This is the best restaurant in town! I love this place. I had the BLT salad again and it was fabulous. It's because they use a very good quality bacon and blue cheese. I get it with blue cheese dressing Hubby got the shrimp scampi again. And loved it. It was light and the shrimp was really good. Mom got the special Chicken salad sandwich with oyster salad which she enjoyed. I had the cotton candy fizz again. And the Montgomery peach smash. They are great ordered together. The fizz is better without the extra lemon and lime in it (which I asked for but won't do next time) I also really liked the white linen drink. This is a nice restaurant/ bar. Its Friday at 11:30 a.m., we stopped in for lunch. This is our 2nd time visiting this place. The staff is very nice and friendly, and attentive. One order was a pulled pork sandwich with garlic fries, it was very good ($22), the other order was a patty melt with regular fries ($18), the patty melt was flavorless. There was no salt or pepper on the meat making it bland. The caramelized onions were flavorless. The only flavor was the marbled rye bread with thousand island dressing. Hot chocolate and iced tea were the drinks. They had to go across the street to get the hot chocolate at their coffee house. Overall, this is a good place to eat. It has a nice patio out back too. I recommend that you try this place. read more

Visited November 22nd..see my receipt. After shopping at various antique shops in Oroville my boyfriend and I decided to go into Provisions for a cocktail. This place is always lively with indoor and outside seating. It's a casual atmosphere with friendly employees today. My boyfriend got a top shelf whiskey and coke and I got a White Linen. The white linen was so refreshing! I have been here at few times ( see my previous reviews) and I love their burgers and crunchy fries. They have a full bar and plenty of tvs to watch sports. They also have happy hour. Its a cool place to go with friends to relax! Ps. Thanks Robert for great service! Will be back again and get dinner! read more

I had the shrimp pasta n it was bland n not favorable. Price was too high for the area ( about like the Bay Area. Service wasn't good as they had baseball trivia and the lil dark haired married waitress seemed more concerned flirting n showing pics to 2 guys at the bar to bolster her attractive ego rather than giving me attention when I needed it! This place has such a great ambiance, the hard wood floors are a work of art. Very cool vibe in here. I ordered the Turkey Pesto Panini and it was fantastic, full of flavor and fresh ingredients. The service here was mediocre at best. Our waitress seemed annoyed that we were there. Spent the majority of her time stocking the bar and doing other side work. The other waitress that wasn't helping us was much friendlier, but I had to engage by leaving our table twice to get things we needed. l used to love coming here - the atmosphere has always been warm and inviting, with a great vibe that made it a favorite spot. One of the highlights was the bar manager/server/greeter, an amazing and friendly lady who truly made the place special. Sadly, she's no longer there, and I was told by a staff member that the chef left with her. Unfortunately, the food has changed, and not for the better. Despite the server's reassurances, it was clear that the quality and flavor just aren't what they used to be. Adding to the disappointment, the bartender wasn't friendly, which affected the overall experience. That said, our server was very kind and attentive, and I appreciated their effort. It's tough to say this, but it'll probably be a while before I return. I genuinely hope things turn around, because this place used to feel like a second home. read more

The setting and the atmosphere is nice especially the patio which has a nice variety of succulents. The staff was polite and attentive. The food was mediocre. I've ordered a pesto turkey panini with a side Cesar salad. Why call it pesto if there's no pesto especially when one knows what a good pesto is. I've requested a side of it after noticing and notifying the server. She did bring out a side of mayo with a hint of pesto if even that. The salad was wilted and also bland. I would have given 2 stars but the staff was nice and the place is neat but have nothing good to say about the food. Given this my third try as in dinner , breakfast and now lunch but will not be coming back other than some drinks at the bar at most. The only gluten free options for lunch are salads. This place mostly has sandwiches for lunch. There are gluten free dinner options. Everyone tells me how good this place is. Unfortunately I have only been able to eat salads there (and I'm not a salad fan!) If you're looking for gluten free in downtown Oroville, try Tong Fong Low. The gal who runs the bar, cute little bob haircut, black hair..she is lovely! Amazing with the attentiveness and she stays on her toes. We always get the same thing, Mac N Cheese or steak frites. The meals are always served fresh and SO darn good. Our drinks never get to the bottom. I have received noteworthy service every single time. Today, I couldn't be more disappointed. The hostess/waitress working on Valentines Day that was a thicker, lighter brunette; we are so displeased with the lack of professionalism and downright disrespect to us that this review needed to be left. People always remember the bad service they have and the bad experiences. We love Provisions but if I get there and Valentine's B is there, I will turn around and walk right out. I feel sorry that I'm leaving this review for this place. It only takes one bad experience to give you the time of day to write any review. Please don't "clap back" at customers. The food is good, staff as well. A great place to go. I haven't tried the whole menu, but what I have tried has been great, especially the pizza bread and the turkey sandwich. Lunch for 2ppl: 2 Mijitos, 1 Sprite, 1 Turkey Panini, 1 BLT, 1 side salad, 1cheese fries appetizer =$99.00!! The restaurant adds a 3% 'restaurant fee' (!!??) and the Turkey panini sandwich was never made/brought out! Yet, it was still on the bill. I had to ask the 'waiter' to remove the sandwich charges and the total dropped to $80. Total 1hr 15minutes: no sandwich for me and $80 for a simple lunch. I'll definitely be spreading the word far and wide to never go here! read more

Love the atmosphere at this place. From the street you have no idea what lies inside. Hip bar and large dining space with an abundance of outdoor seating. The food is amazing. Went here twice during Thanksgiving week. Foods amazing,staff is friendly and helpful. Bathrooms are large,well stocked and clean. Parking lot across the street is free. My husband and I absolutely love this place. The service is top notch, all the staff are very friendly. We have tried several items on the menu and not one has disappointed us! Tonight to tried two main dishes and shared, we like to share so we can taste more dishes each time we go. The chicken dish was spectacular, the chicken was tender and juicy. The flavors were delicious. It came with chicken, potatoes, and Brussels sprouts. So yummy. The trash tacos are so good! We love the crusted cheese on the tortilla shell, and the crunchy chicken is just right! Now the beignet was so fluffy and too delicious. Would love to be able to review the food but couldn't even get a table cleaned to sit at. More tables vacant than occupied but covered in the prior patrons dirty plates and glasses. Was told a table would be cleaned for us but after awhile of watching the employees briskly walk around with no obvious purpose we left. The buser was sure to collect the tips off the table but didn't bother to actually bus it. I used to love this place. I loved the spicy garlic hamburger used to order it all the time but the last 3 times it hasn't been very good. I've tried a few other things on the menu and I feel like it's just for the price. They do have certain drinks there that I really like but not everyone makes them the same so I need to get the right bartender or else they taste nasty. read more
