Lumberjack's chicken fried steak omelet

April was fantastic with our dinning experience tonight.... She definitely deserves a Humongous raise!

Tri Tip sandwich with fries

Met a friend for dinner. I was greeted and seated by the Manager, April. The staff was very welcoming and gave me a few minutes before I ordered. I decided on the Tri Tip sandwich. The meat was cooked well and very tender. The dipping sauce was nicely seasoned and all the condiments such as lettuce, onion, tomato, were served on the side. I had a side of fries and they too were seasoned well. We opted for dessert and coffee afterwards. The banana pie was delicious and not too sweet at all. I didn't try the pecan but my friend said it was delicious also. A overall good experience.

This place doesn't mess around with their portions MY GOD The menu here is huge you'll find something for everyone without a doubt Star of the show for me personally was the French toast cinnamon roll, the potato skins, and the French fries. Mind you everything we ate here was great! Mimosas are poured strong and the Shirley temples come PACKED with cherries Biscuits and gravy was enough to give five people a serving each This place feels like a warm hug from a couple of country livin grandparents

Sourdough burger was good. Added lettuce (not sure if charged). Wish it came with a pickle slice. Will ask next time.

It's been a while since I last visited, but I actually really like this place! I don't mind going back over and over again, and it might even be my second go-to spot if I can't get into Huckleberry, haha. The server was super nice, and the food was good. The restaurant is decently clean, and I noticed they've added more items to the menu, which is nice--though the menu is quite large, so it can feel a bit overwhelming. I do wish they had a really good iced tea like Huckleberry, but overall, I really enjoyed the food and spending time there with my husband..

Visited March 10th..see my receipt. This is the first time visiting Lumberjacks in Yuba City. My friend and I got there at 1103am so missed their specials by 3 minutes! Their specials are from 7am to 11am weekdays. They have an extensive menu with plenty of parking. I got a huge omelet with biscuits and gravy. It was decent and the gravy wasn't salty but WAY too big for my 130 pound frame! (Leftovers! ). My friend got the senior breakfast with bacon and hash browns and toast. Bacon was curled up and not crispy as ordered. Just average. Because I take pictures of my receipts I noticed she overcharged for the senior breakfast and she said it was egg surcharge. None of the menu items had been changed on the menu so BEWARE! The place is cutely decorated like other Lumberjack restaurants. Waitress was nice. Food came out quickly. Other complaint was the ladies bathroom and stalls were VERY dirty and not a good reflection of the restaurant. They also have beer and wine and some outdoor seating. This location is probably my least fav of this chain.

I had steak and the kiddies had French roast. We experienced friendly service and prompt service.

Tried lumberjacks in Yuba City. Has the feel of a chain restaurant like black bear. The portion size are gigantic. Food was OK but I was hoping for better. It was a little on the bland side. No seasoning on the potatoes. I did get a sampler plate which allowed me to try the pancakes, French toast, and a cinnamon roll that was also cooked like French toast. All three were amazing. Pink lemonade was pretty good . The spice was pretty busy, they had a lot of staff walking around, but not paying attention to any of the customers or the tables really. My husband would have liked more coffee, but the lady walked by four times without acknowledging us.

Came in for breakfast. We were seated right away. Everyone was very pleasant and the service was very good. Lloyd our server was awesome. The portions were big with the food came out quick and hot. The prices were very decent. Good place to come for a nice casual breakfast with good food.

Weird place can't get a person to get your drinks let alone a server when the place is lightly booked. When there is a line to be seated the service is spot on. Servers fast n friendly when they are busy, what gives? Waited 8 minutes to get water.Hostess never told our waitress we were seated. Only 2 other tables in our seating area. Seriously only got drinks after I called a relative and asked how long is polite to wait for no response until leaving and the hostess overheard. We received our drinks and the waitress finally looked our way and was surprised to see us. Seriously. Just disappointed. My guest said his pot roast was good as usual. I didn't order anything for I was too embarrassed that I had recommended this place for Father's Day dinner.

It's been 4 years since I've visited and the service is still top notch 10 out of 10. I believe I have the same exact server as four years ago....Diana... by the was is absolutely amazing. I love this place and the customer service. If I didn't live so far away. I think I would come here every few days. Portions are huge, reasonably priced or for the portion I would say underpriced and you he food is good.

The food is your basic American diner restaurant. The food was descent but nothing was like woah. I enjoyed my chicken fried steak but my boyfriend was not impressed with their breakfast burrito.

I ordered the Chicken Shawarma and as soon as I got in the car with the plate I was eager to get home and eat, it smelled so good! I would've eaten there if it weren't for my toddler who is ready for nap-time but once I got home and took one bite it was even better than I could've dreamed! The flavors from the hummus and the yogurt cucumber salad complement the chicken shawarma. Will definitely be coming back very soon to try more menu items. Not because the service was slow, but my time management is admittedly poor. Came back little over an hour later to a fresh meal waiting for me on the counter, neatly packaged, and still hot. I had the pastrami burger and was honestly one of the best burgers I've had in recent memory. Great flavor and just the right amount of juiciness. Also, I usually never get tomatoes on burgers cause they get it soggy, but forgot to ask for them off here and I'm glad I didn't. They were cut thinly enough that I could enjoy them. Dude working here is a super lovable guy too, he pays a lot of attention to his customers and makes them his #1 priority. You can tell he is very passionate about his work here. If you're ever in the area or passing through, you can't miss this spot!

I felt a bit bad even asking to change it, so I went up to the counter and politely asked the girl at the register if we could add an extra shot to balance it out. The cashier was genuinely nice and sweet; she immediately turned to Trinity and asked if she could do that for us. Instead of a standard professional response, Trinity treated me with an immense amount of rudeness and a terrible attitude. Her hostile tone was completely unprovoked. My sister watched the entire interaction play out and was incredibly upset on my behalf because of how disrespectful Trinity was to me, especially since I was being super polite to begin with.My sister felt compelled to speak with Trinity directly about her behavior right then and there. It is highly disappointing to see such a blatant lack of professionalism in a customer service role. While anyone can have an off day, taking it out on a polite customer and ignoring her own coworker's polite request is unacceptable. It is a cute place with potential, but customer service is everything. I am rating them low because of this experience, and I hope management addresses Trinity's attitude moving forward.

Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Maryville (at 1st & D St's), and next to the Chinese "Bok Kai Temple", this longstanding and well known restaurant/saloon/hotel has been in operation dating way back to 1858 when the peak of the gold rush era was thriving in California. Over the years, the upstairs hotel (a.k.a. "The Grand Hotel") was once a brothel amongst various operations before becoming a permanent hotel for guests to stay. Meanwhile the downstairs has served as a full-size bar complete with a ton of American comfort food to choose from on their extensive menu. I came here during the afternoon of Saturday 7/19/2025 at around 4:30pm. Since this was during the 25th annual "Marysville Peach Festival", there was a ton of customers and locals visiting during my visit. Surprisingly, parking was easy to find as I parked directly outside of the building. Once inside, you are immediately drawn to the nostalgic wooden interior. From the looks of it, not much has changed here over the years complete with vintage sepia chandeliers, huge brick ovens, taxidermy displays of various animals, and everything else that represented the wild wild west. Their menu is extensive and has just about all of the stick-to-your-ribs food you can ask for. This includes a ton of appetizers (poppers, fries, mozzarella sticks, etc.) as well as a nice variety of main course entrées that include sandwiches, burgers, salads, steaks, pastas, and much more. And since you're in a saloon, they offer all of the top whiskies, bourbons and brandies as well as a ton of beer on tap. Keep in mind that they are closed on Monday & Tuesday but open for business Wed/Thu and Sunday from 11am-8pm and Fri/Sat from 11am-9pm. After narrowing down what I wanted, I finally settled with their "French Dip" sandwich. This was a traditional and classic sandwich complete with their smoked roast beef w/Swiss cheese & mayonnaise on a hoagie roll with a side of Au Jus sauce. I opted with home fries as my side and a Coke to drink. I also ordered a starter appetizer which was their crispy "Chicken Tenders". Our server was very attentive as my +1 and I sat on a quieter side of the restaurant (near the windows). Total time took around 25 minutes to get our food; not a big deal considering this place was absolutely packed with customers. Overall, my French Dip was delicious and filling. They were generous with the thin sliced roast beef while there was the perfect amount of cheese. The au jus had the right amount of consistency as each bite hit the spot. However, the chicken tenders were just so-so as there was too much breading on the exterior. And considering these were $16.95 for 4 tenders, it was quite a bit on the pricier side. I don't want to knock this place too much but I did see quite a bit of flies by our table. But I do realize that some of these things are beyond their control with as busy as it was. All in all, the "Silver Dollar Saloon" is a good place for small and large gatherings. The service was excellent while we got filled up during our visit. My rating, an above average four stars.
