Mary Lou was kind enough to make me a custom smoothie out of mango and vanilla cream which turned out really good! Thanks!

Let me start by saying I absolutely adore this place. I found this place on yelp and sent my…read moreboyfriend to pick up smoothies one morning on a whim. The first time got us hooked. The morning ritual is the best smoothie I've ever had. It's hard to balance health and flavor, but this was both healthy and incredible. They list the ingredients used in each smoothie, so you know all of what they contain. You can even add different boosters such as mass muscle, etc. It's located inside of a gym, to the right side of it. Don't be thrown off, you don't need a membership to enjoy the fantastic smoothies. The workers have been really sweet each time we've visited, and when we ordered via Uber it was ready upon arrival. One of the only drawbacks is how expensive it is. I also really wish that they listed their nutrition facts online. For such a health oriented company it's shocking that they don't, and especially a company of decent size. The smoothies contain dates, nuts, etc. So although they are good ingredients they can be high in fats, so it's important to know. Our smoothie also has coffee as well which we enjoy, but knowing the caffeine content would be appreciated. My last order also had huge white frozen balls that were unblended in it which was odd, I'm not quite sure what they were. If the price was lower, we would come here much more often. It is a great way to start your morning, and makes you feel fantastic afterwards.

Staff are lively and friendly. AÇAÍ SUPERFOOD BOWL: Very distinct cinnamon flavor, FYI! Pleasant but just a heads up. Otherwise so fresh & bursting with flavor. Toppings were good quality and ripe. This is a huge portion... I had to freeze half of it for the next day. My family actually sent this to me (knowing that I do Yelp... And love smoothie bowls... smh). A bit out of the way for us being located in a smaller, residential shopping mall. But great for locals!

Absolutely stupid experience with the Pleasant Hill Vitality Bowls location and corporate customer…read moreservice. We placed a Mother's Day order for pickup Sunday morning. My husband arrived around 8:10 AM, after the store's posted opening time of 8:00 AM, only to find the business completely closed with no communication whatsoever. No call. No email. No cancellation notice. Nothing. What followed was somehow worse. I called the store multiple times throughout the day and left several voicemails that were never returned. I also emailed both the location and corporate customer service and received no response. Corporate didn't answer their phones either. All of this over a $35 order that the business happily charged for but never fulfilled. Today, I went into the store in person to ask for a refund and was met with attitude and defensiveness from the manager instead of accountability or even a simple apology. I was told they "do answer their phones" despite my multiple unanswered calls and voicemails. I was then told they could not issue a refund because it had been "more than two days," even though the delay was entirely caused by their complete lack of response and failure to handle the issue. The store being unexpectedly closed is frustrating enough. Ignoring customers afterward and then treating them poorly when they ask for their money back is unacceptable. I'm still waiting to hear from the "other manager" or "boss" who is supposedly able to process my refund. Who apparently already had my information but was "too busy" to respond to me sooner. Give me a break. At this point, it's not even about the $35. It's about the complete lack of professionalism, communication, and basic customer service.

We arrived a little early on a Friday (they open at 11:30, and we were already inside by 11:26 ), but the staff was very welcoming. The lady at the front didn't mind at all and even turned on the counter lights so we could clearly see the menu--such a nice touch, especially for first-timers like us. We ordered the grilled lobster balls, spicy dumplings, and braised pork with rice--each dish was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. For drinks/dessert, we had the fresh mango with sago, which was refreshing and just the right amount of sweet. And of course, you can't leave without trying the sesame balls--they were the perfect way to end the meal! Great food, friendly service, and a really good first impression overall. Highly recommend!

And they all sound soooo delicious. I'm personally not a fan of cheese foam but they have this too. Somehow ice cannot be modified but the sweetness can be modified. Ordered red guava lemon breeze. Guava was light but hit the cravings. Strange they gave you lime slices when it clearly says "lemon" haha. Boba was well cooked. Ice thankfully wasn't the entire cup. Ordered the crab and avocado onigiri. Has spam and egg as the base in all onigiris. I would've said it's great but there's legit a thick layer of mayo which grossed me out. Seaweed, rice, thick layer of mayo, crab mayo salad, avocado, tamago, spam, rice and seaweed. Rice isn't flavored. Wanted the plain ole pork tenderloin katsu bowl but was told only the curry was available,.. uhhh. Maybe they don't have the tonkatsu sauce? This legit tasted like chicken and not pork what's so ever which ticked me off since I don't consume poultry. It was well seasoned though. Curry has a layer of fat upon cooling... dark colored with no stuffing inside (no meat, veggies, etc). Food and drink took 22 minutes to get. They give you one of the shakers. Strange person taking order does not really know the menu... yes it's large and vast but strange nonetheless. Very modern decor. Lots of folks playing card games and chatting away. Very ikea esque furniture. Bathroom available. Iced water available. Would I come back? I understand now why the reviews are so great and why there's soooo many humans in this store. The food is actually legit (which is rarely the case for boba shops). The drinks are legit, too. Thus, if I were back in town, I will definitely be back!

She must've misheard me when I said, oat milk, cause she started using whole milk after I ordered. I told her I have dairy sensitivities. And she said that is the only milk that she had. But this was after I paid for the drink... i've never had a problem at other locations with no other dairy options. ...there was also barely any Boba and half the drink was red bean. Very disappointed. I must've been fourth in line after a family, and three other customers were served before me. If you have dairy sensitivity, DO NOT come here. I do not recommend it. Please consider a better system (calling out names, keeping drinks behind the counter, or handing drinks directly to customers), especially during rush hours.
