Fulcrum is my go to coffee spot in the neighborhood. I often come here with my laptop to work and it's perfect for that.. there's plenty of seating, good food options and really good coffee drinks. I've never had bad seasonal coffees here. 10/10 for that! The vibe is a typical Seattle coffee shop: most people here are also working or quietly chatting so it's easy to focus. Now the only reason I chopped off one star coz pricing is a bit on the higher end and lately I've noticed the tables are often left dirty and the staff doesn't seem very proactive about cleaning them which takes away from the otherwise satisfactory experience. I guess still for me it's worth coming back!

My friends and I came here on a Saturday afternoon. There was a short line which moved quickly. There are a few choices of signature drinks, and I got the iced pistachio latte (Cream of pistachio). It was creamy with rich pistachio flavor, slightly on the sweeter side. It's a little pricier for the signature drinks but understandable. The place is open and spacious with modern decor. Every table was taken, but it did not feel crammed. It's a great place to come get your quick caffeine fix.

Such a cute coffee shop! I had the ube matcha which was perfectly sweet! Also tried the chocolate chip cookie. I would prefer semi sweet chips but it was still yummy! I also tried a little of the banana special latte, which was also quite good. I'm excited to come back here when I'm in the neighborhood. Could be a great place to bring your laptop and get some work done.

Visiting from out of town and stopped by almost every morning. Loved trying their single origin brews and it came with about two cups worth! It was so good I bought a bag of beans to take home. I also tried their banana latte, perfect on a hot day, and also the sesame latte. Lots of seating indoors and a few two tops out front. Never had to wait long for my drinks

A Hidden Gem That Hits the Spot Came here on a friend's recommendation--and wow, I'm glad I listened. I tried their Pistachio Cream drink (2 shots of espresso), and it was a total winner. The balance was perfect: some sips leaned into the rich espresso, while others let the pistachio cream shine through. Not too overpowering, not too subtle--just right. That kind of flavor harmony is rare. The ambience? Absolutely on point. Chill music, cozy yet modern vibe, and the kind of place where conversations naturally flow. I noticed a few couples on dates and totally understood why--this place has a warm, inviting energy. Definitely a spot to unwind or have meaningful convos. The service was great, on time. Lovely and perfect. I also had the almond croissant. I think it's sourced from a local bakery, but unfortunately, that didn't do it for me. A bit of a miss--dry and not as fresh as I hoped. But honestly, Fulcrum still makes it into my Top 5 coffee spots in the greater Seattle area. Great drinks, beautiful setting, and overall a vibe you'll want to come back for.

First coffee shop in Seattle for the win! I ordered the cortado and the drink is amazing. The espresso is smooth. I just want a big cup of this! Customer service was nice as well and my drink came out quick! Would highly recommend! You also get the drink in a nice cup with a side of sparkling water. If that's not the incentive then I don't know why you're not here!

Absolutely impressed with Fulcrum Cafe's matcha latte which was perfectly balanced and not overly sweet. The ambiance of the café is also memorable. It has a sleek, modern feel with plenty of seating and a calm vibe that makes it perfect for getting work done. The service was great, where the wait was not long at all and the staff were friendly. I'd also note the store offers a great selection of local roasted coffee beans and small bites as well.

Cute little cafe in downtown with great modern ambiance, wifi to work and good coffee. The staff is sweet and pretty accommodating .

I had time to spare, so I popped in here for a coffee and a snack. I ordered the Snuggle Me, Sesame (basically, a black sesame latte with oat milk and brown sugar) and a cardamom bun. The coffee was good, but the bun fell short. It was like the cardamom got lost on its way to the bun. I could see this being a great spot to work for a few hours.

Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and I tried the Oktoberfest latte, which I had made with half the sweetener and oat milk. My total for a 12oz latte came out to be just over $9! Honestly the sticker shock was real when I paid for my drink. I guess the cafe being in SLU makes sense now with the price point lol. My latte also ended up being too sweet, despite the barista making it with half the sugar. My friend's plain vanilla latte was also not filled all the way to the top, so there is an inconsistency with the quantity, and that matters when you get a 12oz drink that is $8-10.

First time visiting the store after passing by this place for so many times! Absolutely love the vibe and interior design! Simple, chic, modern and clean! They have plenty of tables and seats if you plan to stay, work or study for a little, or just hang out with friends. Some interesting selections of drinks and syrups that you don't usually find in other cafes. You order drinks at the counter and serve yourself. After using the table, bus it yourself as well. Price of the coffee is consider within the average in the area. My latte (12oz) with the latte art looks great, milk is creamy and smooth.

Great food, friendly staff plenty of places to work for a couple hours. My only regret is that they didn't have more gluten-free options, but the coconut macaroon that they had was delicious.

I really like the design of the lights here. The business is doing very well, but it's not so crowded that you have to wait in line. You can bring your laptop and work here, and the coffee cups are pretty big -- they even top up your milk for you, haha

You order at the front before being seated which means food arrives shortly after sitting down. With that noted, I wouldn't return to wait that long. First visit, to try a relatively famous spot, sure. Inside is a bit tight, but conversation can be had. My friends got the lumpia-silog and bistek-silog. Lumpia was tasty, but not particularly outstanding. Bistek was dry. The beef was tough to chew, seasoned alright on the outside but likely overcooked if not old. I opted for the oxtail silog which was delicious but pricey. Oxtail Silog - for $29, this plate definitely gets a double take. After waiting in the hour line, I figured I should commit for a tasty meal. Oxtail comes in a side bowl alongside a bit of hearty broth which the rice absorbs well. Meat is tender, falls off the bone, but pulling around oxtail bones isn't the simplest, so definitely have to bite around crevices. All in all, this plate was delicious but think it comes with a huge tourist tax I've had better value for oxtail plates. Ube Pancake Stack - four sizeable pancakes. Some pictures, including my own, don't do these justice. I can definitely get behind the hype. They're drenched in a rich ube sauce and there's plenty to go around. Honestly the ube flavor is present on the pancakes, but it feels relatively faint because the sauce is extremely sweet and flavorful, minimizing the pancake taste and expanding the gap between flavors. That being said, I think I would enjoy the pancakes with less sauce (or preferably, on the side).

They served the coffees with a little shortbread cookie, and these little details really elevated the whole experience. Also, the cappuccino was so foamy, and it hit the spot immediately. The breakfast menu was also fantastic. The TPC Breakfast plate included sausage, potatoes, bacon, bread, and some scrambled eggs. There also was an option to add Beecher's cheese on the eggs, and I'd say it was totally worth it. Most importantly, the Dutch baby was as good as they'd advertised. It comes out on a piping hot skillet which kept the dessert warm till the end of the meal. The service was very quick even though they were entirely booked out for the time we were there for. I appreciated the patience from the servers and their helpful directions in picking the menu items. I will warn you that we had to reserve our spot months in advance. This is probably because the restaurant is great but pretty limited in seating space. However, it was definitely worth the wait, so don't be discouraged.
