I am giving this little place five stars for two reasons: one is the amazing, welcoming attitude of the place, and the other is because I only drank soda and nobody cared. Mesh, the bartender was so amazing, friendly and approachable. I came into this little place with a feeling of history. You see, my mom worked here for years in the 70's, 80's and early 90's. I loved that the bar is modernized just enough to make it comfy, but with enough of the old feel to make it feel as though my mom was still there. As my mom passed away several years ago, I walked in with tear-filled eyes and Meesh totally understood and even allowed me to play my mom's favorite song on the juke box. So, with Lyin Eyes on the awesome and modern jukebox and the neon booze signs on the walls, I could actually feel my mom in the room, telling her infamous dirty jokes. I shared this with everyone, and we all raised a glass in her honor. Tequila shots for my companions and a water shot for me! I love that they serve hard alcohol here, makes for a nice variety in drinks and patrons. Now, on this particular night, there were only 3 others in the bar (maybe 4), but it was a great atmosphere. The entire place is super clean with updated bathrooms with the doors I'm sure were there when the place was built. Now, I don't drink and have never really been a regular at a bar, but the welcoming environment and friendly Meesh, I am certain I'll be back again & again. If you are in Kenmore, stop in for a nice beverage, good conversation and homey atmosphere! read more

Fast and friendly service, stiff drinks at good prices, but I cannot give anything higher than 1 star to any business that openly allows and encourages smoking on their outdoor patio. Especially when the back patio door is left open and the entire establishment is left to reek of smoke. read more

I was just at the North Shore Pub in Kennmore, WA at These people were outside smoking with the bartender with in 3 feet of the open door. I was starting to smell smoke in the bar and then coughed. When the bartender returned I asked politely for here to ask them to smoke away from the door. I was then told she couldn't do anything about it and they just do what they want. I said are you not the one in charge of this? I was told I could do it, so asked for my bill and left. If there is anything that can be done on educating the staff there about this please let them know. I find this unacceptable. When a patron asked them to comply with a request they should. I can't believe they would ignore the RCW and then give me some bs reason why not to stop it. I will not be going back to this place. read more

Great neighborhood bar. Very reasonable prices, with daily specials. Have a nice patio to enjoy your drink&cigarette,also covered area to enjoy sitting out of sun or rain. Music from jukebox also on outside speakers. Women's bathroom is ready for ladies,hair spray, deodorant, lotion,tampons, etc. a personal touch not seen anymore. Tiny bar, with casual staff who dress no different than the patrons (and are often not even distinguishable from them in any way), and everyone knows everyone. Small inside, small parking lot, at a busy intersection you'll find this little place filled with regulars, coming to play darts and drink. And probably drink more. I met up with Jen, Janene-Barry and Tony not long ago for a chill drink. Our first try resulted in a Tavern filled with octogenarians, so we ended up down the street here instead. My first HH post new-job. (To which Jen presented me with a bottle of champagne from her purse--she really does have *everything* in there) gave a lovely evening of trading stories over drinks and catching up on all that was new in the world of each of us. (I STILL just giggle every time Bunneh uses the word "husband", it's just too cute) Inexpensive drinks in a chill atmosphere, that though it could use a little extra elbow grease and some updating, is just about a non-pretentious place as you can get. Not recommended as a destination point for a large group or to carry about an evening, but if you live in/around the area this is a viable option for chilling out and having drinks. read more

Average at best. The drinks are good, the beer was stale and not the freshest. They were out of pizzas the two times I've been there. If you need a restroom, stop at the rest area. It's a lot cleaner. Bartender was more concerned about her tips than anything else, kinda rude and kinda angry. Tried going to this bar again. Recently heard the owner 86's former bartenders just so they can't collect their last paycheck. Also pull tab bowls being pulled early? I dunno. The last time I was at the pub , was before covid. In fact it was around Christmas. The bartender completely ignored me at first. It was slow...Then she took my order and didn't offer me my change. TODAY, I drove by and the doors happened to be open and the parking lot was full. I stopped and looked in to the bar and observed no masks at all. Customers gathered. CLEARLY NOT FAMILIES. I am a huge fan of great dive bars and this is a great dive bar. I am also a fan of people watching in said bars-and this place doesn't disappoint! It is what it is. Don't go there with high expectations, just go to kick back a few with some friends, chew the fat with a local, and play some tunes on the jukebox. If you needs some grease, order some food, if you like pull tabs-they have those, too. Dave the bartender is great and knows a helluva lot of sports trivia. He is also manly enough to wear pink ties. Yep, I am a fan of this place. I haven't been in the northend very long but whenever I come into this place, the bartenders make me feel like I am a local. Oh, and there are plenty of northend locals here if that is your thing. The bottled beer is cold and jukebox is spot-on. They have a weekend DJ that is pretty good too. Great small bar that is a great place to watch the Seahawks play!! I would give this place 5-stars but unfortunately they allow dogs. Ugh. There are actually for-real dog-friendly bars out there and this is not one of them. Patrons have dogs and bring them here and the pets get stepped on and piss everywhere. They have an Ok selection of beer (from Bud to Red Hook and Pyramid), but most people are drinking Busch cans... Come on! Why would you go to the pub to drink cans? Well, the only explanation is the local country pub... I did not try there food, but I don't think I'll go there again unless I am lazy - I'll go to Bothell or to Seattle or somewhere else... This place is great. I love canned the beer, and they have a good tap selection also. The scene is to be expected in Kenmore, mostly locals and some dumb college kids. It's small but in a good way. The bartenders are always nice and they always have sports on. The bathrooms were not bad for a pub. They have an outdoor area also and karaoke on Fridays. Ask for a stein for your draft beer! Great place to stop in and have a Cold One. Beer is always Cold and reasonably priced, also have daily drink specials. Seahawks Games were always a good time with free food and rowdy Seahawk Fans. Friendly Bartenders and Great service. Parking is limited, but can park next door or across the street. Nice local crowd. read more

No food, and strict observers of "bar time". Expect to get kicked out at 11:45, despite the stated midnight closing time (weekdays).
