The latest was this weekend for my Viking refrigerator when it stopped working. I was able to get an appointment on Friday night for them to come out Saturday. Of course they didn't have the part but then again I don't expect them to have every single part for every fridge model on their truck or in their office. The part came in the day after the holiday and they installed it the same day. Hopefully, the fridge works for at least a few more years. No issues with the tech that came out nor any issues with their scheduling. I would use them again.

I called to request service. After asking questions about the problem and the age and brand of the…read morerefrigerator, Alex suggested that, more than likely, I need a new fridge. I asked if he could come out and he said there would be a service call charge. I said no problem. After inspecting it and performing diagnostics tests on it, he came up with the same conclusion. It would be less expensive for me to purchase a new refrigerator rather than find the necessary parts and have them installed. He said even with the installation of new parts, I will still be dealing with an old compressor that might be leaking refrigerant and could go out at anytime. He said adding the price of a new compressor would be a lot more than buying a new refrigerator. So, I thanked him for his honest opinion and settled on the service call.
