I typically do not write reviews, but this time it was a must. My husband and I decided to try Waffle Shop for breakfast. We were a bit apprehensive since it's in a very small town and a little out of our way, but we decided to give it a try anyway. We are so glad we did! The customer service was excellent. Our waitress was kind, attentive, and very polite. The food was delicious, and let's not forget how CLEAN the restaurant was! From the moment we walked in, we instantly felt comfortable and welcomed.. from the big smile from the cook to the friendly "you can sit anywhere." I had a great experience placing a catering order through Instagram with this breakfast spot. Even without a set catering menu, they were super accommodating, offering helpful options and clear pricing. we just had breakfast at this place and wanted to give our feedback real quick. parking was easy, place was clean (except for those two pesky flies that kept dive bombing out plates). The corn beef hash was 4 out of 5 stars. Pretty tasty. I would order again. I ordered an $8.00 shake and it came in a 10oz glass cup. Where the rest of it that's left in the stainless steel container they made it in. The shake was 4 out of 5 stars as well. I had biscuit's and gravy with my hash and the biscuits were hard under the gravy so 3 out of 5 stars for that. Service was good. Very attentive. Came by multiple times to freshen my coffee. Nice ladies. It cost $50 out the door with a 20% tip and the $8 shake. read more

Went here on 4th of July. Was able to be sat quickly. Service was good and attentive. Food did come out a little slow but I think it's because the kitchen makes most foods and the girls make the waffles and pancakes. Once food came it was really good. Was somewhat pricey but we can blame that on inflation. Overall I enjoyed and would come back to try more food. read more

The restaurant was fine, Comfortable, good waiting staff. Playing music over the ceiling speakers, not too loud. Decent environmental experience. Coffee kept coming. Good. Only one rest room per sex and it had a lock. Some guy occupied it during my entire meal and after. Ordered chicken fried steak. Specifically asked for hashbrowns to be crispy on both sides. They were not. Steak was blatantly out of a frozen pack. The breading was flat and thin. The steak was over cooked. Eggs were scrambled and fine. Didn't eat the biscuits and gravy in restaurant. Took with me. All-in-all, a "fine" experience. Would have gladly sacrificed and gotten less food for better quality. Not any worse than going to do Dennys though, but I hate Dennys read more
