I did on Monday 8/17/26, I was informed the service charge would be $110.00 and needed to be paid to confirm the appointment (9am to 1pm window on Saturday 8/22/26). Also was told the service tech would call 30 minutes before arriving. At 1pm no call or show. I called them at 1:15 and was told they did not have an appointment for me or my address, asked when I made the appointment, I told her it was made on Monday 8/17/26. The women said well our system has been down since Wednesday, but we can reschedule for next Monday. I told her that was unacceptable that I will on vacation for the next 3 weeks. I told her I already paid for the service call and even gave her the bank info., and she seemed to have found the charge. Was put on hold and she came back telling me a service tech would be out between 6 and 7pm today 8/22/26. I would receive a call from the tech 30 minutes prior to coming. I called at 6:30 and they were closed. GUESS WHAT! AGAIN a NO SHOW and NO CALL. They have my money (for now, I filed a dispute with my credit card), thank GOD I didn't put it on my Debit card. I'd be out the $110.00 for NO SERVICE and RUDE customer service personnel. I understand computers go down, but really a small company like them and they don't even keep paperwork (like service order tickets on paper). I work for a multinational corporation and even we keep service orders on paper and on the computer for just this reason. When their system went down, the first thing they should have done was look online at their banking history and see who had service charges paid, It would give them the names of WHO paid and then they could have done a call back (most names have phone numbers listed for them) to see when their appointments were for. INSTEAD they called NO ONE to see if appointments were scheduled. I know that is a lot of work, but to keep your business running without angering your clients, that's what a dependable company would do. Better yet don't COMPLETELY rely on computers or the internet, keep a service order/appointment list IN PAPER. SMH what is this world coming too, such lazy people and companies. It all falls back on the person needing the services. Before closing for the day, you should have reached out to make sure your service techs were going to be able to get to appointments for the day, ESPECIALLY since you knew there was issues with appointments. Now I'll be worrying about my refrigerator, it is just the ice maker or is it something bigger while I'm on a very needed vacation. Plus, the Downey store is within walking distance to my home (across the street literally). Johnnie's Appliance - SHAME ON YOU

WARNING!!! This guy, Oscar, is a fraud and a crook. I've never reviewed anything in my life, and I felt like it was my responsibility to warn others. I purchased a washer and dryer from him. His employees hooked it up violating four different codes, which led to a massive gas leak in our home. We had to have our gas company come out for emergency service. They said they've never seen anyone hook up gas so irresponsibly. When I called Oscar to pass along the gas company charge to him, he said, "tough luck." Two weeks after purchase, the washer broke down. As we were given a 90-day warranty, Oscar had his repair guy come out. His repair guy, who is an independent third party, told me that Oscar sells products he knows will not work. To him, it is worth it to have to make a repair or two during the 90-day warranty period. Well, wouldn't you know it, on day 94, the washer malfunctioned for the same exact reason. When I called Oscar, he said "tough luck, the warranty has expired." I let him know it was the same issue that wasn't resolved within the warranty period. Again, Oscar said, "tough luck." After a few exchanges and offering him to do the right thing the easy way, he responded with, "This is your problem now, and if you don't like it, you can come down here and we can settle it... and I'll kick your ass." This guy is human scum who has made his pathetic living by scamming people. I PROMISE YOU... if you buy something from him you will be sorry. read more

I found Oscar and his store on OfferUp. Initially someone bought the refrigerator that we were interested in before we could get to his store. He reached out to us the very next day, saying that he got another one in. Unfortunately, we had decided to go with another place the previous evening, because we really needed a refrigerator. The refrigerator from the other store turned out to be a complete disaster: not getting cold, leaking and had roaches. It had to go immediately! Again I went to OfferUp to see what Oscar had in stock. Not only did he have the same refrigerator we initially wanted he offered to hold it for us until we could make it after work. We made it there. His shop is wonderful. It's neat, clean and had a good selection of new appliances. The refrigerator we chose was brand new with only a slight dent at the bottom. The price was 385.00. Fantastic. He was so helpful. He arranged everything, promised to have it delivered and hooked up by 10:00am the next morning. He was a man of his word! By 10:00 am I received pictures of it in my kitchen. His communication, genuine interest to help us, and his service will keep us coming back for any future appliance needs. I will also recommend him to anyone searching for new appliances and a great deal. His kindness was greatly appreciated. He is definitely about his business!!! read more

What can be said other than they are the best in the business . My refrigerator went out at Christmas. I couldn't find anyone to come and give me a bid until after January 1st. Oscar was recommended by a friend. I went to Bellflower, selected a "new" out of the box fridge. Oscar came at 9:15 at night to accommodate me. He did not charge a delivery fee or charge me to take my old one away. He was so neat and clean and respectful. He was careful not to touch my walls in a very tight hallway. My new refrigerator was less than half if I had gone to Sears. If you need a new appliance or have yours repaired, call Oscar. You will never find a more honest company. Oscar told me to call if there was a problem and if at "any time" I was unhappy, I would get a new refrigerator including beyond the warranty. I can't praise or recommend Full House or Oscar enough. It rare to find someone honest and reliable. Forget Sears, Costco, Sam's Club, Walmart or KMart. Take a ride to Bellflower to visit Full House Appliances. read more

Full House Appliances is the go to store if you're looking for quality used appliances. Oscar gave the wife and I an education on front loader and top loader washers and dryers when we stopped by the store. I'm all about information. He took his time and walked us through the benefits of both. We bought a nice Kenmore front loading washer and dryer. They were delivered to our house ON TIME. Oscar showed us how to use it and gave smart advice on how to make the machines last. When we had a small issue with the washer, he honored the warranty and came out ON TIME and fixed it. He also explained what the problem was (once again, I like info). He knows his machines. And he really seems to enjoy doing what he does. Customer service is also huge with me. Full House Appliances has excellent customer service (something rare nowadays!). In the future, I will go to them first when looking for appliances. read more

Close to my house bought a refrigerator a while back. Perfect! Brought it right over and hooked it up. Outstanding customer service and a great price so when I wanted to upgrade my stove I went right back over there. I told them what I was looking for and that I do a lot of cooking. I got hooked up with a five burner stove from whirlpool that rocks. They installed it, leveled it and I was using it in no time. This place reminds me of old school hospitality and friendly service that you almost never see anymore. Very seldom am I impressed when I go to buy something anymore but my experience with these guys was so positive I had to come out here and encourage everyone to stop by and check out fridges, stoves, washers etc. there is no hard sell and if they don't have what you want they won't pressure you into buying something else. Unbelievable!?!!! This business motivated me to join Yelp just so I could write a review about this place and hopefully WARN anyone and everyone to NOT DO BUSINESS WITH OSCAR OR HIS BROTHER RUBEN!! I bought a fridge. I took it home and the ice maker didn't work. they have a 30 day warranty. I called to have it fixed. they told me what parts to buy and fix it myself. He said, it's really easy. come to the shop and I'll show you how to fix it. wth!??!!!???!!! since when did a 30 day warranty mean that the customers get to fix the item themselves??? read more

That's exactly what happened to me at Pro Appliance in Buena Park. I was simply driving by when I noticed the store and decided to walk in. I had no expectations at all. Within minutes, I realized I had found something special. The store was spotless, organized, and full of quality appliances, but what truly made my visit unforgettable was Christina. From the very first moment, she welcomed me with a smile and treated me with so much kindness and respect that I honestly felt like I was visiting family instead of shopping in a store. She took the time to answer all of my questions, never rushed me, and made sure I found exactly what I needed. Thanks to her, I purchased a beautiful 10-cubic-foot refrigerator in excellent, like-new condition for only $150. I returned today to pick it up, and everything was exactly as promised. In today's world, it's becoming harder to find businesses that genuinely care about people instead of just making a sale. Christina reminded me that exceptional customer service, honesty, and integrity are still alive. That meant more to me than she probably realizes. This is a genuine review from my heart. No one asked me to write it. I simply believe that wonderful people and honest businesses deserve to be recognized and supported. I want everyone to know what happened. THE LISTING: On Facebook Marketplace, seller name "Jose · Whirlpool 24" stackable" with a rating of 4.7 stars (12 reviews), joined Facebook in 2023. The listing is: $489 - Whirlpool 24" stackable washer/dryer. The profile picture shows the stacked unit in a warehouse full of appliances. HOW THE CONVERSATION STARTED - 9:37 AM: I sent the first message very politely: "Hello, is this still available? Is 24 in width and dryer gas?" Jose replied: "yes" "where do you live" "we can deliver and install" Then I asked about warranty and if he would take my old GE washer in exchange. My GE washer was bought brand new a few years ago but it doesn't drain properly. He said he would give me $50 off if I give him my old washer. So the math was: $489 - $50 = $439 for the machine + $80 for delivery and installation = $519 total, and he said he can deliver today. I tried to negotiate like any normal customer. I asked if he could do $400 total. He replied: "i cant, i do 440, last price". That means I will pay for his machine $440 + my old GE with washer does not drain off water and dryer still working perfectly. I AGREED to $440. I said okay. Then I asked if he could ship it to my nail shop at Den Lux, and I asked for his store address because I wanted to come and see it first before buying. I asked: "Are you open today? I can drive by to see it first." He replied: "yes you can come and take a look" He gave me the address: Vholic Appliances 1620 W 5th St Santa Ana 92703. Looking for Jose. I then asked: "What is your name pls" - He said: "Tim, the manager" Then I asked: "You only have this one in your store?" THE DISCRIMINATION STARTED - 2:04 PM - 2:05 PM: Instead of answering my question about inventory, he started asking about my ethnicity: "are you viet? vietnames? seem like asian? im vietnamese as well" I simply replied: "Yes." - because I am Vietnamese. Right after I said Yes, his attitude changed 180 degrees. He immediately started insulting me: "but your talking is trash, you dont need to come" I was shocked and said: "Oh what are u talking about" He said: "we dont like you" I said: "I didn't say anything rude but you are" Then he continued insulting: "since your way talking is too cheap and arrogant, keep your money and buy new please" THE TRUTH: I NEVER went to his store. I only chatted online. I NEVER was rude. I only asked normal questions: Is it available? Is it gas? Do you deliver? Do you take my old washer? Can I come see it? I negotiated the price from $489 to $440. That is NORMAL on Marketplace. He agreed to $440 himself. He is the one who brought up race. He asked if I am Vietnamese, said he is Vietnamese as well, then attacked me after I confirmed I am Vietnamese. He called me "trash", "cheap", "arrogant" and told me not to come to his store and to keep my money. This is a Vietnamese business owner discriminating against a Vietnamese customer. He asks your ethnicity and if you are Vietnamese, he insults you. He has 4.7 stars but his customer service is 0 stars. If you negotiate, he will call you cheap and arrogant. If you are Asian/Vietnamese, be very careful. I have saved all 4 screenshots with timestamps as evidence. I will report this seller to Facebook Marketplace for harassment and discrimination. I agreed and asked his address location to take a look first. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE. There are many other appliance stores in Santa Ana and Westminster who are polite and professional. Save your money and go somewhere else. 0 STAR IS TOO MUCH FOR THIS ATTITUDE

It left me feeling completely comfortable after the question I had the I could be confident in his ability to help with my situation. I had two industrial vacuum that both needed new intake fans and he let me know he already had the parts in stock. So I show up and this place is a little on the small side but I could see he had the place packed. It was clean and organized the quote he gave me was really reasonable. I dropped my two vacuums off and he told me a day or two that was awesome. I got a call the next day not even twenty four hours and he had both my machines up and running better than when the came from the box . The owner is awesome and funny by all means. Thanks so much Ash I'll definitely be using your service from here on. Keep up the good work and sense of humor.
