First off, that coffee is strong and still has flavor! The Mango Strawberry Slush was very Fruity and Sweet. The Green Thai Milk Tea was one of my favorites. I like that it wasn't too sweet and and a nice mix of matcha. The Strawberry fruit Tea was refreshing without being too sweet too. You can always change the percentage of sweetness if you'd like. The service was great! They gave me great recommendations and were very friendly. Their pay machine is broken, and Apple Pay didn't work. Green thai tea: I recently got hooked on it at 7 leaves, and this one was decent, but I preferred 7 leaves' version more. A bit too sweet for me, but not bad. Wintermelon green tea with boba: My partner liked it, but I'm a bit biased because I don't like wintermelon. The boba was soft but not chewy. POG: very sweet and syrupy at 75% sweetness. I couldn't really taste tea flavors. I got hints of orange from the slice of orange in the drink, but overall didn't really like this drink. I don't generally like syrupy fruit teas though. Definitely not the fresh taro like Sunright does it. BUT, I already knew that the drink wasn't gonna be fresh taro, so if you know that, and you like that, you'll like it haha. This is a cute small boba shop with a lot of drink options. They have plexiglass windows and a small table between the cashier and the customer line. There is hand sanitizer available. The tables and chairs are put away, possibly to discourage dine-in. There are a few board games in the back. But tucked away in the way back is a photo-op wall that says "all you need is love". I really wanted to like this place, but the drinks I got were terrible. The Thai tea at regular sweetness was disgusting! It wasn't the level of sugar that could have made it taste better. Perhaps they used flavoring that went bad? I also tried the jasmine milk tea, which was better, but something about it was off. Perhaps there was too much milk. Fruitea catered our wedding in Orange County this past September for 180 guests and they did not disappoint!! They had a cute little set-up, brought their own table, BOBA sign, menu board, etc. - they really made the entire process super easy and our guests LOVED the boba! Working with Ethan was super easy and he was so incredibly responsive even over a weekend. I emailed for a quote on a Friday and we had a contract signed by Sunday. He was great about answering all my silly questions about cups, straws, toppings, and flavors. He also gave me good tips/advice on how much to get. The service was great because we had a few questions on what was the favorite teas and they were able to assist. My girlfriend got the passion fruit tea and I got the Thai milk tea. I was able to taste both drinks and I did not like the flavor of either one. The Thai tea did not taste like what I'm used to and Thai tea is the only drink I usually purchase. The mango fruit tea was not great as well but she did get it with less sweetness. There was a swamp cooler inside so it was a little loud but it was cool. I'm not sure if the AC was broken or not but luckily it was not too hot when we went. The seats were comfortable. I sadly was not a big fan of the drinks here. I got a green thai tea with crystal boba, and my friend got their strawberry latte which was highly recommended. However, both of us were not too impressed with our drinks. Mine seemed more like I was drinking a sugary watery drink with a strange flavor that I could not pinpoint (I'm a fan of Tastea's green Thai tea but this tasted different), but I did like the texture of the crystal boba. Here's another boba spot in Orange County (I think this is my gazillionth one this past year) with decent selection and pretty good fruit tea options, and you're into that, Fruitea is for you. Located in the corner of a strip mall, Fruitea gives quick service and a decent selection of unique drinks that I find interesting. Kiwi Lemon? Mango Chamoy? F*** it, sure. Ultimately I went with Kiwi Lemon and my standard Matcha drink that I always get if I'm not familiar with a boba spot. Matcha Latte: 3/5 I thought it was okay: easy to drink but matcha was bland relative to other milk tea shops IMO. At 75% sweetness it was kind of aight, but the fact that the milk seemed to dominate the rest of the drink makes me say that this is rather meh. Boba was soft and brown sugary but not too sweet. If I had a 2nd chance I'd go for a different drink. Kiwi Lemon Tea: 4/5 Quite good at 75% sweetness, I normally don't go for fruit teas but this was enjoyable with the real kiwi and lemon in it. I went with a fruit tea due to the name only, might as well when you visit a place called Fruitea. They definitely are better with fruiteas than milk teas. I wasn't sure what sweetness level to get and told her I usually get full sweetness or one level lower at most places, so she suggested I try it at 70% sugar and if it was still too sweet she could remake it. The drink was good but it still felt a little too sweet even for me, so the employee was so kind as to make me a new one, this time at 50%. She told me I could keep the other one too and suggested I could try to dilute it at home.
