I've ordered the Pho with grilled chicken before and it was really good. My order today was terrible. The chicken was not grilled, it was cold and tasted old and dry. Very disappointing. The curry was good.

The best thing about this restaurant was the service. Our server was very attentive and fast. The food was very average. My meal was served cold and very bland. My husband's food was bland as well. The restaurant looked clean at least. If you're looking for fast food Thai, then this is probably a good option.

Came for a family meal of pho and had a delicious meal. My husband and I both got the brisket pho and enjoyed it; kids loved their chicken and rice meal. The staff was kind and food came out fast despite it being a busy evening. The decor is cute! My only critique was that there were two tvs on with the volume quite loud, which was a bit overwhelming from a sensory perspective. But our waiter muted one of them with no hesitations upon request. I look forward to coming back next time we need a cozy meal.

I was out doing errands and needed some food so I stopped in here to give it a try. It was early evening, so only two other tables eating here. The restaurant was nice and quiet and if you dine in, it's a fast casual place with wait service. Service was quick and friendly! I wanted to eat some veggies so I ordered the papaya salad and as a guilty pleasure, I ordered the truffle fries with homemade jalapeño sauce on the side. Both dishes were great! Papaya salad was well seasoned and the papaya was marinated well. I wasn't expecting to order truffle fries in an Asian spot, but to my surprise, it was very good and the jalapeño sauce was very good and normally I don't like like any kind of white sauces. I have enough also for a snack later back home! Portion size was very good. Food was very good, prices very reasonable, place was quiet and peaceful, staff were really friendly and prompt, bathrooms clean. I will definitely come back to try other items!

Looking for new place to try I came across this place. I thought the name was funny and had good reviews. Restaurant was clean, cozy and fun. I was greater by really friendly waitress with a big smile. Kind of smile that makes you feel like she's been dying for you to come and that she is happy that you made it. The prices on the menu was very reasonable. Not overly priced. Ordered Goi Cuon for starter and decided to try the spicy beef noodle bowl. I must say it was the fattest Goi Cuon I've ever seen at a restaurant and it was one of the better ones I've tried. The spicy beef noodle was a good size. I just wish it had little more noodles. Only complain I have about the dish is that fish sauce was very over powering. I don't know if they accidentally put too much or that's how it comes. I am not the biggest fish sauce fan. But over all broth was nice and clean tasting. Over all both dishes were very yummy. I also noticed the waitress "Dominique" remembered the orders for few of the customers that came in. That is extra TLC you don't see as much anymore. I really liked this place over all service and food was great. I would definitely come back here.. Maybe I'll try the Pho next time.

I had a nice time trying Fu Belly this past weekend. If there's an opportunity to eat some good Asian food, I'm going to take it. The first positive was the panda bears that I saw as part of their branding and decor. I love pandas! Now for the food, we got some spring rolls for an appetizer and they were delicious, fried perfectly, and flavorful. I ended up getting the wonton soup and my boyfriend got the chicken pad Thai. My wonton soup had shrimp wontons that were noticeably more high quality than other varieties I've tried. I loved it. The pad Thai was also more high quality and authentic than some other varieties I've tried in the past. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly! I highly recommend coming here for some food that will leave you wanting more (in my opinion).

This place is absolutely delicious! Everything I've had has been amazing- from their Pho, to their noodle dishes, etc!.. You can tell they use quality ingredients and focus on preparing food with the upmost quality. Veggies are very fresh and have a nice crunch when cooked in a stir fry. Their protein choices are also always cooked to perfection. Service is always great and the staff is always attentive. If you're in the mood for quality Asian, do you yourself a favor and check out Fu Belly!

In the area at nearby Pickle Kingdom, I knew that my family needed to eat before all of us got hangry... I found that Fu Belly was still open and called to order take-out. The staff was super helpful on the phone as I figured out my order of spring rolls with tofu, spring rolls with shrimp, fried rice with chicken and a kids rice bowl with chicken. I picked it up 15 mins later and brought it home... Not only was the meal priced well for what we had, but everyone liked it too! The above fed our family of four and we even had a bit leftover. I will definitely be back as I'd love to try more of the menu and perhaps eat-in as well. The restaurant is more spacious than it appears from the outside parking lot and was super clean. I have to post this for others like myself, who love to eat certain things, ie: appetizers! I have been here twice and will go on record saying these are the best Spring Rolls! There are many choices but the best are there grilled shrimp spring rolls! Soooo good! I also had Crab Rangoon and an order of their Truffle Fries. The fries were good but the Crab Rangoon is seriously another fave. I will be back to try the Pho that everyone gets when they eat here.

Eat here you will not regret it. I honestly wish I could give the 10 stars. This is such an absolutely amazing place. From the food to the staff my experience here definitely falls into my top 5 greatest eating experience ever. The food was on another level of deliciousness. Every bite had me saying "YUMMMMMM". My family had the spicy beef noodle soup, Pho house special, chicken fried rice, egg rolls, and papaya salad. It was all perfectly prepared and delivered quickly. We shared all of the food and we couldn't decide what was better because they all were delicious in their own way. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They made it feel like we were old friends and helped us figure out what would be a good meal. We even got to meet the creator of their papaya salad, lol. I will 100% be returning and anytime I have out of town family or friends come in we will be stopping here for a meal. read more

First visit to Fu Belly, as not often in Chandler. Got a pickup dinner order, the noodle bowl was tasty & the Vietnamese curry was good but not spicy. The rice that came with the curry was above average. Great service at pickup. Give them a try if you're in the area. read more

I ordered take out: spicy beef noodle soup (bun bo hue) and salt & pepper fried tofu. They're a new restaurant. Just opened in September! The menu is all in English, so I was a tiny bit hesitant to get one of my favorite Vietnamese noodle dishes from them. However, I was not disappointed. The meat looked and tasted high quality. The soup was spicier than other Vietnamese places. If you're looking for a traditional bun bo hue, they don't have banana flower, huyet (pig blood), or tendon. But for quick bowl of soup that's spicy and flavorful, you can get it here! (Some context: I'm Viet American) The salt & pepper tofu was my ideal fried tofu. Crispy outside, sooo soft in the inside, and flavor city. The dipping sauce was amazing (savory, citrusy, teeny bit of sweetness). I kept it so I can dip other things in it. This is definitely an order I'll always make when I go here. I don't like tofu in many other ways' The person who took my order was kind and efficient. So my experience with service was very nice too. I would love to go here and sit down to try more! They seem like a Vietnamese flavor city but a teeny bit for the western palate/appetite. If you're debating going here, I hope you give them a try like I did! read more

So this is a new mom and pop shop, they just recently opened and while shopping at the outlets we decided to come here on a whim to try something new. My fiancé and I started with their Thai tea light ice to drink and it was the perfect amount of lightly sweetened tea definitely recommend it two thumbs up. 5/5 For appetizers we started with their salt and pepper fried tofu which was fair to good. We believe the sweet-and-sour would be better and will try that next time. 4/5 Now the wings were as far as I'm concerned the show stopper for appetizers. We tried honey barbecue wings which were just as good as ATL wings in Chandler. Their house special fish sauce wings were outrageously delicious and will be the flavor we choose going forward! 6/5 My fiancé ordered the chef's special, garlic noodles with shrimp sprinkled with Parmesan cheese and she experienced pure bliss. She was raving " The noodles themselves are amazing I'm glad I choose this over stirfried, right amount of sprinkled cheese with perfectly cooked shrimp with this side cup of jalapeño sauce that was delicious paired with the shrimp " as you can see Ladies and Gentlemen I think she liked it. 5/5 I decided to go with the Shaken Beef with white rice, their fish sauce with onions and peppers and just the presentation itself was impressive. My first bite and I was floored, eyes rolling back this is what I'm talking about! 9/5? Obviously my rating system is all kinds of jacked but that's because the food was truly above our expectations which were set a step above average. This place rocks and is a definite try. All in all, this will be our new Vietnamese place to go to and we plan to come back next weekend. read more

Yummy yummy! They're busy and it's definitely for a reason. We ordered the truffle fries, papaya salad, and pho. Were not disappointed! Food was prepared well and tasted fantastic. It tasted great as leftovers the next day as well. Staff is accommodating and very nice as well! read more

First time trying Fu Belly on Ray Rd in Chandler. My whole family was delighted with all the dishes we ordered for carry out. The egg rolls were probably the best I've ever had, and my chicken Pad Thai was delicious. My daughter said the chicken pho was very good, I want to try that next time, and the spring rolls were tasty and filling. My husband has celiac disease and they were able to make his tofu fried rice with gluten free soy sauce which we really appreciated. My son said his Drunken Noodles were some of the best he's had. The place is very clean with tables to eat in house and everyone we dealt with was friendly and helpful. We all agreed we would be going back soon. read more

Been here a few times. So far I've had their pho, chicken rice plate, salt and pepper tofu, and the shaking beef. Very pleased with everything. Service is always welcoming and friendly. Establishment itself is very clean. I've tried a few places for pho and so far this will be my go to as I don't like to add any condiments to my broth. I actually like the taste of the flavors without a whopping ton of msg and like that it's served steamy extra hot. I love that they do serve nuoc beo which is the only other thing I'll add as it's buttery goodness! read more

Great pho! They even have an eastern Vietnamese spicy broth pho and it is hands down the best I've tried. Customer service is usually pretty good and staff is always friendly. Ambience is nice and quiet and just overall very comfortable to dine in. Highly recommend all their items. read more

question of the centur?????? how do you stay in business if you closed at 8pm and your kitchen closes at 7:30pm even on a Friday or Saturday. is not a breakfast restaurant or a coffee shop. I was there at 7:40 and you guys sent me back on a Friday night. that's when people are just starting to go out and eat. good luck but I'm not going back. read more

Man where did the quality go ! I've been coming here for over two years (since they opened). Met the owner and his son when he used to work here several times. Today though will be my last time coming in. The large bowls are now the size of regular bowls but they give the same amount of noodles and meat but short you on the broth. Our rare tender portion would not even cook in this little of broth. The server tried doing what he could by trying to bring a side of broth but even that would not warm up our now cold broth. The spring rolls also had much less meat than they previously had. Sucks when a good restaurant starts cutting corners to maximize profits at the expense of quality. I ended up paying and tipping but was not able to eat any of the pho. Please stop cutting corners and maybe we will try you again one day. read more

Drove 30 minutes to give this random restaurant a try as I had an itch for pho. My expectations were exceeded 100%! The menu has many appealing options and I decided to get the Pho tenders, Bun Bo Hue, and the chicken wings with the AMAZING family recipe house fish sauce (pleasantly surprised with fish sauce wings)! The broth for each soup was incredible! Definitely didn't need any additions, but decided to add the Chile paste as I love spicy foods. One of the best I've ever had. Their Thai Tea was as good as any I've ever had as well. Restaurant I very clean and modern with mixture of traditional artwork and Incredible logo! Even got to watch the football game from my table. The hospitality was out of this world. You would never even know the restaurant opened ONLY ONE WEEK AGO! I am excited to see/hear the success stories of this restaurant! I definitely left with a satisfied and Fu (full) Belly! Will be coming back with friends all the way from Colorado! 10/10 recommending to family and friends! We love the salt & pepper tofu, but it's inconsistent. Today, the onions and peppers were basically raw but warm. Inedible or at least not worth eating when you know how delicious they could be when cooked properly. Service is great though. read more

Shaken beef tenderloin w/ fried rice: The fried rice was amazing and I can't talk enough about the shaken beef tenderloin. The meet was soft and tender, perfectly seasoned and omg the onions, green and red peppers were so crunchy and delicious. The best fried rice and the best beef dish I have ever had! (And I'm from NYC so I have had my fill of amazing Vietnamese food- this place definitely goes up there) Oh we also had the spicy beef pho without the pork. My husband and I are always open to trying new places so we came to Fu Belly. We had previously eaten at a couple of past restaurants in the same location. We started off with the Crab Ragoons. You get 6 per order. Nicely friend and the sweet chili sauce is always a fan favorite. My husband had the Spicy Beef Soup spice level 3 and it was tasty and had good flavor. I had the Vietnamese Curry with Tofu and no spice and found it very flavorful. Would totally come back. read more

The best! We love Vietnamese/Asian cuisine and have created a tradition of eating this for our anniversary. Today was our 39th anniversary and Fu Belly made a great impression on us, even after this many years and restaurant trials. The surroundings were clean and spacious. The service absolutely superb. And the food - most excellent! We had spring rolls, dumplings, a main course, and I had the wonton soup. Portions were American size (not necessarily a compliment, but made for superb take home portions). And the peanut sauce was to die for! Lastly - we have a thing for Vietnamese coffee with cream; it matched anything we have had before. We are repeat customers! read more

Had to try this place. First impression: place smells like crap. Instant gag reflex walking in. then everything went downhill from there. Tea bad. Ice tea bad. Thai ice tea bad. Soups were horrible. Asked for rare steak for kid soup. They put I. Some sort of gelatinous nasty meatball looking thing in there. The meat was riddled with gristle and fat. The broth near flavorless. Service really sucked too. There is no redemption for this place. So many better Pho places in the city!!! read more

Ordered from Uber Eats, but Uber wasn't the problem. Food was overly sweet and tasted like it was made with corn syrup. Pad Thai was disgusting and Crab Rangoons tasted only like scallions. Couldn't taste the crab or even the cream cheese. Honestly the grossest Thai I've had in Chandler. read more

I was interested in trying Fu Belly as it is a newer restaurant that serves both Thai and Vietnamese cuisine. I ordered off of UberEats, it came extremely quickly and still arrived warm. We all ordered Pad Thai, Pho with Meatballs, and the Chicken Fried Rice. I got the Pad Thai, and it was good but not great. It wasn't the worst Pad Thai I'd ever had, but it also didn't have an authentic Thai taste. There was no lime or tamarind flavor and the noodles were extremely thin like angel hair pasta. There was also not much Tofu. Everyone enjoyed the Pho with Meatballs, I thought it had a little too much anise flavor. In addition, we were expecting way more meatballs for the price! The Pad Thai is repulsive. Cloyingly sweet. Just don't bother unless you're someone who can drink high fructose syrup as a main course. The sauce for the pot stickers is awful too, pure salt mixed in fish sauce. The fried rice has a wonderful toasted sesame flavor, so it's worth getting. The beef pho was pretty good. Not the greatest, but satisfying. I really wanted to love this place, but I think it's just hit or miss. read more

Finally made it to this new and popular Vietnamese restaurant. We've been to many and this one will now be our place. Chicken Pho, #18 Grilled Chicken, Pad Thai, House Fish Sauce chicken wings, and Yellow Curry all hit the spot. Try the wings with fish sauce! The owners are friendly and place is welcoming.
