The tech got the job done, but I had to ask him to try a few more times to get the dark spots out, or else he was going to give up. He told me that was probably the best I was going to get. I'm still giving it 4 stars because he did help me to get the dark spots out. One thing to note is that it's powered with a very powerful but loud generator, so it's wise to give your neighbors a heads up. The exhaust is also very smelly. Since you can't close your door completely with the pipes running from the van into your house, the toxic smell does get inside your house. The communication was fast at first, but then it stopped on the day of the scheduled service, which was very strange. I couldn't tell if the tech was still coming or not. The customer service was awesome and the gentleman who cleaned ours was kind, polite, and efficient. It smelled amazing and the carpet was fluffy and way cleaner then I ever could imagined it could be/look. I will not lie that we had some serious stains from our dogs and food and other gross stuff and they disappeared after their job! I was shocked! This is an overdue review, Vladimir steamed our carpets a couple of months ago, but the result is still just so impressive. Between two dogs (one often incontinent), a cat, and five people living here, our carpet started to look and smell... funky, is the word I guess. After scheduling and receiving an estimate, Vladimir came to the house, assessed the damage and steamed the entire upstairs and the rug downstairs. Lots of stains, which I thought were permanent, came right out. I expected the house to smell "wet" after the cleaning, but it didn't! There was absolutely no smell. No cleaner smell, no wet dirt smell, none of that. It was mostly dry within two hours and entirely dry within 5-6 hours. Vladimir also recommended sealing the carpet to prevent the dust and pet dander from going through and into the padding, which we did. Result? Clean, soft carpet everywhere, no residue. Scheduling was a breeze. Cost is comparable to large corporate carpet cleaning companies that give you "big discounts", but here you get someone local and someone who knows really their sh*t, and you get excellent results.
