Maikel did a great job with my carpets. 2 rooms and stairs for a great price and it didn't take very long at all. The quote given was exactly what was charged (plus tax). Did an excellent job communicating when he'd be here. Followed that up by being on time and very professional. Got a stain out of my carpet that I didn't think he'd be able to get out because I had used store bought carpet cleaner and failed, so I figured the stain was set it. Would definitely recommend them to a friend and use them again should the need arise. read more

Absolutely thrilled with my experience! I moved into a house that had more dog hair than carpet! A friend recommended Maikel, and he exceeded every expectation. He took my reservation over the phone on Friday and booked me for the following Monday. Maikel messaged me 45 minutes before arrival, and the whole process was faster than I expected. This company has nearly five stars for a reason! Highly recommend! read more

I'm so happy I found Maikel and his great company Full Steam Ahead. He does a great job every-time I need my carpets cleaned. Very professional Maikel is and his equipment he uses is very clean and well taken care of. I appreciate his fair pricing and his expertise on cleaning. read more

I highly recommend Maikel and his services! I found him solely based on his excellent reviews. I was desperate to find a professional cleaning service that didn't use harsh chemicals for my designer furniture. After negligent tenants left my furnished property filled with excessive dog hair and a potent wet-dog smell (YUCK!). I knew Full Steam Ahead was the only option in getting my home back to the condition it was in before this rental disaster. Maikel is professional, communicates effectively, is timely, and is very thorough. read more

Luis cleaned three throw rugs and two sofas. They look transformed after daily dirt attacks from our dogs and cats. Gross stains disappeared, the rich color of the fabrics came back, and we had deoderizer (that word is too hard to spell) and carpet protection added to keep everything looking spiffy! Would definitely hire FSA again. read more

Maikel is the nicest, most thorough, and delightful person to have come into my home. The sofa cleaning was beautiful, quick, and left it smelling and feeling new and fresh. He cleaned my favorite little wool rug that was so badly stained--I've never been happier with a choice for service. I would completely recommend Maikel and Full Steam to anyone looking to take their soft surfaces to the next level clean and refresh. read more

These guys were great! Super friendly and fast service as well. The process was smooth and the rug was great 10/10 recommend!! This rug was basically black! read more

Maikel promised the best job we've ever had, and he delivered. We've owned these carpets 15 years and they look 10 years younger now. The nap is no longer pushed down due to years of walking. It's fuller and smells great. I recommend you give him a try! read more

We have used his service twice to steam-clean tiled floors at two different residences. Both times he was able to remove much more stain and dirt than we expected, and more than we were able to remove ourselves via scrubbing. The prices were quite reasonable, as well. Highly recommended. read more

I work as a Realtor in Austin. Maikel cleaned the carpet at one of my listings - it had a strong pet odor that folks were commenting about when they came through the house. After Maikel cleaned the carpet the odor was eliminated, the carpet looked fantastic, and the house actually sold just a few days later! He also cleaned the carpet at one of my personal properties. To say his cleanings are transformational are an understatement! I was quite impressed by his professionalism, quality of work, and reasonable prices. Plus I love supporting local companies and small business owners (and nice people like Maikel). I would absolutely recommend Full Steam Ahead to anyone in Austin or Greater Austin who is in need of this service! I look forward to working with him again soon. read more

We used Maikel and couldn't be happier. He's come twice to our house and each time he was super professional and honest. I'm not quite sure which is better, the work or the professionalism. Carpets are clean and smell great. They look like they did the day they were put down. read more

I scheduled 2 appointments with FSA carpet cleaning. I took off work to meet FSA and both times Maikel text me to inform me he needed to cancel do to an injury. He didn't even have the respect to let me know until the end of the 3 hour appointment window when I was inquiring about when he would show. He is extremely unprofessional and has no regard for others time. DO NOT RECOMMEND! read more

I got the carpets cleaned in a bedroom and a walk-in closet. The carpets look amazing! Thank you! It was super fast! The whole appointment took about an hour (cleaning was about 30 minutes). Super easy to schedule an appointment, I called and while on the phone got a text and email confirmation for the appointment. I chose the 2pm-6pm slot and on the day of at 1:30pm I got a text saying that Maikel was on his way. We thought that we wouldn't be able to get the carpets cleaned because there was no parking near the apartment, as the equipment runs from the van. But Maikel searched around the property for awhile and got a spot where his equipment could reach, so that was great! I got the Yelp deal where you pay $30 for $50 worth of service and that was easy to redeem. The minimum is $80. read more

Luis was here right on time. He was polite, professional, explained the cleaning process well and did an outstanding job! My carpets were heavily stained from my puppy Levi. Now the carpets look like new with no odor or residual staining. Luis also steamed areas of my tile floor. They had never been professional cleaned. No matter how often they were mopped, they did not get clean. Now I wish I had the entire tile area cleaned! You can really see the difference between the steamed area and the untreated area. I will definitely be using Full Steam Ahead again. read more

The hallways in our building smell AMAZING after Maikel cleaned them up. There were stains that were so black that I would have never thought they would ever come out. He even offered to power wash the industrial rugs. He also has an excellent memory even if it had been a while since our last clean. Booking through his website is incredibly easy since it has his true availability and the communications sent are great to remind me of the appointment. Easiest company to work with hands down! read more

Maikel saved us today! Our humongous great pyrenees was sick in my son's room last night. I took one look at the damage (and almost started crying) and thought for sure that we were going to need new carpet. It didn't look salvageable and I didn't know where to even start with the clean up process. Maikel came over for an estimate on the same day and cleaned every last bit of the mess! We are so grateful for him and his expertise! I recommend him 1000% I, hopefully, will not need his services again any time soon, but I am definitely going to use him again if we do! read more

Maikel came to remove some pesky pet stains from my carpet and did a phenomenal job! I thought I was gonna have the stench of pee in my carpet forever, but he was able to get it out! He also cleaned my rug and couch, both look brand new. He was super professional and easy to work with! I also LOVED the door covering he placed over my front door while working, it was a nice touch so the A/C wouldn't escape! I would def use again, but hopefully I don't have to for a while. lol read more

Hands down the best carpet cleaning business I have ever done business with. I have rental houses and have always hated having to call to get the carpets cleaned. I knew that when a technician would try to up sell me on every little stain; extra cost for deodorizer, etc.. Maikel and his business are on a completely different level. I was impressed from the start with his communication. He responds quickly to text messages and at notifying me when he was on his way. He was by far the most professional dressed guy that looked like he should be in the office, not in the field cleaning carpets. He uses the state of the art equipment and even uses some tools I have never seen before. He uses a special tool that "fluffs" up the carpet. It really made it look almost new after he cleaned all three rooms. He used a special zippered screen/door that kept the AC in the house instead of leaving the door wide open for the hoses. Special corner protectors were placed in strategic areas to keep the hoses from rubbing and damaging the molding or walls!! His attention to detail was amazing! Maikel attitude and hard work are the key ingredients to a happy customer and a successful business. This is the only carpet cleaning business I will ever use for my rentals or for my own home! read more

I booked an appointment two weeks in advance, got confirmation, got reminders and Maikel Guerrero didn't show up.after waiting two hours I called him to find out what time he would arrive or how far out he was and he told me he wasn't coming. He said I was 33 miles away and that was too far. He said he didn't know why the computer booked the appointment but that he wouldn't come. I asked why he didn't call me, knowing this for two week? I arranged for this but he was not considerate enough to call and cancel and let me sit there and wait. he said he was short staffed. That's his excuse for not calling. Two weeks and he couldn't find time to tell me that 33 miles was too far to drive. read more

Maikel with Full Steam Ahead saved our couch and love seat. We recently took in a stray cat that wouldn't leave our porch and tried to make it an indoor cat. Big mistake. The stray decided to use our couch as a litter box two days before we were throwing a dinner party and game night. We needed them cleaned ASAP. I sent a quote request to Maikel and not only did he return a more than fair price, he was able to be there the next day. Maikel showed up on time and after hearing about our recent struggles, suggested we use an enzyme spray after cleaning to help completely neutralize any odor and bacteria. Now mind you, the couches had years of dog hair and slobber on them as well as the mess from the stray cat. Maikel did an amazing and thorough job. He raised the pH during cleaning then brought it back down to leave the couches super soft. He thoroughly cleaned every section with a boars hair brush to get every little spot. Long story short, our couches were in pretty bad shape and Maikel made them like new again. There is no doubt that when it comes time to do our carpets, I'll be calling Maikel. read more

I went with Full Steam Ahead because they have the highest Yelp rating possible. I'm super picky and unfortunately this means I read all the reviews before picking a service. These guys are AMAZING. From the free honest and transparent consultation to the actual cleaning of my couches I was impressed. Their pricing is fair-beyond fair and these guys literally put in some serious work to clean the items you have requested. I am not a referral person nor do I leave reviews but truly this company is legit. Great pricing, great service, and most importantly you can trust the work will be what you want. Highly recommend.. read more

Great experience. Booked online. Showed up exactly on time - professional, personable. Good quality work. Highly recommend.

We have used Full Steam Ahead now for 3 years and we are still just as impressed with their carpet cleaning now as the first time we used their services. We have tried at least 4 other companies prior to finding Full Steam Ahead and no one could get our carpet stains and odors. We have 3 dogs and 2 kids, so you can imagine how dirty our carpet gets! I absolutely recommend Full Steam Ahead to anyone who wants to get their carpet cleaned. If you have tried other companies and they couldn't get your carpets cleaned, try these guys. Service with a smile! Maikel has over 10 years of experience and has also worked for large carpet cleaning chains, so he is now one step ahead of them! He uses better carpet cleaning tech then the other guys and the carpet and floors came out amazing! Spots gone. Matted carpet gone! He was cheerful, flexible and accommodating. Trust your floors to him! Thank you for wonderful service! read more

As a realtor, I don't want just a good job I want the best job. I have used Maikel several times for my clients and he never disappoints. First rate job and professionalism. I'm a realtor that needed to find another company that would be able to get some of the hardest stains out of carpets. I wanted to test Maikel's company with a home that had pet stains, that I didn't even know about, and previous stains from last tenant. I was pleasantly surprised on how he made the carpet look refreshed and all of the stains were gone. I wanted to wait several days before doing the review to see if the stains would come back and it has not! He also did an amazing job of cleaning hard tile and put a sealant to prevent further staining. His company is well worth the money and I would recommend! read more

There's no service like the service received from someone who owns their own business. Maikel has provided two services in my home, carpeted stairs and sofa. The stairs were in a rental and the carpet was very worn. After cleaned, they were significantly better visibly and the condo smelled better! A couple of months later, I was dog-sitting. The pup had a rough night and unfortunately got sick on the couch. Maikel was honest that one of the cushions might not be salvageable. However, he spent a good amount of time on the sofa and was able to get everything out! I'll definitely be using his services again and highly recommend it to others. read more

Maikel did an excellent job on my two area rugs and couch. He is the only company I found that could do Viscose rugs in home (as opposed to me having to bring it in). He even offered to come by and help me move the rug back under furniture after it dries. He was very kind and professional and I felt comfortable with him in my home with my son and I for several hours. He also does dryer vents. Price was very reasonable and the result was excellent! Rugs I was considering throwing out now look good as new! read more

This is my second time using Full Steam Ahead & we were not disappointed. They use some different technology they really makes the carpet look like new! He uses a rotating brush with the pretreatment solution that agitates the cleaner into the threads & fluffs it up. When he goes back to steam clean this really makes a huge difference in the finished result. My carpet looked like new again & it's 5 years old. They have a customer for life! read more

I'm here to give Maikel and Full Stream Ahead high praise for helping me get my mother's home on the market. From the moment we spoke on the phone to the time he left the property, Maikel was courteous and professional. Hands down the best experience I've had with carpet cleaning services! I wish I would've taken "before" pictures because I can't explain how good of a job he did. I am extremely happy I chose this company and HIGHLY recommend them to anyone. read more
