We eat here regularly and always have a great experience. It's a small location a little out of the way but definitely worth the ride. I tried a burger for the first time and was blown away. This was the first time that we ate inside this restaurant- we have gotten takeout in the last. I ordered the Fusion Passion and my date had the mule. I had the chicken lemone special and my date had a burger. The waitstaff was friendly, helpful and kind. Delicious surprise while looking over the menu! I got a burger with onion rings and my friend got the salad. Both were good. We got tacos and another burger to go for our partners. We finally decided to try this restaurant after hearing great things in the community. The atmosphere and service stand out. It has a pleasant interior decor and furnishings. The music is soft, but modern and upbeat. We ordered soups that were excellent. My husband's burger is delicious. Me and my daughter ordered fish and shrimp tacos. Fish tacos were tasty, but there were only two on the plate. A side of rice and beans would have been great. A taco holder would also improve presentation. Overall it's a solid 4.5 stars. A family owned and operated venue dedicated to a typical tavern style menu with more than a few unique twists showing the "fusion" concept of food preparation. Owner / Chef Elmer, and his partner & nephew Dennis are life long restauranteurs dedicated to obviously high quality standards of product and service. They offer a 'specials" menu along with their regular well balanced daily offerings. "Happy Hour" is promoted Mondays through Fridays from 3 to 6 pm, and includes heavily discointed Margheritas and bottled beers. A home baked pizza crust style bread with a cheese topping is served with an an excellent home made hot marinara sauce for dipping prior to the meal - a benefit that is too frequently not included at most other restaurants. We both also had a "Claus Mule" before dinner, unique and excellent.. I had a special Haddock entree, cooked properly with a baked-finished brown outer layer over orzo, with grilled asparagus, presented beautifully. The wife had the meatball appetizer with polenta, ricotta, and a generous amount of freshly shaved parmesan cheese, also very good and presented beautifully. Both of our meals were nice sized servings and we had food to take home. They offer a small selection of bottled beers, and a well rounded list of interesting cocktails, one of which is the 'Claus Mule" made with a berry puree that was fantastic! I also had a "Tavern Coffee' that was an unusual dessert coffee with a unique creamy consistency due to the addition of Bailey's Irish Cream and it was quite potent. All of the food and service was excellent and the prices were fair and competitive. I'd consider this place a rare gem, and a great date place as well as a top quality dinner experience. Took a chance on a new local place and wasn't disappointed. Had wings as an appetizer and they were great, good size wings and the sauces (Buffalo & Garlic Parm) were delicious. My entree was the Caesar salad and I added Salmon which was cooked perfectly. Service was attentive and we always had full drinks around the table. We dined at Fusion Tavern for the first time this evening. Four of us were seated promptly and were offered water (tap, still or bubbles), bread was brought to our table with a strong garlic butter. Drinks were first ordered 3 mixed and 2 beers. We ordered the Calamari appetizer and French Onion and Lobster Bisque soups. The Calamari was tender with fried Jalapeño and served with a light tomato sauce and remoulade. The French Onion soup was very good. We ordered a Seafood Risotto, Steak, Burger and Salmon Burger. When you walk in, there is a pizza place on one side and the restaurant on the right. My first impression was that it was small, but as I walked in further, the place was very quaint. Nice ambiance, the lighting was soft. The place is decorated very nicely and comfy and cozy. The service very good we loved our waitress. The servers were very nice and on top of serving on time and clearing the table. The food was delicious. I ordered the mussels over linguini. Wr ordered Mussels, shrimp, calamari in a vodka sauce, very tasty. We had the salmon dish, the risotto with shrimp, scallops, mushrooms in a light lemon sauce. We tried the French fries and onion rings. Everything was delicious. My friends and I recommend this place. The manager came over to see if we enjoyed everything. He was very friendly. We will definitely go back, maybe for lunch. If you go on a Thursday, Fri. Or Sat go in between 4:30 and 5:00. You can also reserve a table.
