Had a 65 hour work week an on my day off Sunday I ordered breakfast for pick up at a cafe I once had respect for but the meal I got today for wife and kids. 2 bits must cook at Jack in the box or skim people who make to go orders while feeding mountain portions in store. They also own ranch house restaurant so I wonder if I order to go from there I'll get prison portions chicken and waffles is like chicken nuggets and eggos ,picture to prove. aside from sit down portions. Clean your act up these small towns don't have much good food left. Serve portions the same sit down or pick up. Hope this comment allows others to tell you the same. read more

Breakfast at this corner restaurant, 2 bits cafe. I wanted a light breakfast and decided on a Sr. meal that was hearty enough and tasted like it came from my grandma's kitchen. The service was friendly and I came across waitresses that I've known that have done this for years. This establishment pays tributes to veterans and officers adorned on their walls. They were busy, but the staff was very good at keeping up with the pace. Good eats for sure. read more

The restaurant itself is kind of small and it gets really busy but the food is very good and the prices are fair. I tried the brunch burger it's a cheese burger with bacon and 2 eggs any style topped with lettuce, tomatoes, pickle and onion. It's just $16.99 and comes with fries. It was my nickname as a child so I had to try it! In an area without many breakfast options it is a solid choice. As long as you aren't trying to eat healthy it's a fine option. Although they probably have healthier options than what we chose so take that into account. I had eggs potatoes toast. Pretty typical. Husband had the omelette and said it was okay. He would try something else next time. Son had bacon and eggs and claimed it was the best bacon he has ever had. Coffee was great. Service was very good although my husband's coffee cup was empty several times. But he is a camel with coffee so that's sometimes an issue. Aside from the alarming loud comment of a woman sitting next to me to her companion that "good Christians have mugshots because they are fighting for freedom" (ummm 'scuse me? I missed that in my Bible!) it was a fine Sunday morning breakfast and we will be back. read more

I strongly suggest you give you give this place a try! it's 3 minutes from junction of Hwy 20 and 99 in Yuba City. we've eaten here 3 times. All the high points they provide. polite and prompt staff. Frequent refills on water and coffee. very ample portions. pricing you'll find hard to beat now days. very strong support and recognition of the armed services. Very family friendly. I would equate to grandmas home cooking from 40 years ago. There are so many places to eat in Yuba City. This is now our go to spot when passing through. I use to love this place but today the food was worse than I could ever imagine. I got the mess and sausage was chewy along with the hash browns. What a great find! I've driven by this place many times and never been in before today. This is a great diner/cafe. When I walked in I got the same smell and vibes of diners I went to with my parents back in the day getting mountains of pancakes as a kid. Just for more old school vibes we sat at the counter. Waitresses were greeting locals by their first names when they walked in. We came for breakfast and they had all the breakfast goodness you can think of, including a light-appetite menu too. Prices were about average, maybe a little high. Two plates, 2 coffees plus tax and tip came to $39. $3.30 for one cup of diner coffee seems high but the vibes were so good in here I'll overlook it. Very clean, seems like fresh carpet. Decor is local photography. Table tops and a small counter to sit at too. Couldn't ask for better service. A+. We'll be back. read more

I went to a late breakfast today and the service was terrible. The waitress had an attitude because we wanted to sit outside , they made us wait for almost 45 mins for our food. My BLT wasn't toasted and it was cold, wen asked why they just said that the toaster would burn the bread if they were to toast it. I used to love 2 bits but today I can't say that. First time being here and I can say what a great place, very friendly and, polite. My wife got the biscuits and gravy, huge portions. I got the blueberry French toast, seemed like a small portion but still delicious. The cup size for the drinks though are a bit larger than I have seen before (not complaining at all) did not have to ask for a refill. Overall experience was a success. read more

Great food. It's a family restaurant environment. The service is fast and friendly. They even hang pictures of their patrons on the wall. So you know they love their guests! The restaurant is known for breakfast. I was told that their biscuits and gravy are both made from scratch. Next time we'll try their breakfast. We came for their lunch. The burger melt and Cobb salad are delicious. The melt had caramelized onions and secret sauce that made it full of flavor. Definitely order the onion rings! However, the garlic fries are great too. While visiting in Yuba City saw a sign for 2bits cafe on corner. Decided to go for breakfast. Was not disappointed. Great good,huge portions friendly people. Many people there seemed to be regulars! People only go back if its good! COFFEE IS BEST! On side not there are chickens running around property random but cool as this is in a mall like property. Only in town 2 days so we are going back! Also biscuits are homemade & super big & yummy! Per sign in wall we watched for attack waitress(never figured which one she was!) Also proud of their county, their Lord & Law enforment! Despite having lived in this area my whole life I have never tried this place. Finally got my chance and I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is very down home diner. They serve your coffee in random coffee mugs which I think was really cute. Big breakfast selection and I mean that quite literally. Lots of options and the portions are HUGE. Service was quick and friendly even on a busy Sunday. I was surprised how little of a wait there was. My husband has been there before and said occasionally they'll sit you with other diners at a long table if you're OK with it and don't want to wait. In my case we had a table to ourselves. I ordered their classic breakfast and it was delicious. My husband did too but he said it was a bit too salty. I didn't think so but I like salt. This has been our spot every Sunday. I've been hooked on the jalapeño coins with ranch dressing. I'm usually not a spicy kinda girl but these have definitely has my taste buds going! You get a basketful and it's only $5! I keep telling myself I'm going to order something different every time but I keep going after these guys. My boyfriend gets the burrito or Denver omelette. It's a giant portion of food. Everything is good. The salsa is to die for and don't forget about the home fries!!!!! Maybe next Sunday when we head back I'll get a breakfast item. Been here a few times and food has always been fine. Service is usually on the slower side but I can deal with that. What I can't deal with is the fact they served us moldy bread without an apology. We discovered it towards the end of our meal and it just kills the experience especially when the establishment is unapologetic. Not only were 2 of the 4 orders incorrect when he didn't receive items such as pancakes for one and sausage for another, we couldn't find the waitress let alone flag her. It's unfortunate. I ordered biscuits and gravy to go a couple weeks ago and the woman that took my order couldn't have been any sweeter. I just have to only give three stars because the biscuits and gravy were so bland. I wish it had been a sausage gravy with more flavor BUUUT it was a huge portion for only about 8 dollars I got two whole biscuits. I wish I could rate higher cuz that lady was such a sweetheart over the phone as well as in person. I'd definitely be willing to give it another shot the next time I'm up that way! read more

I got food to go and it was BOMB. I got a half order of French toast ...it was pretty big even tho it was just a half order. The French toast was sooooo gooood . It tasted like sweet country fair food !!!! I also got a side order of French fries ...love that they use Krinkle fries. When I got home with my to go order to everything was still HOT.
