Love the food here. Tacos are especially flavorful and we love the carnitas burrito smothered in queso!

My husband and I with our 2 daughters, stopped by Fuzzy's Taco Shop on a whim for lunch. We enjoy trying new places , and were excited to check this place out . Especially on Taco Tuesday. We were greeted by friendly staff , who provided awesome and kind service. The atmosphere was fun and inviting . We ordered 8 tacos 4 chicken , 1 brisket, 1 pork , 1 fish , and one spicy fajita taco . We also ordered some really yummy queso and chips and 2 drinks. The tacos were very good . I was only a tad disappointed in the fish , it was cold and I'm not sure if it was supposed to be or not but other than that it was still a good taco and I would likely order it again. Along side a really yummy lunch, we got to chat with who I assume is the restaurant manager or owner and got to learn a little bit about the restaurant and the Tempe location. He was really nice and we enjoyed the chat. He gave us some complimentary sopapilla bites with a vanilla cream for dipping . They were absolutely amazing . So fluffy and when dipped in the cream frosting , a dream ! Can't wait to return for another lunch date for tacos ! Thanks for a great lunch and chat! read more

We go to the Fuzzy's in Colorado all the time when up visiting the kids so we visited the Gilbert location and because some of their frozen margarita machines are broken, they don't have the margarita selection they have in the Colorado stores. I wish they would get the machines fixed so I can get a root beer margarita. That would get to visit more often. read more

We have been coming to Fuzzy's for more than 6 months. Usually 3-5 times each month. The outside dining has been a real pleasure as it allows us to be eating out in comfort. The tacos are always fresh and tasty. The soft shell tacos are always stuffed to almost bursting. It doesn't matter which ones you get, they are always tasty. The chips and guacamole are to die for. However, I wish the tomatoes, onions, peppers, etc would be cut up into smaller chip size pieces. You almost need a spoon to load up your chip as the big pieces break the chip all too often. My rating today would be "A 5 Star" one, however, our last two visits have been less than enjoyable. Last week we sat outside and the music was horrible and loud. I ask the friendly hostess to turn it down and find another source that wasn't so annoying. Usually it is soft jazz or classic vinyl. She apologized and said they don't have control over the music. Today again it was drums and screaming on speakers with no fidelity. After our tacos we thought we would have another round of drinks and some "to die for" sopapilla bites. (yum yum). But because of the noise, we left. The music should be in the background and for the enjoyment of the guests and not the staff. With so many taco shops and hamburger joints within walking distance you don't have to put up with an unfriendly atmosphere. We might go back next month. read more

Stopped in for a quick couple of Baja taco's...uh no. First these are not "Baja" tacos, no Birra, no carne asada, no pastor...not Baja. I had a fish and shrimp, the fish looked to be a pre-cast rectangular frozen stick fried up; the shrimp was small. Tortilla was dry and wrong size for a "Baja" taco. Toppings are standard: lettuce, tomato, cheese, nothing amazing. Honestly Del Taco is much better. I'd definitely go back to have some drinks at the bar and maybe get nachos but I'll hard pass on any more tacos. Should change the name to Fuzzy's Baja Bar and drop the "taco shop" read more

Disappointed today to fine out that when redeeming points you can't get points for the extra you purchased. So if you are redeeming, purchase that separately from what you are getting. The Baja tacos are good. Staff is polite, drinks are alright. I'd get the Baja steak as that's my go to. My their gift cup and bring every time to get free refills. read more

Fuzzy's is our go-to when we are craving good food and drinks! We started going to Fuzzy's when we lived in Fort Collins, CO and we were ecstatic to find out they have one here in Gilbert, AZ as well! This place is strange, margs arent very good and also made with one shot of tequila so youre basically just drinking a large glass of mixer. The chips have taco seasoning on them or something which is weird but not in a good way. The queso has no real flavor and neither does the salsa. They do have a habanero sauce that isnt that bad though. But all in all I would never spend my money here ever again. read more

When you open your fridge and you see something fuzzy that is a RED FLAG. I order an egg, cheeze, and potato breakfast burrito and the eggs were a little runny ... RED FLAG! I have eaten poached eggs so I thought no problem. A few hours later it was a big problem. Let's just say the eggs did not stay down. From now on I will pay attention to undercooked eggs. read more

This place has "HORRIBLE" service. We walked in, with nobody in line and stood in line for 10 minutes. We had to grab someone's attention to be acknowledged. We got charged for an extra taco we didn't order and the cook managed to get the order all wrong. The tortillas were never heated, straight out of the fridge. Awful, not going back. We dined here a month or so ago and I ordered a grilled veggie salad and added chicken. When I got it there were no grilled veggies on it. I took it back up and inquired about the lack of grilled veggies thinking they just made a mistake. The gentleman said that the bits of carrots are the veggies that come on it. I said, those little slivers? The cold ones? And he said yes, that's how it comes. I did email the company giving them a chance to redeem themselves. This is a great spot to have a fun Friday night with some margaritas and beers. With that being said, I wasn't enthused by the food. My husband and I decided to order food to go and have our own date night out home. It could possibly be the food after taking it home does not taste as great, but that's something to keep in mind. I've been to multiple locations of Fuzzy's before so I can speak on their amazing drinks and the reasonable prices for them. Hopefully, we'll be able to come back to this location and dine in, but for now the food isn't a great option for take out. read more

I've been here twice and each time I had a good time. I like the style of order and dine, the awesome drink specials and decent menu items. Typical Mexican food in my thoughts but still good. Ambiance is fun and chill. Has indoor and outdoor. Inlile that the dining room and bar space is somewhat divided to have just adults in one area and families can be on the other side. Food was good, usually is, but drinks were horrible. Weak pours, no limes, and talls when shorts were appropriate. Beer is beer, can't really screw that up just keep it cold but the mixed drinks I ordered: Tito's and Tonic were terrible. I love fuzzy's so much it was the very first place I wanted to go when restaurants opened up again! The food is always on point and the drinks to die for! The staff makes me feel like an old friend everytime . Whether we take the kids and grandkids or on a date night at the bar with the hubby we always leave happy . Although the take out service is stellar there is nothing like going there to be with "My people" everytime I go I meet a other waiter(tress) that I love! I give the place ten stars:-) read more

This is the worst customer service ever. You have to wait in line to order then find your own seat. They say it's first come first serve. Which should mean if you order first you should be able to choose you seat first. But nope this place lets you save tables for people who haven't even ordered yet. Then there is no table available for the customers who have already paid and ordered. Let alone the food is sub par not even close to true Mexican food. The staff was not helpful and could care less what is going on. The particular lady I spoke with acted as if I was bothering her and was too busy to attend to anyone but herself. My family of 6 will no longer attend this establishment. Regardless how the food tastes if the customer service isn't there, there is no reason to take a second look. read more

Not at all the same quality as their stores in Colorado. Fish Taco was Luke warm and I had to look hard to find the fish. It was shocking. Shrimp Quesadilla was bland and nowhere as tasty as the locations in Colorado. My guests were not impressed with their hood either and they said that the margaritas were horrible. I hate to give anything less than 5 stars but my first and most likely last experience here was very disappointing. I ordered the chicken salad and added shrimp and when i went to get my order, they didn't add the shrimp nor add it to my ticket. They said they would bring me the shrimp and the employee was very rude so i apologized because i clearly asked to add shrimp to the salad and knew it wasn't their fault. Moments later she brought a cup with 3 small shrimp in it. The salad was nothing special and neither were the tacos we ordered. The avocado ranch dressing had basically half an avocado submerged in ranch. Not mixed at all. I want to hope that this was out of the norm for them especially with all of the hysteria going on, but my experience was less than pleasant and i will probably never go back read more

Based on the appearance of the place, I expected the food to be much better. The environment is lively with a huge bar and lots of sitting areas. After ordering we made our way to a table that we had to clean ourselves because there was no staff to be found. Food took forever to arrive even though we only ordered 2 tacos with some beans and rice. Taste of the tacos was underwhelming, salsa was bland, and the avocado was browning a bit. Beans tasted like they came straight out of a can but the rice was decent. There are much better places in Gilbert to get tacos. read more

This was our first time eating at Fuzzy's and we really enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service. I had the brisket taco and fajita beef taco with an ice cold Dos XX's. My wife had the shrimp taco and chicken fajita taco along with the frozen Fuzzy Mango. We enjoyed the chips and queso appetizer prior to the tacos main course. I read some reviews that mentioned some customer service concerns, but our experience was excellent. The staff was friendly, courteous and accommodating. First time to this place today for dinner. Such a fun spot. Ordered the queso and chips. The queso needs some more flavor. I like a little kick to it. It seemed pretty bland. But perfect for my kids! I had the tempura shrimp California taco and it was a bit salty. The ingredients are fresh and delicious. I also had the grilled mahi taco and that was amazing. Soooo good! I will be back for sure.
