Lando and his two kids cleaned my carpet on Labor Day and three hours after they were gone we noticed someone had gone through my wife's jewelry box and stole just under $1,400 in CASH! I called Lando immediately and explained I used some of the money earlier that day and they were the only people to come into my house, therefore please do the right thing and return the money to me. After a police report, submitting a claim with his insurance, and numerous additional calls to beg for the money back nothing has happened. My wife and I are devastated over this loss due to the fact we are expecting a baby in October and we have been saving so long for her upcoming medical bills. What a horrible thing to do. I heard about Shepards Carpet Cleaning, a black-owned business from an 88.7 KAZI radio commercial. Mr. Lando Shepard did a wonderful job thoroughly cleaning our carpet. He took his time vacuuming, then treating the carpet area before going over it with the carpet cleaner and streamer. I am really happy about the service he provided with excellence. My parents moved into their new home five years ago. The house came with a dark brown carpet. My family always vacuum the carpet. Decided to finally stop by Yelp as I'm about to ask for Lando's expert service once again. Having tried a few of the other better known cleaners in the past, I was greatly impressed by Shepard's superior work over the others. Honestly, I don't know if the equipment he uses is just better or what, but it really is a noticeable difference. I have carpet that is fifteen years old. Shepard's carpet cleaned areas that had red stains and almost any other color that one can or cannot imagine. I am amazed that it could be done. This is my second time using Shepard's Carpet Cleaning and I love using them!!! I originally heard about them from a radio ad and glad I called! I had two big dogs that were inside/outside pets and a young child and carpets get dirty very easily, but Lando always does a fantastic job getting the carpets back to their original color. I have known about Shepard's for a while. Following the recent winter storm, our bathroom sink flooded a bit and some water made its way out onto the bedroom carpet. I called Shepard's to have that extracted. He showed up on time and quickly assessed that this did not need to be extracted and would dry up within a day as-is. Wow!
