My wife and I were hungry after looking at apartments in the area and this place was perfect! I ordered the drunken noodles and chicken wings with Thai chili spice. Our friend ordered the Ka Pow and Coconut Ice Cream. Both were amazing! And we loved the great and attentive service! They even let us order and dine in when it was close to closing time. Stopped randomly in with my manager on our way out of Dallas. We came in around 2pm which is an hour before they close and reopen. They weren't busy and we sat ourselves down. Our waitress was very nice and our food came out relatively quickly. They brought us out a complimentary salad and fried spring roll, both were good. The salad was refreshing. We also ordered crab rangoons and pork gyozas. The gyozas were my favorite and my boss really enjoyed the rangoons. We both ordered drunken noodles. I had mine with shrimp and she had hers with beef. The cheese rolls were crispy and creamy, but I am used to bit sweeter filling. My Drunken Noodle dish came out hot and fresh and was very flavorful. The only thing I would change is asking for even more spice (or at the very least, ask for more chili powder and sambal). I like to breathe fire while I'm eating Thai food. Also, I understand we ordered the lunch specials, but I wish the portion was a little larger. But I know times are tough so I can't be too picky and I feel like I eat more than the average person. The menu was beautifully crafted and was pretty much self-explanatory. Based on our experience, we thought it was best to go with tempura spring rolls for appetizers. When we saw pineapple fried rice, we decided to pair it with tofu-based red curry. Rarely you would come across a chef that can make you smile with food. We swept our plates clean in a moment. We had to close the deal with a dessert, so we chose sticky mango rice. It perfectly balances sweetness and flavor, although I prefer it sweet. The ambiance was perfect. I ordered drunken noodles. We both ordered 2 spice level. If i had it to do over, i would not have gotten any spice. She was a little distracted by the photographer they had in the restaurant taking pictures of the food. I'm glad i got there prior to the professional pictures being posted. I like to see pictures taken by customers. The restaurant is small, and clean. It has a lovely blue mural across the left wall. I ordered the lunch special of pad Thai noodles which came with an appetizer of a spring roll with peanut sauce. The spring roll was fresh, flavorful and hot I appreciate that the water comes with a lime wedge. The spice level of the food is from 1-5, I chose 3 which was mild compared to what I expected. The pad thai was delicious, plentiful and paired nicely with siracha sauce. The pricing is decent and there are plenty of places to park. When I order pad thai from other restaurants I get a HUGE portion of noodles and a scant amount of protein and sauce. I come here for lunch about once a week. The lunch specials are fantastic. You set a small salad and egg roll for starters, and your meal is ready in just minutes. Went here for a first date and we ordered the shrimp dumplings for appetizer, I ordered the drunken noodles and he ordered the volcano for our entrees; and for dessert we got the mango sticky rice! Oh - and they also give you a complimentary salad first, with a lovely peanut dressing! I really enjoyed that dressing and wish I could buy some, haha! The dumplings were good and I liked the sauce. They used baby shrimp and sorta stacked them inside the dumpling - each one was stuffed pretty full! So you're getting a good bang for your buck. My drunken noodles were good; not quite enough veggies though. The sauce wasn't as flavorful as other Thai places I've been, but still yummy nonetheless. His volcano (breaded chicken in a savory sauce) was tough and mostly breading. There were no knives provided so it was hard for him to cut them up into bite sized pieces. He said the sauce was good but it was just hard to eat because of the size and toughness. I could tell he wasn't really happy with it as he didn't finish. The mango sticky rice was perfect; PLENTY if fresh mango and the rice was sweet without being too sweet. This was my favorite because I love dessert!
