I could only eat half of their Pulled Pork Sandwich Feast! Delicious!!!
    Luci M.

Oh My Gosh... They've outdone themselves with their Pulled Pork Sandwich and Fries. The presentation was glorious with the Pepper "Relish"(?) spread over the meat in a perfectly toasted roll. The meat was the tender, smoky and Abundant!! The Pepper Relish was Superb. The fries were cooked to perfection with just a hint of salt. DELICIOUS! I could only eat HALF of this Feast! I'd travel a long way to get this sandwich again!!!

Super delicious & worth the price!! The pulled pork is super juicy & they serve the best ice ever! Will definitely be coming back! ThankYou BigMommas!

The superbowl! Most flavorful tender steak, sausage, bacon over crispy potatoes with eggs.

Amazing down home cooking with out of this world flavor. The food is great, but the hospitality will keep us coming back! Saturday mornings are breakfast, we can't wait to return for the BBQ.

There was no salt or pepper on the meat making it bland. The caramelized onions were flavorless. The only flavor was the marbled rye bread with thousand island dressing. Ice Burgie and I have a love/hate relationship. Let's talk about the love part first. If you like…read morepellet ice then this is the place for you! Many sodas options to choose from as well as syrups to add in (think raspberry Dr Pepper, vanilla orange soda). Their shakes and malts are great and affordable. My kids love going for shakes after dinner on hot nights. As for food - my kids usually stick to the chicken fingers and they pretty good. They aren't dry like other places and they have decent flavor. The BBQ sauce is good to dip into! You get big portions of fries for the cost, however as far as onion rings and fried mushrooms they get skimpy. I love them, but not exactly worth the cost. They need to up the quantity on those. The jalapeño poppers are always a go to. My husband and I pretty much stick with the bacon burger, mushroom burger, or the bulldog burger (on sourdough). I get my burgers dry, but with the fixings and everything always tastes fresh. For most menu items the cost seems reasonable, but for some the portions do not match the price. We do love the history and nostalgia behind this place and how much it is adored by locals. Ok...the hate. Kind of what I mentioned above - the price for some things just isn't worth it due to quantity. It's not a quality issue, it's more of the lack of "bang for your buck". Menu prices should be consistent and mimic the "low cost" if that's what they are going for. It can get busy and the wait can take awhile. Now, this means a few things. 1. It's a good assumption that if it's busy then it's good. 2. They make the food to order. We need to remember good things come to those who wait. However, if you do want your food in a timely manner and do not want to worry about crowds/lines I highly suggest calling in your order. We do this a lot in the summer even if we are just ordering milkshakes. The staff ....attitudes are inconsistent. Most of the employees are students and all female. I've always wondered why I have never seen any male employees there. Hmmmm ?? But yes, it's true, you can go and have the kindest personality taking your order or you can go and get someone taking your order that you would be nervous to eat after they have spoken to you. I do think that Ice Burgie needs to do better about making sure employees are good with people/customers. In other reviews on here it's mentioned quite frequently that this is a reoccurring issue. Ok lastly - the seating is sketchy. The old vintage concrete tables and benches in the front are cracked, loose and need fixing. In the back there are picnic tables that have seen better days. The wood needs to be replaced or fixed. Splinters anyone??? Possibly updating the outdoor tables with new ones would be a great idea. Other than that it's a great establishment and I would recommend everyone try it at least once. Remember...the shakes and the fries are the most bang for your buck!

After a disastrous Friday night out to try and enjoy their "Prime Rib Dinner", which failed in every respect from food to service...I made the mistake of getting food delivered from them on a Friday night. I think they need to fire that head chef. After a local woman raved about their crispy chicken salad on FB I made a plan to order one delivered tonight and paired it with the potato skins. Now I'm not sure which night it was, but I had ordered the appetite sampler and side salad (I think last week). That was one of the best side salads I've ever had and made a mental note to get a salad from there next time. The sampler was OK. I do remember the chicken strips being good and loved the fresh potato skins. Unfortunately, the pickles and other items were not so great soggy and over salted. Fast forward to tonight their six piece potato skin appetizer came with four huge potato skins. Unfortunately, they'd been double fried too crispy and slightly burnt. Tonight's order had very little cheese, probably sat in their window too long before the driver even picked it. So the flavor just wasn't there. What was most disappointing was the salad. Gone was the crunchy green lettuce and mixed spring greens. It was replaced with a moderate amount of wilted Romaine (?) lettuce topped with flavorless over fried small chunks of fried chicken. They should've been served as complete chicken strips sliced. Instead, I got hard flavorless chunks. The tomatoes, hard boiled egg (1), blue cheese crumbles were OK. The bacon was unremarkable. An $18 entrée salad should not fit into a medium sized to go container. They should've stacked all of the cold greens, tomatoes, eggs etc., in the one and put the warmer items into a small container to be combined at home. This is a pretty basic salad, but they managed to mess it up. I also asked for extra sour cream and ranch which was ignored. I think I will stick to breakfast items and only during the week early in the day when I can count on items being prepared fresh to order. I know you can do better Bigfoot with a skilled expediter and better quality control & consistency.

The host told us they didn't have any roses but came out with a little bouquet! For the dinner part, we were expecting a little more. The complimentary cornbread wasn't great in our opinions, but I'm sure others may like it. It's clearly homemade and comes with 3 different butters to put on top. We ordered the Salmon and Smashburger and they were both definitely over priced for what it tasted like. The salmon didn't have a lot of seasoning so it sort of tasted like something we'd give our cat. The sweet potato's on that dish were also not the best. The smashburger, in my opinion, would've tasted better if I got it from In N Out across the street. The entire burger just tasted like meat..no seasoning and there was maybe a drop of their aioli on the burger so all in all it just wasn't the best. I would've had a better experience at In N Out. We also ordered the Wagyu meatballs and never received them. We thought it was taking a minute to cook but all we got instead was the check..he didn't even ask us if we wanted dessert. We had wanted to check out their dessert menu and possibly get their strawberry shortcake but I guess that wasn't in the cards for us. We also ordered a cocktail and mocktail. My wife's mocktail (Kava Mule) was great! My cocktail (Horchata Mai Tai) was genuinely the strongest drink I've ever had. The flavor was nice if you could get past the amount of Bacardi they poured in there. Every drink I took felt like I was taking a shot. So with all that being said, unfortunately we won't be returning to Rancher's Daughter. Between the bland and expensive food, the forgotten about meatballs, the check rushed to our table, and the drinks..it's just the not the place for us.

We really had high hopes but were let down. We shared the complimentary corn bread, the arancini, and the hummus crudite. I had the turkey Thanksgiving dinner plate and my husband had the tri tip Thanksgiving plate. The starters were okay - cornbread was a very light texture and the butters that came with it weren't that good. The arancini was fine, just nothing too special but didn't come out very hot. The hummus didn't taste like much and came with a ton of bell peppers, Kalamata olives, artichoke hearts, and some pita. The turkey dinner was not good. The mashed potatoes and the turkey were okay. The root vegetable medley was not good and the stuffing was terrible, it was so mushy and weird. The gravy on the mashed potatoes already had a film over it like it had been sitting out for a while and was not hot at all. I also got an espresso martini that was not good. My husband got the horchata Mai tai - he liked it. My husband said the tri tip was okay but overall the plate was disappointing. They also mentioned on the phone that they would give us a complimentary dessert for my husband's birthday but never brought anything out.
