In early August of this year, our townhome's "washer box" failed to contain drainage of the AC condenser line. Hairline cracks in the washer box had allowed uncontained AC water to seep into an adjacent unit, requiring the Certified Restoration team to investigate, protect, and restore affected drywall. All parties involved in the repair (owner, tenant, insurance company), including myself, and "CR's " team to be thorough, responsive, and focused on customer satisfaction. Special shout out with a "High 5" to Diana D in customer service for her willingness to listen, ensuring my service needs were met promptly. read more

After my condo was flooded due to a leaky pipe, the folks at Certified Restoration did a great job! They were professional and flexible with my schedule & needs and I'm very pleased with the end result! read more

Even in Michael's response to this review he is lying. I verbally spoke to him about the full scope of the job. I told him that the entire job included the upstairs, he agreed, and now he is lying by saying we only wanted what was in the photos. That's categorically false. I verbalized that I did not have access to take pictures but we did indeed want that included. He still did not address the fact that they took the money and ran without us inspecting the job even though two of us asked to check the work when they were done. Now he's saying "contact me to discuss" but that's what we've been trying to do and he doesn't respond! His response was to appear helpful/responsive to those reading these reviews but don't believe it folks- he's not! read more

Had a drain blockage that caused water damage to my condo. Bryan, Adan, Tomas, and Luis were professional, responsive, and helped bring a little calm to a really stressful situation. Extra kudos to Bryan-- he was here every day and connected before arriving so I had an ETA on when to expect a crew. This is really important to me from any service provider. Playing the waiting game is an inconvenience for anyone and can set the tone for the rest of your day. Bryan touched base at the start and end of each day, and checked in throughout. He really kept things moving along. Still a long way to go until things are back to normal for me, but I appreciate the quick action on cleanup and mitigation and how they helped make things feel more manageable. Thank you Certified Restoration team! read more

Bryan and Isaiah with Certified Restoration were absolutely the best! They came so quickly after being called and had our drying setup completed in record time. I cannot begin to thank Certified Restoration enough for the diligent help they provided our family and home during a recent flooding and mold issue. Long story short our house is built into a canyon and we flooded from ground water underneath our walls/baseboards during a recent big storm and, unfortunately, this turned into a mold issue. They helped us address both the removal of the flooded material and the cleaning of the mold in our entire home and did a fantastic job. Tyler, Tad and Tomas were our go to contacts throughout the entire process and each was responsive, kind and went out of their way to help. To say the least having mold in our home with a toddler was quite a stressful situation. Every time I spoke with one of our contacts they really took the time to listen to me and my specific concerns about our unique house (part built in 1915 and part in 2015) and situation. When I needed to schedule the next steps with them as we worked our way through everything, they were able to accommodate us in no time at all. I'm happy to say that we are back in our home and feel safe and confident that the mold is gone, and our house has been cleaned top to bottom. I'm truly grateful that during a terrible situation we were able to work with such a great group of people. read more

Excellent experience with this company. I had a leak in my home that started from the 2nd floor shower valve and seeped down into multiple areas of the house. My insurance rep sent Tyler to evaluate the damage. Tyler called first and arrived quickly. He was very knowledgeable, got to work immediately, treated my family's needs and night shift schedule with respect. He was communicative, punctual, and dependable. The affected areas were dry as anticipated and his crew removed the equipment promptly. I highly recommend this company if you are looking for a dependable, competent and excellent experience! My condo had a random leak issue last week and the moment the Certified Restoration team got to our home there was an immediate relief of stress! Tad was an amazing coordinator - he helped determine the leak origin and was able to recommend an amazing contractor to assist with repairing damages. Tyler and David was such an amazing tag team to have working in our home. They were both extremely informative throughout the entire process and cleaned up after themselves so well. If it wasn't for all the necessary professional grade equipment left in our home, we would have forget they were there! I can't recommend them enough. Huge thanks to Tad, David & Tyler!! read more

We experienced a leak in our roof after this past Monday's heavy rain. The CR crew was very responsive and came out the following day to assess the situation and immediately started to provide solutions. Tomas came today to perform the demo and initiate the cleaning and drying of the impacted areas. Tomas' work was superb! The containment areas were well sealed and he even went so far as to make sure no spec of dust was left behind even after demo-ing a large part of the ceiling in our nursery. He was incredibly pleasant to work with and explained the process at each step of the way. You can tell that he really takes pride in his work. Thank you Tomas! read more

This is a great company. Tad and Jesus were top notch at assessing the problem (leak from fridge to lower basement), communicating options, and working with us to restore only what was needed. Great value. I'd highly recommend Certified Restoration. read more

Reached out to the company during the labor day weekend. Owner Michael went to my house and assess the damage in my house. I was expecting a costly inspection since it was a long weekend. But to my surprise he went out and do inspection free of charge telling me the best way to approach to repair the damage. He is a busy man being the owner and on a long weekend he spent his time to gave his professional opinion. Best part was he didn't even charge. Highly recommend this company and being an owner going out himself says something about the company. Not your typical boss who stay behind the table. read more

I gotta say, these guys are angels from above. Even though I had a very small job to clean my carpet and 2 couches within a short period of time, they still came through and handled my cleaning thoroughly and professionally. They normally do bigger jobs but they proved they care about all their customers and I highly recommend this company if you need any type of restoration or deep cleaning. They were even kind enough to leave me an extra cleaning vacuum free of charge for me to do some additional deep cleaning which was super appreciated. Don't hesitate to give these wonderful professionals to get the job done thoroughly and efficiently. read more

Tad and Tyler responded to my condo for a water leak coming from the unit upstairs. They set things up efficiently, explained the process clearly, and checked in with me every day to provide updates on their progress and the next steps. I wish every business employed this sort of communication strategy. They handled my unit and my property with care, and left it as tidy as possible when they were done. Amazing experience during a horrible time. They were the easiest and least stressful part of this whole thing, and I can't thank them enough. read more

I was sitting on my living room floor watching a movie in the dark and I felt something wet on the rug, I thought my girlfriend spilled a drink..she said she didn't...hmmmm. Couple minutes later I'm sitting in a puddle, I jump up and realize my living room is flooding. Next thing I know carpets ruined, walls are wet and starting to mold...best decision I made after that was calling Certified Restoration, they came over right away and accessed the damage, gave me a fair quote and we agreed for them to start the next day. My living room Looks like it never happened and I got brand new carpet. Call them now if you need it you won't regret it... read more

Great company. I called them to investigate a musty smell in a little used bathroom. Arrived on time and Jesus did a thorough inspection, reporting a low water level in toilet which was causing moldy buildup inside bowl. He cleaned and deodorized the toilet and checked bathtub. There is carpet in the bathroom but he found no dampness. There was no attempt to sell me unnecessary work. He was extremely nice, pleasant and helpful. The person who answered my initial call was also extremely pleasant and helpful. I recommend calling them if you have any water damage or mold issues in your home or office. read more

I can't say enough about this company! We had a major flood 5 days before house guests were due to arrive for our son's wedding. Tad was at our house within hours, was very reassuring, and worked hard with his team to dry out our downstairs and reset our furniture in time for our guests to arrive. Tad, Tomas and all their crew were so professional - responsive, prompt, thorough, polite - and they left the space as clean as possible when they were done. Tad even came back to walk the space with our insurance adjuster and point out damage that may not have been obvious. They go above and beyond and I strongly recommend them! read more

A condo in Rancho Bernardo made me the owner of a hidden, unexpected, and extensive water leak just last week! My HOA recommended Certified Restoration as a fair, highly responsive, and no non-sense water mitigation service provider who will NOT take me for a ride in an emergency (bad bad experience with other water mitigation companies in the years past). I trusted the HOA, called CR, and a responsive, highly professional, and bright young man by the name of Tyler White showed up exactly at the appointment time! I will not bore you with the details. What I will share is that he is on top of his craft, extremely well behaved, patient, caring, and SMART. Not only he did his job perfectly but also he narrow down the detection down to an area where the plumber found the leak within 2 hours and fixed it. Tyler's teammate or supervisor Tad (not sure), came the next day, and he too turned out to be a gem! Thank you both for making a "life happens" event so much easier to handle. I definitely recommend you two and CR. Thanks gents. read more

Certified restoration was a godsend. It is stressful enough having your house flood. They came within hours of me calling to start the drying out process with huge fans and dehumidifiers. This saved the walls from further damage. Michael helped me on deciding whether or not to put in an insurance claim. Because I was not sure. When it came time, he took all the necessary photos and videos for the adjuster. In addition, he had an in house estimator because I wanted to use my own contractor for the reconstruction. This made the claims process super quick and easy. Even the adjuster complimented certified restoration on their documentation and detailed estimate for reconstruction. These folks know their work inside and out and are 100% trustworthy. read more

I own a 1st floor condo in a 1970's 3 story building and have suffered several floods...Certified Restoration has been wonderful each time I find myself in this unfortunate situation. I like to give a specific shout out to Tad, who helped me manage the process. Tad, was professional and kind during a stressful time. He educated me about how to work with my insurance, options to mitigate costs and he worked well with the other trades people that I needed to coordinate with to restore my condo. Tad made recommendations of other service providers and each of them where equally pleasant to work with during an unpleasant situation. I hope I don't need these services again, but if I do I will call them again AND if you are reading this because your home suffered water damage, give yourself some peace of mind and hire Certified Restoration. read more

I recently bought a condo and on day 2 of living in it, my husband noticed a leak coming from the ceiling right above where our bathtub and shower is. I was horrified! No one wants a leak in their new home they purchased. I called my insurance at the advice of my realtor and they sent out Certified Restoration the same day. Tyler was my technician and he was not only prompt but professional and informative on what he would be doing to help me with this inconvenient leak. He immediately took action and set up a drying system and scheduled the asbestos service the following day. Then on the 3rd day he was able to come back and open up my ceiling to see what the issue could be. He referred me to a Plumber and assured me that the damage wasn't too great. I was relieved when later that day the plumber came out and fixed my leak within 20 min for under $200! I almost cried lol I was so happy. Overall my experience with Tyler and Tomas has been amazing. These guys went above and beyond to help me. I would highly recommend this company. Thanks guys!! read more
