Stopped by this spot on a Saturday night and had the best time! The sushi rolls were absolutely delicious and there was such a wide variety. The white peach sake margarita alone is worthy of five stars. We were seated right away and taken care of immediately. We loved everything we ordered. Erica our server was AMAZING. Her support staff of Mint and Jacques were also so very helpful. Erica made wonder appetizer and drink recommendations which we got (two large bottles of saki and $1 beers). And she made a suggestion for the DYNAMITE baked lobster roll which we devoured. MY favorite two dishes were the fresh Salmon Carpaccio and the Lemon Roll. I could of kept ordering both and I am craving them now as I write this. The mixed tempura has a great crunch too so yummy. the food is amazing. the sushi is always such a delight to eat and the chicken teriyaki is amazing as well. the restaurant itself is nice and overall the decoration goes with the mellow vibe they want to give off. my only concern is that our server was not attentive to myself and my family. i understand on weekends it gets busy but to see her check in on her other tables and not ours did not feel very welcoming. she messed up our drinks and when we told her all she said, "okay so you don't want these, nice." & never came back to replace them for us. we ordered off the kids menu and she did not bring us the drinks the kids menu came with. we had to flag other waiters down & in the end the kids menu comes with "ice cream" , yeah we didn't receive that either. she also had marked us down for 4 drinks total we had only gotten one and the rest water. read more

I've been to FUJIYA twice and they haven't disappoint. I ordered for takeout both times and were on time. food was amazing and so neat. I like this place... quality fish with added touches like a brush of sauce and toppings on nigiri! Their premium fish is the best and well priced. Solid 4 plus - overall. Ordered the lemon roll (big fan) but please remove lemon seeds from the small lemon pieces on the roll. Sushi should be ready to eat-removing a seeds- not cool. Side lemon wedges will have them-I understand. Big fan of their Japanese pitchers of beer with 4-5 brands. Thanks. Been 3-4 times and has been solid. Amazing sushi and food, prices are excellent and quality of food is great! Me and my wife came here on a Saturday night for our anniversary and loved the theme inside the restaurant. We had a good experience until the end. We asked our waiter if we could get a refill on my sprite and she said that she had shut off machines which I understand because they were close to closing so it was understandable that they have shut off soda machines but if customers are still eating than I assume service should still be open. It was made up at the end by another waiter or manager that over heard the conversation and he was nice enough to bring me a can soda sprite for the go. I would come back or recommend. read more

My boyfriend and I came here before picking up a friend from the airport and it did not disappoint! The vibe of the restaurant is awesome - they plan fun music in the background and the service is great. It seems like they have a rotating style of servers, so we were helped by a few different people during our visit. All of them were very friendly and helpful :) We got: - Toro Nigiri (2 pc): this was pretty good, but I have to admit, I'm not huge on nigiri. Personally, I'd probably rather just have an additional roll, but the fatty tuna tasted pretty good/fresh - Shiso Halibut Roll: this one looked good so we decided to try. The shiso leaf wasn't our favorite, but it's definitely more interesting than other rolls I've tried. The shiso leaf flavor kinda reminded me of the perilla leaf flavor (kinda minty with an additional little herbal flavor). - Shrimp Tempura Roll - I really liked this one, but tempura always tastes good, IMO :) - Red Dragon Roll - this one was also really good! The jalapeno added a nice kick They also have some type of special wasabi that they offer. We didn't realize that it was different than the wasabi that they typically provide and that it would cost extra, because our server just asked us "if we wanted wasabi". It's not a huge deal and just a few additional bucks, but it probably doesn't hurt to clarify with your server if that's something you care about. read more

Came here on a Wednesday evening and was able to walk right in. The staff seem to really like their jobs and were very friendly and upbeat. Got the salmon and albacore sushi, a spicy salmon handroll, the Hot Night roll and the Baked Scallop Roll. The sushi was very good, but I will say the dinner chicken teriyaki bento was a really great bang for your buck -- and it was delicious! It comes with miso soup, salad, rice, gyoza and chicken teriyaki. The music and vibes were super fun. The decor is pretty trendy, with TVs along the walls, but it's not distracting. I didn't partake in adult beverages this time, but this seems like a good place to do so. The staff was really friendly wonderful -- friendly and attentive. Will definitely be coming back! read more

Sloppy work they forgot our rice and miso soup and still charged us for it. A couple drinks took forever. They forgot happy hour price on bill. Like seriously every small thing was a struggle. My friend is Japanese and she wasn't a fan of their sushi. Pretty Americanized. Like way too much crab in their crunch roll. Huge pieces. Their veggie roll has lettuce in it. Like what? Like a big bit of lettuce though. Even our server was like yeah there shouldn't be lettuce in there. Their happy hour menu isn't great nor that much off. I guess for beer and hot sake it's good. Their yaki-Udon was pretty good. I hate to post negative reviews but it seems like a fun place with potential. Just fix all the rolls. And give the servers sections so they can focus. read more

A sushi place with great value! The sunshine roll was delicious with the salmon on top of the roll and lots of spicy tuna inside. There is no rice in the keto rolls for obvious reasons, however I did end up ordering sushi rice on the side so I ate this in a more deconstructed sushi type of way. Paired with ginger soaked in soy sauce and the spicy mayo, it was exactly what we wanted! We also ordered beer with our meals. Parking is slightly limited but all we had to do is circle the block to find parking. It was my first time in downtown Burbank and it was a great find! read more

This place was highly recommended by a number of coworkers. I'm not sure what they see in it. About the only thing going for this restaurant is a nice location and facility. I ordered a lunch special of teriyaki beef and a spicy tuna tempura roll. The miso soup, part of the lunch special, tasted of nothing. It was basically hot water. The teriyaki sauce was a nice flavor but the beef was tough. Probably overcooked. The spicy tuna tempura roll was very dry and the rice was chewy. Likely overcooked as well. The tuna filling was a bit like sawdust. Not enough mayo or binder to keep it light. I might go again for cocktail hour as it was a nice ambiance, but I'll avoid the food. read more

So i asked my waitress twice if the Alaskan roll has real sushi and her answer was yes. So I ordered two of them. When I 1st bit into the roll I could taste it was not real crab. If was very mayo tasting and pasty. So come to find d out from the waiter later that is was fake crab meat used in Ca rolls. Rather than the waiter making a new roll or even taking it off the bill did nothing about it. I barely touched it and it tasted horrible. Had a great Saturday afternoon lunch here this past weekend with a friend. Appreciated I could make reservation online in advance! Crispy rice spicy tuna was delish, yellowtail and salmon nigiri sushi was fresh, heavenly keto roll was interesting and tasty, asparagus rolls is great green side choice and affordable! Do not recommend the "sizzling albacore" lol I imagined a hot stone with crispy bits of garlic and fried onion, but NO -- was almost like boiled albacore with room temperature pan sautéed garlic & white onion with a jalapeño slice on top. Just no! Also v unattractive dish lol They also seemed to run out of dishes giving us a plastic ramekin for our soy sauce and I noticed other diners with white paper plates! They do not have small glass beer cups either!! The frosty big mugs are cool but they should have proper beer cups for sharing. Lastly, I was charged for a large hot sake when I never ordered one -- annoying I hate having to call that ish out, but was quickly removed. No frills service, spaced out tables on patio, aligned price point for quality and experience. More like a 3.5/3.75 but 4 will do! I'd return!! read more

I took my mom out to this place since she loves japanese food, the food totally did not disappoint. Although the famous Miso Glazed Salmon, wasn't as good as we thought, I would give it a 5/10. Although you may like it, it's really 50/50 depending on your tastebuds. Takoyaki was amazing! I loved their New York Strip Roll, Blue Fin Tuna sashimi amazing! Although we ordered the fatty tuna, did not taste fresh at all, tasted like it was left over night. Our waitress was really nice but a male waiter with a batman mask was a bit "confuse"? This is my favorite sushi spot! The food is always amazing. Service is always great. Mint is the best! She knows us and knows that we always order a large Kirin light, large hot sake and 2 sides of fresh wasabi. If you haven't ordered fresh wasabi, you should. It's well worth the $2 or $3 charge. Our go to rolls are the lemon roll, dynamite lobster roll and a hlittle albacore delight. We also love the blue fin tuna, fatty tuna, yellowtail, and salmon sushi. read more

We had the bento boxes with the tempura...the beef teriyaki was good and plentiful, but the miso soup had an off flavor and the tempura breading was not crispy or flavorful even with the tempura sauce for dipping...just visiting from NorCal and found this on Yelp with high ratings so decided to try it.....even if you get a lot, the flavor of the food, to me, is tops and this restaurant doesn't cut it for me. read more

My wife had 3 orders of don katsu curry to go. When she got home the curry containers had cracked and leaked curry in the plastic bag they were wrapped in. The problem was definitely how overcooked all the pork was. Not chewy but hard! Like 3 days old hard. Great sushi spot with outdoor seating! It was a heat wave and we were expereincing rolling blacks outs in our neighborhood. It was dinner time and hot as hell and I didn't feel like cooking. So we decided to come here for some sushi and cold Sapporo! Parked on the street as the road was blocked off. We got sat right away, another couple was at a table I'm assuming at least 6 feet away from us. We ordered a seaweed salad, few sashimi and sushi rolls.
