I strolled into Valenzeula's Appliance on a Friday at around 5pm (they close at 6). Spoke some of my broken Spanish to the dude who was working there and saw an optimal replacement machine. We set up a delivery for the next day. Within one day they came and delivered it to my upper floor apartment, made sure that it was connected and functioning and also took the old machine away. Had a mixed experience with Victor, the first time was fine replacing a dryer roller. This recent…read moretime they charged $230 to supposedly repair a thermostat issue, that ended up being a misdiagnosis and was not the actual issue. I ended up having to clean a dirty sensor myself with a screwdriver, a rubbing alcohol wipe, a vacuum and a YouTube tutorial. Victors "solution" was to bypass the sensor by forcing the machine into timed dry mode which bypasses the sensor, not exactly a proper fix for the issue. My dryer has ten sensor dry settings that become useless with Victor's "fix", only two actual dry settings would be usable. The timed dry forced it into the highest heat setting also which ended up burning my son's plush stuffies, the sensor dry option would have better regulated the temperature. Don't think I'll be using Victor's repair in the future. Discovered after they left that they broke off a piece of the baseboard molding, forgot to re-install the lint screen and left a puddle of dish soap all over the floor after they used it to slide the stackable washer/dryer combo out. Not exactly the best experience this last time, best of luck if you decide to use them, it's a mixed bag of results.
