The different types of beer you can brew. The half and full has to do with the amount brewed.

We went here looking for the beer we had at one of the local restaurants. As the name says "where u brew" I didn't know what to expect. This isn't a bar setting, they do have some tables and about six drinks on tap. Their main business looks to be helping you brew your own beer or wine. They have a list of different types beer you can brew. You do everything there, leave it to ferment then come back to bottle it. The wine is done in a similar way. You buy a kit that has all you need to make the type of wine you want to make. They have different levels of kits like a good, better and best. They said while the product ferments they keep an eye on it and help it out if needed. You can buy bottles there or bring your own. We did find the beer we were looking for and more including their in house root beer. The server was friendly and told us about the brewing part of the company. Maybe next time.

we've been brewing at gallaghers for 4 + years and have had such a wonderful experience everytime we've gone. they are always so helpful and fun to deal with. they have so many recipes to choose from, we have enjoyed everyone we've made. we've got a batch brewing as i write this . the attached photos are family brewing with dad and grandpa. the brewmaster-chris is a fun and helpful guy to be around!!!

    Gonna bottle some BEER!

I received a gift of beer last Christmas from a fraternity brother and it was one of the best gifts I ever! Home brewing can be a pain at times (but most pleasant when everything is done!) due to storage space and time constraints, but Gallagher's makes it really easy from brewing to bottling (I haven't brewed beer since college). The hardest part of the whole process is deciding what kind of beer you want to brew! They have a large 3-ring binder full of recipes on site, but they do have a list of their top 50 recipes online! Each recipe will have a corresponding description to its local/national style brand. I went with one of my favorites - Mac & Jack African Amber (Gallagher's name is Galley Mac). I said earlier that they make things easy for the user here as long as you grasp two important concepts - basic reading comprehension (since you are reading this there should be no problem) and a keeping time. Once you decide on what beer you want to brew, you will be given a recipe card that lists all the ingredients that you will have to gather and set up at your brewing station and it tells you when to add those ingredients to the kettle. If you have any need of assistance, there are plenty of friendly brew masters there to help you out! You will need to budget 1.5 - 2 hours to brew your beer/wort. Afterwards, a brew master will help out with filling a keg for chilling. After that it is a two week wait and you get to bottle your beer! That's it! A full batch of beer is 13 gallons which is roughly 75 22oz bottles of beer! I need to get back and brew more beer! To the best X-mas gift ever! I think I drank too much! | / \O/ O | / | \ / \ / \ ________________________________________ HA-HA! **BURP** | O |- / \ \__|O ________________________________________ You will find that you will be sampling beers before, during and after your brew session. Everything about this experience has been AWESOME! The guys helping out are incredibly friendly, the process to brewing your beer is made incredibly easy, everyone is very helpful, and it's been a great time. Homebrewing enthusiast? Craft beer lover? Just want to go hang and an awesome place? Then get over here! I'm already looking forward to my next brewing session here.

COME HERE! Seriously, this place is so much fun. I've been in Washington for over 3 years now and this has been one of my favorite places to venture. Marci and Tom are the owners of this place and so chill and fun to hang out with. The atmosphere is just what you would expect a u-Brew to be. Laid back and awesome. One of the first things I loved was when you go to the bar they literally just have a mini white board on the taps to fill in the name and then when you open up a tab your name Just goes on the larger white board and you get a tally started. Dog friendly, so yes, that's awesome. And it's right up the road from Edmonds dog beach. This is will now be a regular spot for me, I can't believe I've been going to the dog beach all this time meanwhile passing this spot up! Never again lol. I loved this spot because it made me feel like I was visiting family with how welcoming and friendly the owners and staff are. This would be a great spot for bachelor or bachelorette groups to brew some beer to bring to the wedding! Sports groups (hello adult flag football teams), coworkers, couples, you name it. Everyone could use some fresh brew in their life. Walk-on items: -They don't serve food so stop into the bar across the street and order to-go so you can bring it in. Or if you wanna be real lazy, have some delivered. -plenty of parking Can't wait to go back to bottle my beer in two weeks!

If only this wasn't an hours drive distance, because I could easily call this place my home away from home... This little gem hidden in the factory district of downtown Edmonds is a beer lover's place to be. Experienced, amateur, or new to the passion, Gallaghers is a great place to explore the science & art of craft beer making. The team there is friendly and more than willing to show you the ropes if it is your first time, hand you a beer, and let you become immersed in their culture. I did a full batch of the winter warmer for my first go and it turned out great. Friends and family raved about it just as i promoted my experience in putting it together. I will hopefully be returning to Gallaghers some time soon, thirsty, and eager to continue playing with my passion ..

This place is pretty interesting. I like the fact you can brew your own beer but it looks like you can only brew in large portions.

The price is very reasonable for both a half (66 12-oz bottles) and a full batch (twice that).

In long It's even cooler when the weather's nice enough to sit outside, because they have a deck facing the water. On a cold or wet day, though, there are a couple dozen tables inside, and one of them has a firepit in it. You walk up a ramp from a busy street, and inside you see old dock pilings and ship rope cordoning off the upper bar from the main dining area. Kids are welcome, at least part of the day. We rolled in for a late lunch, and found a HH menu on the table. Perfect timing! 25% off drinks and apps. Our server was friendly, knew the menu cold, and had everything written down right away. They clearly know what they're doing here. We had waters before we knew it, and cocktails not long after. I got the southwest burger, which is messy af, but worth it. Good flavor all the way through, cooked perfectly medium. She had the seafood basket with tots, which was all also exactly at temp. The chunk of whitefish was steaming hot, really juicy. Scallops were legit. Big props to them for their tartar sauce--awesome dill pickle flavor. It gets loud in here, and rumor has it the owner is often in the corner, keeping an eye on everything. I could see it being pretty insane for a big game. They have lots of Kraken signage up, and you know it's a Hawks bar too. It kinda seems like everybody in Edmonds who's fun to be around has probably hung out in here, maybe multiple times. It definitely felt like the whole neighborhood was welcome and well taken care of. We had 2 entrees and 4 cocktails for $80. These days that's getting to be a fantastic value, especially at a place where they do everything right. I'd happily come back.
