I needed the dryer repaired. I called Friday afternoon and they made an appointment for Monday. They charge a service call but it goes toward the repair. The tech, Mo, was on time, checked it out and told me it needed a part. The part came in as promised and he came back on Friday and finished the job. I like that Shay in the office texts all the info, sets up the appts and anything else. I think the price was fair too. read more

Mo was great. He kept updated and explained things so I understood everything. He worked hard to find what was going on with my fridge. I thank him so much. You'd be lucky to have him as your repairman. read more

This is our first experience with this company. Mo was amazing, taking plenty of time to diagnose/trouble shoot and repair our dishwasher and cooktop. Mo was courteous and pleasant, texting ahead of his scheduled times to advise of early arrivals or delaays. Shay on the phone was pleasant and proficient. I highly recommend this company for appliance repair read more

Mo came today to fix my Bosch oven igniter and did a great job. The team had already answered my questions and ordered the part ahead of time so he was able to get it diagnosed and repaired right away. I really appreciated when Mo texted to let me know he was going to come at the end of the arrival window. He explained everything about my oven to me really well and even showed me how the door comes off. I would recommend Don's appliances to anyone in the Long Beach area because they were courteous and professional. Now my oven is fixed ahead of the holiday season and I have a year warranty for piece of mind as well. read more

We've used Don's Appliances for years, and every technician we've had has been kind, and informative. Today Mo came to take a look at our dryer and freezer. He took everything apart and showed me or took pictures of the before and after. He was quick, efficient, and polite, and kept everything clean. I especially appreciate him taking the time to show me how to maintain things myself so as to reduce further issues/ calls. read more

My father needed his dryer repaired and a friend of mine had used Don's Appliances in the past and had been very happy with them. I called and spoke with Shay. We scheduled a day for their technician to come out. Mo was on time and very professional. He needed to get a part and came back the next day. Both Mo and Shay were informative about the cost, and the work that needed to be done. I would highly recommend Don's Appliances to my friends and family. read more

Don's has been my appliance go-to since I bought my house in 2013. I appreciate their honesty when I tried to have a washer repaired that wasn't a great financial decision. Most recently, Josh repaired our dishwasher when it just stopped working a few months into having it. He was professional and got the job done quickly. He and Shay are both great communicators and I appreciate their transparency on pricing. Thank you! read more

My GE refrigerator water dispenser was not working. After a tech from another company came out and claimed my expensive 12 year old refrigerator was "not serviceable", and charged me $145 for the bad news, I called Dons. The tech came out (named Mo) and it was fixed within 2.5 hours. Thank you so much Mo! read more

Shay helped organize oir appointment and was super professional. Josh came to our home and helped us with both our washer and dryer. The washer wasn't worth repairing unfortunately, but our dryer was serviced and Josh goes the extra mile. He is very informative and honest. We appreciate the time he took to help us out. I would call on this business again if and when needed. Don't hesitate to book an appointment if needed, they are definitely fair. Thanks again! read more

We were having an issue with our oven not heating. We called Don's Appliances in Long Beach and Josh(B) came out the following day. He diagnosed the issue and put in a new ignitor that he had on his truck. Oven heated right up but Josh didn't like the way the part fit so he ordered an actual LG part. He returned the following week once the part came in. We truly appreciated him keeping in touch with us through the entire process. A lot of repair techs would have just left the part in and collected payment. Josh showed honesty and professionalism. read more

I don't write a lot of reviews, but I felt compelled to write this. Don's Appliances was recommended by a friend. I have now used them twice and both times were great! The first time Josh repaired my gas stove. The second time Mo repaired my dryer. With the cost of appliances these days who wants to buy new if you don't have to? The cost was very reasonable, the communication all throughout the process was great (especially with updated texts with etas for arrival), the service window was 2 hour, both times they were able to fit me in quickly, and both gentlemen seemed very knowledgeable/efficient about their craft. I would absolutely use them again to repair any appliances I have. read more

Anthony came out to service our freezer which had stopped working. It was a fuse that needed to be replaced. Anthony was great, highly recommend him and Don's Appliance. Mo came by to fix our fridge. It had a foul odor from some spilled milk that was stuck in the drain pan. It was gnarly. Mo jumped right in, starting taking things apart and scrubbed and sucked all the gunk out. It's probably not the "repair" job he was expecting, but he was so thorough, I had to leave an amazing review. He only charged us a standard service fee, which didn't feel like enough for the elbow grease that was spent. Thanks, Mo, and thanks Don's Appliance. You have a customer for life. read more

Great service; prompt, friendly and cost effective. Technician did not pressure us at all and in fact was very honest about what we needed.

Called on Tuesday because our refrigerator stop working, the young lady who answered the phone remembered us from having previous work done. She sent the same repair person (Josh) and he came and diagnosed the problem right away. He even took the time to install the part after it was late getting delivered. It's always nice to be treated like an individual rather than a customer. read more

We had an issue with our dryer not drying anymore. Called Don's Appliances and made an appointment. They were on time and Mo, their technician, diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed it. He was highly knowledgeable and gave us some good tips. We highly recommend Don's appliances. read more

We had a great experience with Don's Appliances. They came out to repair a stacked dryer that fits in a very tight space. It took quite a bit of maneuvering and two people to get the job done. The dryer is working great! We also had them look at an issue with our refrigerator ice maker and water dispenser and that turned out to be a complicated set of fixes. Given that it's already 6 years old, we decided to use a Brita filter pitcher instead. Anthony did quite a bit of research about the issues after the visit and advised us of the options. All in all, we were satisfied with the service provided. We would definitely hire Don's Appliances again. read more

Reached out Tuesday night about my dryer not heating, they responded first thing in the morning Wednesday and scheduled an appointment for the next day. Mo came out on time and fixed my dryer within an hour. He explained the issue and the repair in clear detail. He also pointed out some common issues on our washer/dryer to look out for in the future. The price was fair and competitive. Their 5 star rating is absolutely justified. read more

I like giving business to local companies, and I am not here to trash Don's, but I do have one bit of advice, make sure you get your estimate in writing, DO NOT agree to any work without getting it in writing because my experience is that the quote was not what I was billed. Although the difference was not huge for me, it could be for other people. They do good work, show up on time, keep their appointments, but the final bill did not match the quote. However, I do recommend them as a business, just get it in writing. read more

This company is awesome. From the office to the technicians. Very polite and professional. Great communication from all. They get the job done and very personable. They have comparable rates and technicians are clean and neat. Mo can out to service our washer, explained the error codes and was very patient to get our washer working. We will be calling Don's Appliances again if we have any appliance needs in the future. read more

I am joining all the other reviewers in giving Don's Appliances 5 stars. They are awesome! They were responsive and got someone out to look at our outdoor fridge within days. We needed our Professional Frigidaire Oven recalibrated and cleaned up. Josh was our provider. He was professional and let us know what he was going to do and how that would help our range.
