much more reasonable than what you'd expect for that kind of setting. Definitely a great spot in Oroville and I would absolutely go back (especially for that sandwich).

The inside of the restaurant looked like a great spot to enjoy a meal. The drink I had was outstanding. Super fresh and just the right amount of alcohol. The salad and appetizer that we shared was super fresh and enjoyable. I would recommend this spot to anyone in the area.

So what I did the next game I told myself I'm definitely stopping there. Once inside it's super nice and very spacious. They have a beautiful restroom it's all pink with a huge wall art you could tell they payed attention to detail. Even the bathroom ceilings have wall art on the ceilings. Don't forget to look up next time . The inside consist of pretty much 3 areas. There is one big room. It looks like it was more like a private room. There's a little section on the way to the bathroom that has this beautiful tree with lights when I looked close enough there was a little monkey hanging on one of the tree branch . Then they have the other area once you first come in that it's near the bar overlooking the outside with the big windows . Last but not least you cannot forget about the massive patio with its own huge bar with a massive TV in the middle. It's just a very great space. The food was really delicious. Their menu is pretty massive. I was trying to decide what to pick.. I went with a Rancher burger cooked to my liking which was so perfect for me . I upgraded to the black truffle fries . For drinks my favorite was the lavender one so refreshing. They have a nice Happy Hour every single day pretty sweet right ? The service was excellent from the beginning to end . I could tell this is the locals hang out spot and I see why . The prices were very reasonable specially with the generous portions . Can't wait to go back when in the area .

Grilled salmon had good flavor with the green sauce but was not worth the price. Fish n chips were very disappointing. Were not crispy and lacked flavor. What made up for the food was the service.

As of late, I've become quite the fan of Applebee's, since they have or had, some super deals on…read moresome tasty food. The latest promotion was this Big Easy menu, sort of a take on Cajun Now Orleans themed food. My super fave dish, the Cajun sauced chicken with andouille sausage over penne pasta with a nice mix of green and red bell peppers and onion was my go to dish, priced at just $11.99. Now that I guess that promo had ended, the same dish is now $18.00! Gezees that's a big ass price hike. Not worth $18 in my book! Some of the other items on the former menu didn't go up, but were kinda pricey already, like the sizzling shrimp and chicken with mashed potatoes at around $18.50. It's still the same price. All I can say is the saving grace is the Really Big Meal Deal is still available, though, not listed on the table menu. You have to ask for it. I got that $9.99 deal with the big bacon cheeseburger and endless fries along with a refillable drink. That's a deal compared to the rest of the menu. My friend had a new dish called the Tex Mex bowl with shrimp and chicken. That was around $15.50 ... not super bargain, but I guess those are all gone these days. My friend actually like that dish a lot. My burger was fantastic as usual, lots of bacon and cheese and a decent sized patty. I even got some fries extra to go. Refilled my drink too. Applebee's is not quite the super bargain deal it once was, but at least they still have the 1/2 off happy hour appetizers from 3pm - 6pm everyday, not just weekdays!

Ginger at the Oroville Applebee's deserves her own fan club…read more In a world where good service feels rare, Ginger delivered the kind of experience that turns a casual stop into the highlight of your night. She was fast, friendly, hilarious, and somehow managed to make the whole bar feel like the place to be. She didn't just make drinks--she created a vibe. Every cocktail came out perfect, every recommendation hit, and she handled everything with the kind of confidence and warmth that you cannot fake. What stood out most was how effortless she made it all look. Busy bar? No problem. Multiple guests needing attention? She was on it. She made everyone feel seen, welcomed, and taken care of. That level of professionalism mixed with genuine personality is rare, and Ginger has it in spades. Honestly, Applebee's is lucky to have her. If you're in Oroville and want great drinks, great energy, and service that actually makes you want to come back, sit at Ginger's bar. She's not just a bartender--she's the reason people become regulars. 10/10. Ask for Ginger.

There are picnic tables outside for you to enjoy your sandwiches (super convenient if you're swinging by for a pit stop). Inside, there are rows of hot sauces, olives, beverages, and other snacks if you'd like to pick up some goodies. There's even a jelly belly dispensing machine and next to the deli counter is an ice cream counter. Going back to the sandwich, :), the "new orleans muffuletta" is olive forward, so if you like intense flavors, this is the sandwich for you. I like olives and i found the sandwich tasty.

Keep going and you'll find a sandwich counter on one side and a gift shop full of knickknacks on the other. Beyond that? An ice cream and dessert/pastry counter, plus shelf after shelf of edible gifts: uncooked pastas, sauces, jams, cheeses... the list goes on. I thought the bathrooms were all the way in the back... but then I discovered that there's an entire PIZZERIA AND PUB back there too! SAY WHAT?! Any way, I was really grateful for Granzella's because I found some excellent gifts there!
