We loved Rock Box so much, we came back TWICE during our trip. We had two experiences: doing karaeoke out in the open by the bar and also in a private room. Both were amazing but having a priavte room was just superior. We sang loud, screamed, and laughed all throughout the night. We had sangrias, sake bombs, and so many more. Definitely one of the highlights of the trip.

This was my second visit to Rockbox, the first was years ago soon after they opened. At that time, we had reserved the large, party room, which was fun and full of friends, laughter and snacks. On this visit, we rented our own private room, where four of us sung our hearts out. The biggest issues with our visit: 1. Very expensive. 2. No sound-proofing, so each time we paused, we heard (as if we were in the same room) neighboring singers. 3. Constant interruptions from the staff telling us we had 15-minutes left, do we want to add more time, do we need food/drinks, etc. It's fun to sing with friends and fun to have so many music options, but they can use some updating.

I love coming here. The energy from people singing their hearts out. The drinks here are good too. My 2 favorites are the Bombay & Tonic and Mojito.

Excellent private room karaoke. Very fun night out. Drinks add up quickly (between $7-15ish per drink), but price of karaoke itself is reasonable: $7-9 per person per hour. Staff was very sweet and friendly even during a busy night. Would highly recommend and hope to return soon!

This place is perfectly located. The ambiance was great and you could truly enjoy the atmosphere. The only problem we had was that It sometimes gets a bit crowded when it comes to karaoke clubs because for 4 people or less the spaces are way too small. We each ordered an app plus water plus a drink each and the tiny tables are not big enough, on top of anybody trying to sing over someone else, they are right in your ear and you are not even able to stand or you will knock over all of you drinks and food. we had to keep rearranging the tiny cube tables for each person to stand up and sing. Also, always ask for a room away from the main lobby, because ours was right next to the check in desk and they let customers sing in the lobby and it was all we could hear at one point. No matter how loud we wanted our own mics or turn the music up, which I am sure they have set to a certain level. The lady was just singing in the lobby. kind of annoying if you are here to hear yourself and your friends, not a random stranger belting as loud as possible in the lobby. We will try to get more people for a bigger room and not keep stepping over each other but not all our friends are karaoke singers, so 4 max was enough. Hopefully after this review they will give us a larger room at least big enough for 6 people and we won't have to keep moving drinks and water and hold appetizers inn hands because there is no room. The server was nice and I did mention how there was no room in that space for the drinks and food and water plus we were ordering shots, he kept quiet. Didd not offer to move us. and I know they had the room available because it was pretty empty in every room we passed by on the way to the restroom. I will also add it was the middle of the week, im sure they were not to capacity and could have moved us. . well, we had a good time other than that, we were going out of town the next day but hopefully next time we make it work.

My friend invited me to her birthday party, and I was thrilled to accept the invitation! The celebration took place at a Japanese-style karaoke club with a fantastic combination of food, drinks, and singing. What made it even better was that it was an all-Sunday happy hour. To ensure we got a spot, we made a reservation in advance, as this place tends to get quite busy on weekends. Fortunately, we found plenty of free parking nearby in downtown Seattle, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. The disadvantage is there are not a lot of food to choose however at least there are snacks to eat haha! Another one, I'm confused for the hallway after the women's bathroom, I'm lost a bit hehe. Still, we had an amazing time and truly relished her short celebration! Well, you should try if you love Karaoke!

Exactly what I was looking for. Great spot for solo karaoke and very competitive pricing at $7 an hour during happy hour. Song selection is mostly if not all English but the option to use YouTube makes that a non issue.

The karaoke is great. Good time with a night on the town. The food definitely is lacking, but it's not the food why you go.

It says that this establishment is wheelchair accessible. Could you go into more detail about the wheelchair accommodations?

The entrance, hallways, private karaoke rooms and restrooms are accessible for the wheelchair user.

Do they have bollywood ( Hindi) songs list for karaoke?

Another answer said that Hindi was one of the languages featured, but I'm guessing you wouldn't have a big selection :/

Is this 21 and up only?

    Yes.

Can you come here just to rent a room and sing or do you have to order drinks also?

You can just walk in and ask for a room, no other purchase is required

Cesar said that you no longer have WiFi, is that so? Years past you did. そうですか?嘘だろう?

There is wifi; it is necessary to be on Rock Box wifi for use of the really cool in-room app (or for general use, too). Rockboxcellular is the wifi network.

Any Japanese, Korean and Chinese songs here?

You can go to their website and search by Chinese, Japanese, and Spanish so there must be those languages available. http://rockboxseattle.com/songsearch.html

What's a good restaurant nearby? I'm an out of towner looking to throw a bachelorette party.

Restaurants there are plenty but there is a women's spa called Hothouse which is super nice and affordable. You can rent out the entire spa for bachelorettes, definitely worth looking into!

The First Gentleman was attentive and we got our drinks and an appetizer timely. We ordered our second appetizer with our first server and thats where the service deteriorated. I could hear the table next to us ordered the exact same appetizer as we did 10-15 mins after we did and a new server who must had just clocked in brings them the order literally within 2-3 mins later and the male commented, "oh that was fast" and I thought to myself they got our order. Another 10-15 mins go by and I had to ask "do you know how long our order will take to which she seemed to get annoyed. It could have my energy because by that time I was annoyed. I'm not sure what happened to our original server but he must have gotten off. About 5-10 mins goes by and here it comes. That confirmed the table next to us got our order because of how long it took. They never apologized for their mistake. Doing all that time they never came back to see if we would like another drink. I had to flag someone down. The clincher was we got our bill and there was 22% service charge. That was on me because if I would have seen it I might not have gone. I'm not a fan of automatically charging a service charge. I'm a great tipper but it must be earned. By than I was really annoyed and thought to have a conversation with the manager but let it go. I would not go back. The craft cocktails are spendy but I had no problem with that because they're creative and they earned it by being creative. But the energy and the environment wasn't like the other speak easy bars I visited. It was boring and to top it off the service charge of 22% and the service that came with it sealed it for me. Make sure to read the website on their thought around the 22%.

When the city reopened in 2021, I was eating here almost every day; partly because of convenience, but mainly because the food and service never miss. I've hosted everything here: birthday celebrations, after-work hangs, and dinners with friends and colleagues. Every single time, it's a hit. People walk in, fall in love with the vibe, and walk out talking about the food. The consistency is unreal. They even order food to go. The flavors? Bold, intentional, and layered in a way that makes each dish feel crafted, not just cooked. The presentation is always stunning; plates that look as good as they taste. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in what they send out. Drinks are equally impressive. Their cocktails are balanced and creative, the kind that make you slow down just to appreciate the mixology behind them. And for anyone planning group outings: reservations here are a breeze. They're incredibly accommodating with large parties, and the service stays sharp even when the place is packed. Attentive, friendly, and perfectly paced; they know how to take care of people. Dead Line checks every box: atmosphere, flavor, presentation, service, and seamless hosting for big groups. It's easily one of the most reliable and enjoyable spots in downtown Seattle, and it's stayed that way for years.

Roquette was a surprisingly small space with a wonderful vibe serving up "destination" bar-worthy cocktails. It reminded me of some of the neighborhood gem cocktail bars that I'd frequented on the East Coast. I grabbed a seat at the bar. Roquette's lineup of cocktails were varied in flavor profile using a wide range of spirits. They also served non-alcoholic offerings which looked equally intriguing as their boozy selections. I started off with the 99 Problems ($28), which, unfortunately, I forgot to note what was in the drink. It was boozy, clever, inventive, and most importantly delicious. My second drink was the Imperium Old Fashioned ($24) made with Westland Whiskey "Roquette" Barrel, Clement Cask Strength Rhum, Old Delicious Apple Brandy, Pineapple, and Spice. It was an excellent, boozy, balanced update to the classic Old Fashioned. Although I went with drinks off their menu, I have no doubt that any of their skilled bar professionals could've crafted me a wonderful cocktail if I had simply requested a classic or something on the fly based on my choice of spirit and desired flavor profile. Yes, the prices on the two drinks I ordered were pretty steep, but they were comparable to prices I've paid in Las Vegas. Plus, I don't have a problem with paying a premium for a well-made cocktail made with premium ingredients in a comfortable, welcoming setting (the drunken guy next to me who tried to engage with me in a political discussion excluded). Bottom-line: Roquette was a revelation. It served up two of the best cocktails that I've had this year. I can't recommend it enough and it'll be at the top of my list of places to hit the next time I'm in town.
