Came here during October fest. We opted for the regular menu and sat inside. Although the outside patio looked pretty nice. Matt k was our server and took real good care of us. My pasta that he recommended was really good. He made sure my child had everything she could want and even brought out boxes before we had to ask. Great vibe and good food.

What a great spot to stop after we completed the Phantom Falls hike. Service was great. The ambiance was very relaxing. Great outdoor patio. The inside of the restaurant looked like a great spot to enjoy a meal. The drink I had was outstanding. Super fresh and just the right amount of alcohol. The salad and appetizer that we shared was super fresh and enjoyable. I would recommend this spot to anyone in the area.

3.5 Stars. Good American fare in Oroville. The Sweet Potato Fries were tasty. The Tex Mex Super Bowl could've benefitted from more meat and some sauce to balance out the dryness. The Drunkin' Shrimp Tacos were nicely executed

Great atmosphere both in doors and out. The staff were kind and professional and the food was great. I had their house black bean burger and it was mighty tasty.

Visited August 13 2026. See my receipt…read more We always have a great time here! Very relaxing and dog friendly! We hit happy hour ( starts at 2pm..score!) And I had a chardonnay and my boyfriend had a margarita. Both were satisfying! We shared the burban burger with fries. The bourbon burger had nice crispy bacon on it and the fries are crunchy and delicious! We also ordered the coconut shrimp ( that was on the happy hour menu) and they were good too! Breanna waited on us and she was awesome! Outdoor covered patio is nice too ! Love the music...the vibe...and the customers are always so friendly too! We had leftovers! Bring your friends and enjoy! Bar seating as well. FULL BAR.

I get it with blue cheese dressing Hubby got the shrimp scampi again. And loved it. It was light and the shrimp was really good. Mom got the special Chicken salad sandwich with oyster salad which she enjoyed. I had the cotton candy fizz again. And the Montgomery peach smash. They are great ordered together. The fizz is better without the extra lemon and lime in it (which I asked for but won't do next time) I also really liked the white linen drink. Sat outside on the patio this time and enjoyed it

A True Diamond in the Rough!…read more My wife, Jennifer, and I had the pleasure of attending my best friend's wedding and celebrating with him and his beautiful wife in Chico on Saturday. On our drive home Sunday morning, we decided to make a stop in Oroville and try Big Foot Eats. What a fantastic decision! From the moment we walked through the front door, we were warmly greeted and shown to a comfortable booth. The restaurant is spacious, exceptionally clean, and has a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. Then we met Elena, our server--and what a gem she is! Elena was attentive, friendly, genuinely kind, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Since it was our first visit, we asked her about some of their most popular breakfast and lunch dishes. She patiently walked us through the options, and she certainly knew how to make a recommendation! She sold me on the Idaho Omelette--and I'm so glad she did. This delicious creation was packed with bacon, onions, and Cheddar Jack cheese, stuffed with crispy tater tots, drizzled with sour cream, and topped with green onions. Talk about comfort food taken to another level! Jennifer went with the Western Burger, featuring a perfectly cooked beef patty, bacon, American cheese, Bigfoot onions, and a delicious BBQ drizzle. "Scrumdidlieumptious!" is about all we could muster as our taste buds were doing backflips! Every bite of Jennifer's burger was outstanding. The ingredients were top-notch, everything was cooked to perfection, and the combination of flavors was fantastic. My Idaho Omelette was every bit as delicious and satisfying. But what made our experience even more special was Elena herself. She wasn't simply our server--she was a true ambassador for Big Foot Eats. Her warmth and genuine hospitality made us feel like we were visiting an old friend rather than simply stopping in for a meal. We also learned that Elena and her mother run the restaurant together, which made our experience feel even more personal. And, as is so often the case, my wife chose the right place! The food, the hospitality, the atmosphere, and the pride behind Big Foot Eats all came together to create a wonderful experience. I have a feeling the Oroville community already knows what a special place this is, but for those who don't: Big Foot Eats is truly a Diamond in the Rough! It was the perfect way to cap off an already beautiful wedding weekend. Sometimes things just seem to fall into place--and stopping at Big Foot Eats was one of those moments. Thank you again, Elena, for making our visit so enjoyable. We appreciate your kindness and wonderful service, and we will definitely be back! With appreciation, Rob & Jennifer

Our server came right away and took our drink orders, then our food orders shortly after. The menu has a ton of variety and options! I wish they served breakfast all day though, because those breakfast options looked delicious! I ended up ordering an iced banana latte (delicious) and the Loaded Mac and Cheese. The flavors of the meal were delicious! I loved the pulled pork, fried onions and bbq sauce toppings but the dish was a bit of a let down because the Mac and cheese was cold under the toppings. It took awhile for our food to come out so I didn't feel like returning it, but I was a little disappointed. The portion sizes on every meal that our table ordered was huge, I don't think anyone finished their meal so keep in mind you could share and still have plenty! I would not hesitate to visit Bigfoot Eats again, despite my cold noodles, because there's a lot on the menu I'd love to try!

Service was quick and we were brought water and our order of iced tea right away. The menu had some good and interesting selections, and my glance gravitated to the Louisiana Hot Chicken Sandwich. You get to select a side so I got Tader Tots. Ed decided to go with the Cuban Sandwich as an all time favorite for him. He will always order it when available. His option for a side were Sweet Potato Fries, for a slight upcharge. When the order arrived something wasn't quite right. Ed looked a bit perplexed as he's never seen a Cuban Sandwidh as delivered, but they do have variations. Hmmmm. My Tader Tots arrived but no sandwich. I was told mine was made wrong and they had to make it again. OK??? So, we sat and sat and waited and frankly the Tader Tots, an abundant amount, were quite good so I just munched on those while waiting for my sandwich. When it arrived the sandwich was huge! The fried chicken stuck out on all sides and difficult to eat. The bun did keep together so no complaints there as that often isn't the case with large sandwiches. It was satisfying enough, except the breading for the chicken was SO SALTY that it overpowered everything. I really was struck by the large amount of salt used. After Ed took some bites of his it became apparent it wasn't a Cuban Sandwich but rather the Cali Chicken Sandwich, confirmed on the bill. So a couple of rather not so good missteps, perhaps by the kitchen? Anyway we had a very filling lunch so just went with it. Besides remaking everything would take time we didn't have to give. Our server was very friendly and pleasant. The restaurant looks like a very nice place with a good menu but still compelled to remove two stars for service mixup on a sandwich and excessive salt on the other. Oh well.

The cheese looked good. They skimped on the lettuce. Cheese costed extra 99cents. But still incredibly cheap burger for the quality and size. Buns were ok buns, but the patty and cheese were amazing. Super big boss: my friend ordered this. It was huge! Probably the same as a big boss but just bigger. (We both thought of it like burrito and super burrito where its more ingredients, but super big boss is just larger in size and more of the same ingredients than big boss) Seasoned fries: friend's fries. curly fries (we both thought it was going to be the regular long fries, dunno why menu didnt just say curly fries), its good. No crunch, but we got our's a little bit late so it probably went soggy while sitting out. Friend says really good, and its really good with the ranch. Chocolate Root beer float: friend says its very good Extra Took a min, got my big boss burger. Then my friend who ordered super big boss, seasoned fries and root beer, had to wait over 30 min, then asked them and turned out his order was under the table because they called his name and didnt get it. But neither of us heard his name ever being called. When it takes too long, they put the order under the table so we didnt even know until we asked. Outside looked like a shack, like someone's random house, but when u enter, its a very welcoming restaurant Interior is awesome, like the 90s vibe local restaurant place. (Like a less commercialized more local feel version of In n out) Cheese costs extra 99cents but tomato pickles onion lettuce ketchup comes free Salt and pepper packets self serve Water free, in a paper cup, self serve through dispenser. Dine in comes in those red net baskets with paper cover. Take out burger comes in a white paper box, and fries comes in a paper bag. 2 sauces came with the fries. (One was ranch, other was orange probably in n out type sauce) Ketchup dispenser and little paper cups for the ketchup self serve Super close to oroville bus, extra points for that Customer amount also super neat, a good amount of customers to make the place looks busy and happy while still enough space to easily find a good seat and order and a good pace. This place has the quality of what a standard non fast food, restaurant burger looks like. Good price, good patty and ingredients, good wait time, for that I'll give it a 5/5

As of late, I've become quite the fan of Applebee's, since they have or had, some super deals on…read moresome tasty food. The latest promotion was this Big Easy menu, sort of a take on Cajun Now Orleans themed food. My super fave dish, the Cajun sauced chicken with andouille sausage over penne pasta with a nice mix of green and red bell peppers and onion was my go to dish, priced at just $11.99. Now that I guess that promo had ended, the same dish is now $18.00! Gezees that's a big ass price hike. Not worth $18 in my book! Some of the other items on the former menu didn't go up, but were kinda pricey already, like the sizzling shrimp and chicken with mashed potatoes at around $18.50. It's still the same price. All I can say is the saving grace is the Really Big Meal Deal is still available, though, not listed on the table menu. You have to ask for it. I got that $9.99 deal with the big bacon cheeseburger and endless fries along with a refillable drink. That's a deal compared to the rest of the menu. My friend had a new dish called the Tex Mex bowl with shrimp and chicken. That was around $15.50 ... not super bargain, but I guess those are all gone these days. My friend actually like that dish a lot. My burger was fantastic as usual, lots of bacon and cheese and a decent sized patty. I even got some fries extra to go. Refilled my drink too. Applebee's is not quite the super bargain deal it once was, but at least they still have the 1/2 off happy hour appetizers from 3pm - 6pm everyday, not just weekdays!

Ginger at the Oroville Applebee's deserves her own fan club…read more In a world where good service feels rare, Ginger delivered the kind of experience that turns a casual stop into the highlight of your night. She was fast, friendly, hilarious, and somehow managed to make the whole bar feel like the place to be. She didn't just make drinks--she created a vibe. Every cocktail came out perfect, every recommendation hit, and she handled everything with the kind of confidence and warmth that you cannot fake. What stood out most was how effortless she made it all look. Busy bar? No problem. Multiple guests needing attention? She was on it. She made everyone feel seen, welcomed, and taken care of. That level of professionalism mixed with genuine personality is rare, and Ginger has it in spades. Honestly, Applebee's is lucky to have her. If you're in Oroville and want great drinks, great energy, and service that actually makes you want to come back, sit at Ginger's bar. She's not just a bartender--she's the reason people become regulars. 10/10. Ask for Ginger.
