I called Eddie at Full House Construction when my washing machine leaked all over my house. He first gave me the name/number of Express Dry who was amazing, came out to my house same day, explained everything along the way. Then Eddie came out and spent a couple of hours measuring and taking photos to submit the estimate to Insurance. USAA approved the estimate first time because it was so detailed. He also referred me to Rayo Wholesale floor coverings which was fantastic - got much more carpet for my money! Full House construction is a general contractor and they hire subcontractors to do the work. I see some complaints about that in other reviews - that's typically how these things work unless you act as your own general contractor and hire all the subs yourself. Money wasn't an issue for the job to get done, not sure what the other reviewer is talking about. They have a guy who does an amazing job with painting (I'm sorry I forgot his name)! There was one day one of the subs did a poor job on texturing the wall, so it was redone the next day by the regular guy. There was also a worker who repaired a cabinet in a way that was no appropriate and Eddie got it done properly the very next day. They kept in regular communication with me via email, phone which I appreciated. Overall took a little longer than I'd hoped, but these things always do. I was so happy that I also hired them to replace carpet and baseboards in two rooms that were not effected by the flood. read more

Doug and his crew at Full House did an excellent job with work that we needed following a plumbing accident. We needed a complete reconstruct of our bathroom and original hardwood floor refinishing. The contractors that Doug works with for the various stages of the work were all great and Ryan was outstanding in every aspect of his work. Our floors look fantastic. Replaced our tub with a beautiful walk in shower and all of the work done to replace everything in the bathroom is perfect. Outstanding work, cost, professionalism, timely, and communication! He helped guide me through the logistics of my insurance claim, listened to my concerns, and always a pleasure to work with him and his crew. Occasionally they even sacrificed their weekends to get the job done. Who does that these days? I had major flood damage in the kitchen, dining room, and living room of my 1942 house. The floors were the original white oak from 1942. I had to have total remediation including the plaster walls. Doug and his crew rebuilt the kitchen cabinets, took out all the appliances and replaced them, rebuilt the original built-in shelving (looks identical to the original and its pair), repaired the leaking water line to the fridge, and replaced the floor. Everything was protected and the job area was always clean and neat. When I walk in looks like nothing ever happened in the house. I definately will use his company again for any additional projects or, hopefully, not for any more disasters. read more

We had a slab leak. Our plumber referred a restoration company and restoration company recommended Full House. We weren't really in a position to research contractors. They were horrible at scheduling, completing and invoicing. If you have a slab leak and looking for a contractor, take the time to look for someone else. My house flooded twice within 3 days at the beginning of November,2020... they were highly recommend by the water damage restoration company. they came to do the estimated n started the project by November 20,2020.... the second day of the project .. they left the urine in the toilet bowl without using the water to flush it out( knowing the toilet wasn't working) ... then the painting was terrible...each jobs were poorly done ... I asked so many times to fix .... n till to this point they still had not done what I had asked... even the boss was there on the day to check... words came out of him was poorly done n should not took this long.... think twice before you hired them cause they r irresponsible n not keep their work n also they r subcontract license .. hope this help for those who want to do house projects in near future read more

We had a leak from an upstairs bathroom into our laundry room so we needed drywall/baseboard repair, new tile, wall texturing and paint. I read many of the reviews and was hesitant to use them but I saw a favorable review from an USAA Insurance client so I decided to give them a try. The first meeting with Eddie went well. He was very personable and professional. Gus then took over the project and I dealt with him and his team. A few times they were hours late to show up but once I talked to them about it, they were on time. I could not stay around all day to make sure what I wanted done was completed. I would tell them what I wanted in the morning, only to come home to someone completely different painting the bathroom over a hole in the wall without repairing it, brackets not taken down from the windows as I asked and paint splatters on my windows. I had to reach out to Gus about my tile that was ordered after 10 days as he never gave me an update or a time frame. Some one completely different was sent to lay my tile with some issues that I had to point out to the original team. Tools were left on my front porch and on my driveway with sharp objects I had to move so I could park. I still have tools and gloves left in my garage. I finally had to call Eddie after a month to get my repairs finished. He came and had to touch up obvious paint mistakes and basic cleanup. I would not use them again for any type of restoration. All that being said, the team was courteous and willing to listen to my instructions and complaints when things needed to be fixed. read more

Oh man where to even begin with this horrible company? This is going to be long because that's how bad it was, read if you're really considering them because I go into details of the job that was done- cliff notes they were fired. Doug and Eddie, started off like a dream. We met and went over everything that needed repairing due to water damage and they seem to be on board and sounded like they were going to be professional/fast. Our house was completely gutted. It was just a shell of the house, no carpet upstairs and going up the stairs, no tile in the master bathroom, no flooring at all downstairs, exposed wires, some of our walls were knocked down, and no kitchen. Mind you we had to live in the house while all this was going on, due to insurance stuff which was a ordeal in itself. When they actually started the job it was just one mistake after the other. It was like pulling teeth from them to get anything done. We had to beg their guy Alfonso, to do our carpet and paint. He had called out multiple times and took forever to paint a room and would only do like 3 hrs worth of work and leave and not show up for like 3 days. Doug and Eddie were never aware of when he was supposed to show up. And we were told multiple times that we would be a priority after another job was wrapped up. These guys knew our crappy situation and that we had a toddler that couldn't not run around due to tools laying around, nails sticking up from where the carpet was ripped, and exposed wires. This was a HUGE job for them. They asked for a progress payment for the work they had done and that was tiling, dry wall patch up and carpeting and all the small little details that came with it. So we paid them the progress payment then fired them. Because, they did such a horrible job and went over their contract date; let me tell you they were no where near complete when we fired them. After complaining to Doug about Alfonso, he swore that he fired him from the company, but it turned out that he just fired him from our job and not the company, which I don't care it was the fact that we were lied to which shows dishonesty. Then Doug asked if he can have another crew come in after they were fired to fix and repair what the first crew did wrong, we agreed and after telling the new crew what needed to be done they still missed things the first crew didn't do and at that point my husband and I were done and just didn't ask them to come back. We still have patches around outlets and light fixtures that have different color paint because they didn't want to remove them to do the job properly. We have a different color paint in my daughters room that they used to match the paint, mind you her room was not to be touched since it was not in the insurance scope of what needed to be repaired. They took out our CO2 detector downstairs and never replaced it and installed the AC wrong, we had to call someone else to repair it. We also had to buy new blinds and track lighting because they threw ours away, which were perfectly fine to begin with. On top of that my husband had some saw horses, a shovel, and a hammer taken from him and we have a smiling face carved into our night stand. Eddie was supposed to supervise the pack out and begged the insurance for money to supervise and guess what he never once showed up to the pack out. Now Doug comes back and says we owe him money. And while we were reviewing what he "is owed" in front of him he has the audacity to tell us oh I'm sure you'll find things in there that we didn't do, just cross it out. Ugh.... shouldn't you have done that before coming to our house or was he trying to pull a fast one? There was a whole bathroom he is trying to charge us for that wasn't touched, in fact his employees used that bathroom and left it completely filthy. So the only thing that is owed to him is the cabinets and half the pack out, which we don't mind paying for of course. We told him we were going to order the cabinets and he insisted he could order them for us. He is now charging us $5,500 for the cabinets and he told us that the company he ordered them through still needs to be paid. So, we took a trip to the place to pay them and deal with them directly, not only did he lie, again, because they were paid for already, but the cabinets cost significantly less than what he told us they cost. Now, I wouldn't mind paying him the inflated price, however he was already fired and insisted to order them for us at no cost other than materials. These guys are crooks and dishonest people, I don't trust anything that comes out of their mouths and they hire lazy people. They take on way more projects than they can handle, again we were a huge job and they lost us due to not being professional by any capacity of that word. I had high hopes for them, even the guy that referred us to them was completely shocked on their work. Maybe they were going through a rough patch but I would look elsewhere for a contractor. read more

There is little to no communication and work done is barely worth the hassle of trying to deal with them. I highly suggest finding someone else to do your reconstruction. They began by preparing an additional scope of work to augment the incomplete one prepared by the insurance company's adjuster. The way it was prepared and presented enabled my adjuster to accept it immediately. Doug and Ryan kept me and my tenants informed throughout. They kept the appointments they made, they brought in specialists as needed (Express Dry), they worked as fast as they could to minimize the inconvenience to my tenants. As expected, issues arose and Doug and his team were proactive in explaining them to me and giving me recommendations without any pressure. Full House is not the company doing the work. They hire other companies and take 40% of the contracted price. We didn't know that until the worker said he didn't have enough money in the job. He showed us a list with all the numbers and we thought we would get a full complete job. We didn't. My ceiling had about an 8 ft. x 4 hole , due to the upstairs neighbors tub leaking into my living room and Eric w/FULL HOUSE CONSTRUCTION and his team (Tom w/ A to Z Contracting) came through with a fast and amazingly great job! A water pipe burst on the ceiling above the bedroom & garage caused damages to the wall, carpet and water heater tank base, and was detected by a plumbing company. After the drying period, done by a different company, Full House Construction took over the job. Jorge worked hard and did a wonderful job of removing the wallpaper, installing the drywall on the affected sides of the bedroom, drying the area and painting the whole room. He was so efficient, knowledgeable, courteous & friendly. Today, he came back to replace the brackets of the curtain rod that inadvertently, got lost. Eddie Noah, the project manager was nice, kind and friendly, always returned my call, listened to all my inquiries and facilitated everything that was to be done and made me feel at ease and a valuable customer. The carpet installers also did a great job, making the room look new. Doug, the company owner was receptive in all my phone conversations with him. Full House Construction Company, I can't thank you enough for the great service you had afforded me & my family. I feel so much better now that everything is back in order. This is a fine company. In late June of this year, we discovered a slab leak under our kitchen floor. We immediately called a local plumbing contractor, who in turn called a company to do the immediate clean up and drying of the kitchen floor damage. During this time it was determined that we had to have our entire kitchen demolished and the flooring surrounding the kitchen was ripped up and would have to be replaced. Obviously we were devastated and had no idea what to do. One of the contractors recommended Full House Construction. I called them right away and hooked up with Eddie Noah. He jumped right in and went through the process with us in conjunction with our home owner's insurance claim representative. As we ended up having our entire house repiped, holes were made in the garage, the master bedroom (which backs up to the kitchen), the master bathroom, and the master bedroom closet. Additionally all of the wooden flooring needed to be replaced. While I go on and on... it is to tell how much damage we had and how our lives were disrupted for more than 3 months. Full House Construction led by Doug and Eddie, Ryan, Francisco, Jeff and many others definitely came to our rescue. This was the most amazing tradesman I have ever witnessed and I was in the Construction business for 10 years. Ryan is the jack of all trades. He completed the drywall work, including texturing. He built a new vanity cabinet from scratch to fit the existing corian top. He did all the painting, He did all the plumbing. He put in a brand new porcelain floor including a porcelain base. Full House was so helpful and professional during the initial phase of drywall removal, water containment and mitigation, required testing etc, that I decided to use them for my full reconstruction which was removal and reinstallation of wood floors, painting, drywall repair, cupboard repair etc. Full House created a detailed work list, coordinated directly with my insurance claims rep and most critically did what they said they would do at the price they said they would do it at! They even helped me with an in issue of my making with a flooring supplier to ensure that I was happy with the finished result.
