We opted for 1 of these, and on our way to "the other" café, we spotted Jenn's which was on the list. After we arrived at the first place, it was new and in a little strip mall. It lookrd full of people. We doubted that we would get a Cafe breakfast. Off to Jenn's we go. It's a very tiny hole in the wall. We walked in and saw about 5 tables downstairs and 2 upstairs, and 3 or 4 counter seats. It is tiny! Luckily there were two open tables downstairs. A minute later the place filled up. We had a great waitress! She was quick to get our drinks and then took our order. The food arrived in a good time, not too long of a wait, maybe 15-20 minutes. The breakfast of choice was a 2-egg omelet with avocado and cheese, and 1 slice of French toast served with butter and cinnamon, and a cup of warm syrup. Yum, yum, yum The breakfast was very good! It was a large bowl of yum! Hearty serving of well dressed kale. The Cesar dressing delicious! Slices of cucumber, avocado and chick peas and a beautiful thick slice of bread on top. I am so glad we stopped in for breakfast! They are always busy for a reason...good portions and friendly service! I had the scrambled eggs with bacon (crispy) and potatoes along with marbled rye toast. Wow - huge portion! Everything was tasty and i am so glad they didn't use a bunch of butter or oil in their food! My friend has scrambled eggs with hash browns ( crispy) and biscuits snd gravy. Another large portion! Both dishes hit the spot for an early breakfast before I had to head out to Grass Valley. We had alot of leftovers and you can't beat the reasonable prices with the portions you are getting!
