Ordered the Chicken Melt. It's supposed to have lettuce, tomato, pickle, lemon aioli, grilled chicken breast, pepper jack cheese and bacon. All I got on mine was chicken, bacon and cheese. Server never checked on us, so I ate it anyway. My friend ordered a burger and gave me some lettuce and tomato from his food. Terrible service. Food took forever and was wrong. The giant TV was a plus for watching football. Did not have any beer but a good variety of drafts available. Had food from the Noodle bar. The Pad Thai was terrible extremely dry and not very appealing looking. The taste was ok. The cauliflower dish tasted like they were covered in ketchup. The pork potstickers were not bad. I want this place to be great because I follow an out-of-market football team and they have a great setup for watching multiple games. Alas, when I have visited nobody seems to know how to work the TVs, so it takes considerable time for them to get a game on. Beyond that, it seems management schedules far too few employees. This past Sunday, it took my wife and I 40 minutes to get two draft beers. A friend left after waiting nearly an hour for a drink. Another never received a sandwich he ordered. They have a pour your own beer tap wall that is cool, but on this NFL Sunday, 30-40% of the taps were nonfunctional. In short, it was almost comical how poorly managed things were. I really want to see them improve because the facility is nice, but it doesn't seem to be run by anyone who knows anything about sports bars. read more

Well I have been coming to this place now for over two years and it is just a bit slow service wise and the staff sometimes is not trained correctly so the battle is being fought to correct those issues. I love percylla she is a very hard working gal who I hope is working when I am on my way there to eat. The employees are only as good as they have been trained I see and that is an issue. So for starters, I'm a hosted player at Gold Country Casino and everything about this place from the hosts to the various games is amazing! I've been eager to try this place and I wish I kept walking.. I stepped up to the hostess's counter and waited to be seated, only to be told "you can seat yourself at the bar." which I thought odd because I didn't say anything about wanting to sit at the bar...but the hostess had no interest in seating us apparently...So I sit down at the bar, about 15 minutes goes by the bartender has her back turned the whole time. Finally she turns around and notices me there and asks me what I'd like to drink. I order my drink and then all the sudden a waitress walks over and raises her voice at the bartender saying how frustrated she's getting with her. About another 15 or so minutes later the bartender finally brought me a menu...I ordered my food and waited..and waited...and waited... almost an hour and a half went by without a update or explanation as to why my food isn't out yet! In the midst of all this the employees start talking about another employee and how awful she is at her job and does absolutely nothing all night. It was literally like listening to teenage girls gossip the whole entire time. They'd complain about one another and then they'd raise their voices at each other and then everything would be back to normal. Just odd... After roughly 1 hour and 45 minutes, my food came out. It was cold, but by this point I was so hungry I just wolfed it down without a complaint. I honestly don't know if I caught this place on an off night or what but I will never come back. I enjoy Gold Country Casino as a whole but their restaurants (besides the steakhouse!) are slacking big time. I seen multiple other patrons wait 10 or so minutes before they got their drink even if it was just a simple basic one. And to finish the night, I was told by the lovely bartender to go wait at the hostess's station and one will be right over to assist me in paying the tab. That took another 10-15 minutes! ‍ To wrap it all up, go at your own risk. Just be aware that it might turn into a high school drama scene!There's non-smoking slots upstairs which is a nice option but they're so loud and close to the restaurants that they damn near overpower the volume of the TV. I would give this place zero stars if I could. During covid this place was shut down (It was the Agave grill) - but now it is Game Tyme sports grill WHAT A JOKE! This review is after my 4th visit here. First of all, 75% of their food is terrible - let me explain. My first visit, I wanted a spicy hot burger (I don't recall the name of it), when it came, it wasn't spicy at all, but I ate half of it anyway - by the way it was overcooked (I ordered it medium rare - it came out way over well done, almost leather - yes, some places won't serve burgers medium rare - but this place asked how I wanted it cooked and that is what I expected). I complained to the waitress, 5 minutes later the chef came out, we spoke about hot sauces and spicy things (We did not discuss the burger) - he said that he has his own special hot sauce that he makes, he went back to the kitchen and brought a sample - it was not as hot as I would like and it had way too much vinegar. The 2nd visit about 2 months later, We ordered the Freestyle combo platter with onion rings and cole slaw. The meat was terrible! All of it was overcooked and tasteless. The onion rings were soggy, and the slaw was flavorless. My 3rd visit about 1 month after visit number 2 - I ordered the Fire smash burger - FINALLY it has some heat! The burger did not have any seasoning, it was just plain old meat thrown on a flat top. I tried to add some mustard and mayo, but that didn't help. The sides again were soggy. 4th visit (And that will be my last visit, I am not going here again) - I ordered the half order of ribs, onion rings and slaw. I had to wait 50 minutes for my meal to arrive - I had them make it to go so I could take it to my RV to eat. My wife ordered something too. We got to our RV and opened the bag - low and behold - there were no sides! (Mother EFR's). I called to complain but the girl didn't seem to care. I asked them to deliver my sides to my RV, she said no that I had to come back to the restaurant to get them. Now for the lousy ribs, they taste like crap! They use liquid smoke, not real smoke and the meat had no flavor, the BBQ sauce was just So-So. I ate 3 pieces then threw the rest in the trash. I AM furious now - this is my 4th time here and EVERY stinking time there is an issue. I asked to speak to the manager, she said she was the supervisor. I then asked if she could give the food to the shuttle driver and have him bring it to us, she said no. She is good at saying NO, and not good at fixing the situation. This place needs to hire a real chef, a real cook and people that know how to read! This place will never get my business again! MaggotDonalds makes better food than this place! Where to even begin. 3 out of 3 times they've forgotten the appetizers we've ordered. Numerous times we've waited over an hr for food. Once even 45 minutes just to even be asked if we wanted drinks. The food isn't terrible once you actually get it. Now for the employees. There are maybe two decent employees there. Mandy being one of the best. The rest should all be fired on the spot. Our last visit will be our last. The Manager Christine (I believe that was her name) was our server. She did well. Very accommodating and friendly. Unfortunately once again appetizer forgotten. She removed it from the bill. Upon finishing dinner she took out credit card and brought back the receipt. Off to the casino we went. Shortly after here comes security informing us they needed to escort us back to the restaurant due to an issue with our payment. We had a completed transaction receipt from the restaurant and pulled up our mobile banking app. Boom. There's the transaction aswell. They said they could not see that we paid our bill on there system. Even after showing them the paid receipt the manager herself gave us and the online banking statement showing the transaction their remedy was to charge us again for the meal. All the while security hovered around us as if we had just robbed the place. We will NEVER EVER return to this establishment and will inform every other gambler we know to stear clear of this place. This place deserves a negative star rating. Absolute garbage. read more

I really wish GCC would get their food act together. Game Tyme: wings overcooked and dry, burgers don't even come with mayo, shrimp po boy so salty it was inedible, steakin steak sandwich was tough - we've been thru the menu. Food is either over salted or bland. Acorn is ok...nothing special. Wasn't impressed with Saffire - just because it's expensive doesn't mean it's good. read more
