This is the 2nd time we have used Derrick for carpet, upholstery and floor care. He is friendly, professional and does an excellent job at a very fair price. Highly recommend! read more

Great job cleaning my carpets at a great price! My carpet is 30 years old and though I've taken good care of it, it's still 30 years old. Derrick got it looking almost new. Highly recommend. Also, cheaper than any carpet service I've used in the past. read more

We moved into a home that had pets and our children are asthmatic. I called around and chose Genesis based on their reviews and pricing. They didn't have any regular appointments left but went above and beyond to make an after hours appointment for us so that we would have the carpets done when we needed to prior to our move in date. The owner was courteous and a man of his word. Our carpets were cleaned and we are happy and satisfied. I will use them again. read more

Derrick came out today to do about 450 sq ft of tile/grout & our large 6 piece sectional. He did a phenomenal job. His arrival window was between 12-3 & he arrived around 1:30. He completed the job around 3:30 or so. We've had animals and a toddler climbing all over our sectional for over 4 years, so it was definitely due for a professional cleaning and not just my carpet cleaner's attachment. We've only lived in our house for about a year and half and thought might as well have the tile done. Who knew our grout was white and not grey or brown? Overall, we we are very satisfied with the job he did, the professionalism, & the price. We will certainly utilize his services again and recommend him to our neighbors. It's also worth mentioning that we had quotes from 4 companies total and the other companies quotes were over $300-$400 more than this one. You truly cannot beat the price! read more

We got five rooms and a hallway cleaned by Genesis Floor Care and the results were amazing!! Derrick Abercrombie was our technician and we couldn't have asked for a better guy to do the job. He was professional, very respectful, asked about the problem spots, more traffic areas etc., in the house and got them spotless clean. There were few spots which were sitting for years and are gone now. I am very happy with the results. If you are looking to get your old carpet steam cleaned, Derrick from Genesis floor care is your guy. Highly recommended!! read more

Derrick with Genesis Floor Care was FANTASTIC! He covered 5 rooms, a hallway, and stairs in about 2 hrs flat. He was thorough in his approach, did not try to upsell, and was extremely friendly. I definitely recommend his services and hope to maintain this relationship for other needs I have in the home. He is the owner and after a short chat afterwards I learned he has been doing this as owner for 24+ years. In addition to floors, he also works on upholstery. Windows might be coming soon as well, so if your lucky.....that might be an offering by the time you read this. read more

Derrick is wonderful! He is very accommodating and was right on time and quick!

My carpets look almost brand new! Thanks to Genesis for doing such a thorough job treating and cleaning all my carpet! Derrick was professional, funny, and very kind. My carpets only get cleaned once a year so they get pretty gross! Derrick didn't comment on the state of my carpet just asked if I had any spill areas that needed special attention! I would highly recommend Genesis floor care! I'll be calling again for sure! read more

We had Derrick stop by and he did a fantastic job. Couldn't Rex come to Genesis Floor Care enough. Technician was so friendly and we couldn't be happier with the way our carpets look! read more

Genesis Floor Care - My hardwoods never looked so good! - Carpet Cleaning Near Me - Hutto, Texas

I hired Genesis to clean my carpets. Booking was easy and the timeframe of arrival was only three hours. Derrick arrived at the top window of that timeframe. He was courteous and thorough. He did a great job and the price was great. I'll definitely have them back out again! I highly recommend. read more

What a great job! I used a living social deal and was a little afraid of what type of job they would do based on the deal I had gotten. The cleaner gave me a phone call 15 minutes before he arrived to tell me he was on his way. He came in and got right to work. It only took him about 20 minutes to do my entire apartment. My carpet looks amazing. I highly recommend! read more

Be prepare to pay additional $25 trip charge if you not in within 10 miles of zip code 78634. I purchased the coupon and setup the appointment the staff never mention to me I am outside the service area and will be additional surcharge. When the technician arrive, he mention to me $25 trip charge is in the fine print, but we both look at the fine print and nothing mention $25 surcharge. The only thing on Coupon is "Valid only within 10 miles of zip code 78634". That means the surcharge can be any amount they want to say. Anyway, I went ahead paid that fee but will never use them again. By the way, the technician arrived without a face mask, I asked him to put on his face mask and he did but he never cover his nose while cleaning my house. Think twice before you use them during pandemic. read more

Scheduling online was easy. I received a call the morning of my appointment to say he was on the way. Derrick was professional, and wore a mask inside my home when I requested him to. He did a great job. I would hire him again! read more

I saw a groupon for this company, but it had a 10 mile limit. I called to make sure they'd honor it as my house was 12 miles away. They replied that was fine, but when I went to redeem the groupon tried to charge a $25 trip fee. It wouldn't have mattered except that I feel I was a bit mislead. read more

Excellent carpet cleaner. Shows up. Does a very good job. Fair price. This is my review.

Derrick did an amazing job cleaning my carpets and getting the cat smell out!!! I totally recommend his services. Check out his deals on Groupon. read more

Worst experience I've had with a contractor so far. I hired this guy to do a very simple job; re-stretch a very small area of carpet. Over the phone he told me it would cost $60 but that he had to come over to make an accurate estimate. We scheduled for a Monday at 8:00 and he arrived at 8:55 (making me late for work). His estimate came out to $85 and I happily agreed to it even though it was higher than what he had told me on the phone. A week later, he came to do the job and stopped in the middle to tell me that he hadn't noticed some of the tack strip was missing so he would have to come again the next week and charge me an additional $60 for the visit! (over the $85 that I already paid him) Not only that but he chipped my baseboard trim with his tools! I don't know about the other reviews here but "Genesis Floor Care" is unprofessional and unethical. Buyer beware. read more

Holy Cats!! I walked into the office today and thought we'd been recarpeted! It was better than new! When I left on Friday, it was office carpet- dingy, more than it's share of coffee spills and high traffic areas. Monday morning, it is squeaky clean- and the whole place smells so fresh. I was amazed at the high quality, professional job- but my boss just kept saying "it smells so GOOD!" We'll all be using Carpet Heaven from now on- it's the only way to get fast, affordable, quality carpet care- and seeing (and smelling!) is believing!! Thank you! read more

I purchased a LivingSocial Deal with Genesis for mobile detailing and they were phenomenal! I had just been jipped by a LivingSocial Deal with another mobile detailing service, so I was a bit skeptical that this would work out. The two guys from Genesis not only showed up for the job on time, they called ahead of time to make sure I was home. When they arrived, they were kind, courteous, friendly, and ready to detail my car. And boy did they ever! My car looked brand new when they were finished. They took their time (2 hours) on my tiny little Accent and treated me like it was a Lexus. I can't say enough good things about Genesis! read more

The owner is professional, kind, and understanding. He drove across town to clean my carpet and did an amazing job. Thanks so much for everything. read more

We found GFC on Groupon, and we're very pleased with the carpet cleaning service we were provided. We scheduled online and received quick confirmation via email. In the day of appointment they gave us a reminder call, and were good about letting us know the arrival time. Derrick was friendly, professional, and even gave me the heads up to make sure our kitty was some place safe from the noisy carpet cleaning sounds. The carpets look like new! Overall great service. read more

I bought a living social deal to have my carpet cleaned and they did a great job. I live in a 1 bedroom apartment and what would have taken me about 90 minutes to do with the rug doctor took them 10 minutes and it was the same price, maybe even cheaper. The other great thing was that if you clean your carpets again within the same year they will still honor the Living Social deal price! You can't beat that!! The guy who came out was friendly and professional. The only reason that I did not give them 5 stars is because they never answer the phone, you always have to leave a message and I hate that. I feel that I shouldn't get a machine everytime I call a business. I also tried to e-mail them and never got a response. Other than that, they were great and I would recommend them and will be using them again in the future. read more

Beautiful job! I bought the voucher off of Living Social in May and finally used it in October and I can't say enough how wonderful my carpets turned out! I have 2 very lived-in living rooms and a high traffic dining room and he was able to get them looking better than when I moved in! He was very professional and called before he was on his way. I will definitely use them again! read more

I had Genesis come out today & Derrick who is not only the owner but he was also the gentleman who took care of my home for me. Wonderful job, very pleasant to work with and I WILL be calling them again. Genesis offers a nice wide variety of services too not just carpet cleaning. I did use a Groupon but there were no hidden costs. What we discussed prior is what I paid. You won't be disappointed, thank you Derrick again . read more

Derrick did amazing job on are 3 carpet bedrooms! Very professional will and personable will use them again highly recommended!!! Thanks again read more

I've been using Derricks service for approximately 13 years. I use him routinely for my home and both office locations. He is the owner AND does the cleaning himself, so he cares about quality. He is very reliable and works very hard. If he ever went away or changed professions, I would be in trouble.....I've tried all the other companies and they don't compare. read more

Genesis came to clean my carpets, and did a fine job. It was standard carpet cleaning - he came through, sprayed the floors, and steam vac'd everything up. The floors looked much better when he was done than they did before he came. He also cleaned a chair at my request, and warned me that it wouldn't look much better when he was done. (It's a cream colored fabric chair that my kid plays video games in and my dog sleeps in. I wasn't expecting it to be clean, but I knew the steam would at least make it a little more sanitary.) I wasn't "5 star" blown away by the experience - but having had other companies come in for the same work, I can say Genesis did every bit as good a job as anyone else, and a far cry more personable while doing it. read more
