I absolutely adore this place! This was my second time going out here with some friends, and I will definitely be returning when I want a good time. Drinks are priced great, and the bartenders know what they're doing. The back patio is super fun to chill and play some cornhole. We played some darts, and did karaoke as well. Honestly for what it is, I give this place 5/5! From the outside, it definitely looks like a dive bar, but on the inside it's actually quite nice and has a big patio out back. They have trivia, karaoke, and TVs for sport spectating - all around a good hang! Surprisingly, the karaoke isn't loud and ear piercingly obnoxious - they actually equalize the vocals pretty well so everyone sounds decent and it blends with the backtrack. Would return! read more

This place is AWESOME! Large indoor fire pit, great food and great people. Over 30 pulltab tanks for people like me who enjoy gambling and a good selection of beer and spirits. 2015-2016 I wouldn't have stepped into this place. The service was aweful and just not a place I would like to spend my time. This last year with a new owner moving in and shaking stuff up, I decided I would give it another try. Sarah, Richard and Stacy's service was amazing! They have moved around the karaoke and it is front and center and enjoyed a few songs. They re-amped their dart room and it looks great! The signage and information for the different events and activities are great and well displayed. Looks like I will be frequenting much more often for their dart tourneys, karaoke, drinks and entertainment. Great little neighborhood bar know. So glad as it is 10 steps out my front door and can go and enjoy a drink and sit in the outside area, or play some darts, or sing a song. Come check it out, I will probably see ya there! read more

I came here with my friend who is a regular and good friend of the people I'm this bar - the bartenders are nice - it was karaoke night and that was enjoyable - I went on a Friday night and stayed until 12:15 am- I met up with a fellow friend and we played pool briefly - I got a pineapple cider that was very good - I asked the bartender to make me a White Russian - the vodka was too fiery for me and it was hard for me to finish - the drink formula wasn't as smooth as I usually have it in New York - people at the bar were lively - there is a fireplace on a table inside the bar which was also pleasant - they check ID at this bar and it was a nice vibe as I don't go to bars often. My friend loves this place. I'm glad I went with him. read more

Chill dive bar with excellent karaoke and drinks. There's a fire pit inside that you can sit around which is pretty cool. Bar staff was slammed, but still attentive. It's an okay bar but the white male bartender thinks it's okay to say racial slurs to people. He called someone at the bar the n word. And the female bartender with blonde hair was defending him also being rude previously. I wouldn't waste my time going to this bar. Dive bar, decent karaoke, fireplace, pull tabs and food to down while tipsy. Yes please! Pretty busy for a weekday evening but it's best to judge a dive bar by the weekday crowd. Bartender was nice enough. Didn't know there would be karaoke but it was actually really good! We have been here a couple times since we moved here. This was the first place I had nachos that got me addicted to it. It was so yummy ( though not healthy for me but delicious lol). Today I went back and was sad. The cheese was not melted the chicken was like canned chicken instead of grilled ( a person who cooks would know). And even each and every layer inside of the nachos including the cheese and the the chicken wasn't cooked ( chicken not roasted ,cheese not melted and the chips were soggy inside ). I was impressed the first few times and I'll give this place another chance. Their bartenders were awesome and they did comp us on our nachos even though that is not what we asked for . thank you though! :) Owners though ! I would say ... don't downgrade ! Upgrade your food . I use to love your nachos. Servers are trying hard! Applause to them. Air con is working well on a hot day applause to you. I'm looking forward to going back to the nachos I use to love . ;) Make it a come back please. Thank you for taking it off our bill ( though we didn't ask for it ,so that was nice on your offer ) But I'm really looking forward to those yummy nachos I use to have . Honestly it's the bars clientele that keep me away from this place. I'm usually right down the street and instead just go to the nearby Safeway for a drink because TAB's seems to be a favourite among local homophobes and racists. You can tell a lot about a business by who frequents the place, and that's exactly why I don't anymore. Used to go there every day after work to get a drink, play some pinball, and try my luck at the pulltabs. More than a couple occasions I did NOT feel safe there. My girlfriend and wife won't even go inside after one night we all stopped in to use the bathroom and overheard a table of the regulars I recognize talk about how the "queers and Jews are taking over the country." This is the type of customer TAB's seems to be okay with, and that's a shame because it's a well maintained location with some really kind bartenders. If you're LGBT+ or any sort of minority really, stay away from here. read more

Favorite dive bar in the area! Cheap pool, decent price for darts, and the drinks are cheap! The bartenders are also very nice and personable. I would be weary of your items, however, as I did have my phone stolen... It was my fault as I left it in the bathroom so it does not take away any stars from the business but I would be mindful of your belongings while you are enjoying yourself :) read more

There is a bartender here (possibly more by now) that gets a lot of heat for making it uncomfortable for troublemakers, but she keeps people safe and if the bar had more paid security it wouldn't put them in that awkward situation where they have to make judgment calls, but despite having to both serve the community food and drinks AND be their own security staff I'd say they are doing awesome. Please show support by being responsible and make it harder for the degenerates to get away with their behavior, that includes bringing drink covers, with the warmer weather there are more cases of drinks getting spiked. Don't let the bartenders be the only force stopping a kidnapping. Although the staff here have protected and prevented violence and kidnappings and would do it all over again without a second thought DO NOT leave that responsibility entirely for them. This staff would be devastated if for one lapse in judgment or weakness that something should happen to their locals. That's far TOO MUCH pressure. For the bartenders who are taking on the challenges that come with the night, keep making it weird and uncomfortable for degenerates. Please pressure the owner to invest in paid security and foil drink covers and moving karaoke away from the register... it's way to loud to order anything. Bartenders shouldn't be constantly on the lookout for suspicious behavior, their job is to provide drinks and a service, but the crew here cares about their customers safety, even at the risk of not being seen in the best light and at the risk of their own safety. No one has the luxury of looking good in a situation that requires them to bear their teeth. I'm giving the staff 5 stars, the owner however, until he supports his staff and cares for their safety, I'm giving the finger. read more

Met up with a few friends here for a couple of beers and a few games of pool. It's a nice, small spot but it works for a small town like Kenmore. I believe it was half off drinks on Sunday after 8pm and of course that made my wallet happy! The bartender was really, really nice and friendly. The patrons are cool and it's not crazy except for that one drunk dude that kept playing the giant jenga. I found this spot and I plan on coming here every Sunday! read more

Rude service. Went in recently on a Thursday night. Got there at 11:30pm, and was greeted by a very rude & somber bartender that said "we close in 10 minutes". I said "You close at 11:30?" She just repeated, like a rude robot "we close in 10 minutes". Okay... So I shared a quick beer with my friend & left. Mayybe you shouldn't be a bartender if you don't like working nights? Great Dive bar for sure, in a nice way, like on Guy Fieri's "Diners, Drive-in's & DIVES ! Great drinks. We went with a few friends during their "soft" opening, the first Friday night they were open I believe. It was total craziness, very busy. Lot's of fun people. Big TV's, Super friendly staff and fast service! They have a very large outdoor area that you can enjoy when the sun is out. Haven't been able to try out the food yet, since it was not a full menu when we were there for soft opening. So, this rating is for overall atmosphere, staff, service & cleanliness. Even though this is a bit of a drive for my husband and I, we will definitely be back. It was DJ Spuds that got us to drive up, but it is the bartender (a up beet Pretty blond, training new help) and wait staff that will definitely be bringing us back! Clean and safe location, WAY Bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside. On top of Fantastic service, they also have yummy bar food that is cooked Completly! I've been coming here for two years. It's full of trashy bartenders and an old and bizarre clientele. Never come here for karaoke. The dj will play the same 5-7 people over and over again. We spent 7 hours and well over $500 dollars here and never got a chance to sing a song we wanted to sing. The dj loves 80s music and the desire to promote pony tails, jean jackets and neon pink. Astonishingly and extraordinarily rude. Congratulations! If you could give "no stars", I would. But, since yelp thought no business would, could or even should fall into such a rating, I am stuck with 1 gold star. So here we go...... Let me first say, "what a shame!" Your bar has potential, I honestly believe it does. However, when you bring a problem to the owner and the owner lies to you and won't admit that she is the owner, Houston... we have a problem! I have been here several times with very mixed results. If your not a regular, your a ghost. But mind you, not a friendly ghost. I felt as if the regulars and staff wanted you gone. I was a nuisance. A pest. What a pain in the a*s I was wanting a beer. I have never seen more than 10 people in there at a time, including the bartenders and getting served here is difficult at best, but... there was light at the end of the tunnel. A friendly, non resting bit*h-faced bartender, relegated to the two slowest shifts... Sunday and Monday nights. Giving the place several tries paid off. He, yes he, was attentive, polite and was on the ball. I thought, now I have a place very close to home and I could bring my wife without being embarrassed by the crappy service. Not so fast..... Oh and, don't tip well, it gets the bartenders fired. Yep, FIRED! I tipped too well. I routinely over tip, if the service is above standard. Every server, who has had me as a patron knows this. My wife and I are low maintenance and tip very well. Here is a clue TAB's Owner.....your staff survives off their tips, not what you pay them. If you put your nicest server on your slowest shifts, you won't keep them. I know, because I'm a retired LAPD Officer who also worked in the Federal space, who now moonlights as a bartender and has a well known, vested interest in a local bar. Your bartender contacted me at my bar, telling me he was fired because my tipping activity was suspicious.... ??? Really??? I told him I would go see you and explain it. I remember every drink my wife and I consumed at your bar in that hour. I knew how much I spent on drinks and how much I tipped. And now it gets nasty.... I came in to see you and had time to digest what you did and what you said to me a couple days ago. I barely know your bartender, and I don't know you, but you insinuated that perhaps something shady happened. When I asked if you were accusing me as well, perhaps of getting free drinks, defrauding you as an inn keeper? You stated absolutely not! He was under suspicion for the activity. I then told you exactly how much I tipped your bartender and said to you, if you thought it was suspicious or fraudulent activity on my account, why did you fail to contact my bank? I offered to call the police and we could watch your DVR recording all together right then and there. You again said absolutely not... I have never felt so insulted as I did in your bar. You should be absolutely ashamed and you owe me an apology. If you're wondering why your patronage is suffering, read yelp. Listen to outsiders. I've been coming to Tabs for over a year now and I will probably continue to make this my go-to bar hangout. The bartenders are always busy, but also very nice. Wes is a great karaoke DJ and I always have so much fun at Wed night karaoke. I've brought several family members and friends here and they always say the same thing and want to come back! Pros: -great atmosphere -great karaoke -sweet bartenders -a place where people really care about their patrons Cons: -sometimes a bit too crowded on weekends -the food is mediocre at best -because of the crowds service can be slow but to be fair that's picked up now that they've hired more staff. read more

Just what you would expect from your local bar; greasy food, hard drinks, pool tables, t.v.' s and locals but with one slight twist and that is this beautiful fire place with seating all around. I ordered Chilli cheese nachos and it was a can of nallys opened up, some artificial cheese and tortilla chips. Updated review- Since we've been back, our experience hasn't been great. We have come a few times for trivia, which is good. The rest leaves a lot to be desired. The last time we were there, my husband and I came in and found a table. On the way there we made eye contact with the bartender and she nodded at us and smiled. The whole bar had maybe 10 people in it, not busy. We sat at our table, and 3 people that worked there, including either the owner or manager walked by us probably 5-6 times without making eye contact, asking us how we were, or if we'd been served. It took the waitress/bartender well over 10 minutes just to ask us what we wanted to drink. Luckily, they now have a list of what's on tap at the tables, which is better than being told you need to walk around the bar to see both wells and read the tap handles yourself because she can't remember what they have. After our drink order was taken (2 beers) it took another 15 minutes before we actually got our drinks and she was finally able to take our food order... which took probably 30 minutes to come out. 2 burgers, which were fine, but didn't seem to have been seasoned. We both ordered salads as a side,(they don't have fries available), and when we got our meals, we got both salads and individual baggies of chips (seems they didn't remember which we ordered?) It was difficult to get served additional drinks as the waitress just didn't come by our table very often. Even though we have some gift certificates from winning trivia, we're not in a hurry to come back. If you're looking for a dive with good service, great food,(amazing wings) and good prices, head to Thrasher's up on Bothell Everett Highway. If you took into account the drive time versus time it takes to get drinks at Tab's, you'd be better off driving to Thrasher's and ordering. read more
