a glass of beer and a glass of beer

My husband and I always like to check out bottle shops in the area. We were hanging out in Edmonds and stumbled upon this place. We ordered two beers and enjoyed it on their large outdoor patio. I like that we were able to enjoy our beer with our dog and there were other friendly dogs here too. Overall, a good find in the Edmonds area.

Buyer beware... do not come here... horrible place dogs barking, kids running around as if zoo animals... dont take my seat on their amazing patio... lol This is literally the best place to grab a brew. My wife and i work long belated hours and i honestly have a hard time relaxing after work. This place is a dime. A place to come after work and relax and realize life is ok. Its a meeting point for friends and family, and a place where you can just let stress leave at the door. We were worried when you moved and thought the balcony would be in jeopardy but damn is it not better now. Thank you guys, Ps. The beginning was a poke at the other yelpers taking about kids and dogs lol.

Good taps and art, but sadly rude, and awkward staff. Like the other review said, it's a neat place but the staff make it undesirable.

Loved visiting Edway Taphouse!…read more Off a semi busy street (drive just past PCC). Has a small parking lot and I parked across the street along the road in front of the cemetery. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere, lots of people of all ages (people with babies and little toddlers, too!) and some tv. I came for my friend's birthday! People directed me where to go and helped me get a drink. The bathrooms were clean and the place was well lit and people were around if you needed anything. My friend brought decorations and pizza and noodles and fun stuff for her party, and we had a great time. I was just sorry I had to leave early but happy I made it up from Tacoma.

If you're looking for a tap house that feels like a secret clubhouse for grown-ups, with great slushies, Edway Tap House is your spot. Nestled under a house in Edmonds, it's got that "did I just stumble into something awesome?" I kept thinking wow I would love to own this place and live above it. The slushie drinks here are dangerously good, icy, flavorful, and perfect for summer sipping. The rotating tap list features standout local beers and ciders from places like Urban Family Brewing and Obec Brewing, so there's always something new to try. The bartender let us try a few cause 2 girls that aren't huge beer drinkers are hard to please but we found 2 keepers! They have theme Nights to keep it entertaining. Trivia nights bring out the brainy banter, and the cribbage club adds a quirky, nostalgic twist. There's even a walking club if you want to earn your pint with a few steps first. Wish I lived in Edmonds cause I'd be down for a walking club. Outdoor Games & Family-Friendly Vibes Edway isn't just for the 21+ crowd, it's proudly kid-friendly, with outdoor games like cornhole that keep everyone entertained and ladder golf. The spacious patio makes it easy to relax while the little ones play, and the welcoming atmosphere means families feel right at home. Also dogs allowed so that's my main reason for going too! Plenty of space means you won't be elbowing for a view, and the laid-back atmosphere makes it easy to settle in for a full match. While Edway doesn't serve food directly just some odd and ends like a pretzel I saw on the menu, they host a rotating cast of food trucks. Great find!

I would say that many parts lived up to the high praises while others did not unfortunately :( The service was amazing! The staff were very attentive and kind. We were seated quickly and were not left waiting long for any part of our dinning experience which was very nice. We both got 2 portions of the 11 piece omakase ($53) and the great pacific northwest roll ($20) to share. The omakase offered good variety and came with an explanation of each cut of fish which was nice. We both enjoyed everything just fine but were left a little disappointed with the quality. Because of all the great reviews and the price point, I think we just were expecting to enjoy our meal much more than we did. The fish quality was not poor by any means but just not that good. The roll also lacked a bit of flavor as well :( I don't know if we just went on an off night or not, and I am hopeful that might be true. The ambiance was nice and balanced, the tables were spaced apart well, making the hum of the restaurant nice but not too much. I don't think we would be back due to the overall quality of our meal but it think it is worth a stop if you are craving sushi in the area.
