    Frozen drinks

I visited Frost Haus on a beautiful Saturday afternoon for lunch. We sat outside because it was a nice day and they had a great outdoor area. Their menu ranged from sandwiches and salads to breakfast burritos. We started with the pretzel sticks and beer cheese which were excellent! Then I had the weekend special burrito. It had eggs, cheese, spinach, bacon and hot honey in it...quite tasty! They have many frozen drink options with alcohol. I had the creamsicle....delicious! And a frozen lemonade that had bourbon in it. Drinks were great....food was pretty good! Our service was excellent, but there weren't many people there when we were. I thought the cost was a little pricey for brunch and frozen drinks, but what isn't pricey anymore? A fun spring or summer place to check out!

We rented an igloo for a fun wintry outing over our Christmas break. This was such a cool environment and all the heaters kept it nice and toasty. It was fun to be warm but still get the views outside. Service was friendly and we parked in a paid lot nearby. This is tucked away in a cute neighborhood in Covington near several other places. Wait times were fair as were the prices. We all ordered cocktails and most of them were frosty's. Mine was both way too boozy and too sweet, so I felt it much strongly and sooner than I expected. All the food was pretty heavy, so we left feeling a little gross after all of the sugar, alcohol, and carbs/heavy, greasy food. I was surprised they gave us a gift card, that was returning the deposit you out down for the igloo - I thought that was so nice! I would return in the future, but would order different things, or just stop by for a lighter drink and a snack instead of both a boozy dessert and entree. Definitely enjoyed the igloo, is a great environment for a group special occasion!

On a hot day there's nothing I love more than a frozen cocktail so I was really excited about trying this new place. Parking was a little hard to find because it was pretty crowded but the location itself is easy to get to. The venue is divided it into two areas. First, there is an outdoor walk up window where you can order boozy milkshakes. To get boozy slushy's you have to head inside to the bar and this is also where you can get a table if you're interested in eating. There are about seven flavors on tap of alcohol slushy's that can be mixed and matched to create fun concoctions. If you're a person who likes to taste your alcohol you will definitely need to add an additional shot, luckily they have plenty of liquors on hand. The drinks themselves start at $12, which seems a little pricey for what you get, but it was still worth it. The best part is you can carry out your drinks and there are plenty of other restaurants in the area if you want a more substantial bite.

This is a great place to hang out with friends. There's food and alcohol drinks. Board games and bingo are offered as well as karaoke and breakfast.

i stumbled on this spot while walking around during BLINK and they had so many fun specials running during it. I was super cold when i walked in so i was really excited that they had a hot mulled wine available to order that was super yummy! And since it is in a DORA area i was able to walk around with my warm libation as i looked at all the cool BLINK projections. Bar staff was awesome and i really enjoyed myself. Pro Tip: I think it would be a fun to either pre or post game a visit to Smoke Justis with a visit here

Cannot say enough good things about our two recent brunches at Frosthaus! Delicious food - the goetta and egg tots are amazing, and the flatbread breakfast pizzas are so so good. $5 Bloody Mary's are the chef's kiss. The staff is so friendly and attentive. Wish we could have stayed for Boozy Brunch Bingo, but we will be back.

Went here during Blink and loved it and will be back for more!! As you can see pictured I had to try their hot and cold drinks. I previously thought of them as just another frozen cocktail producer but I'm happy to say I was wrong. While their Roebling Runner was everything I thought I desired at the time, their hot mulled wine was what warmed my soul on that cold night. As the winter progresses I'll return for more warm concoctions. Tips to make your visit a success: 1) Take the recommendations to heart. As I said previously, I thought I knew what I wanted but when the staff informed me of their specials it intrigued and later convinced me to try it out. So my advice, don't be quick to stick to what you may think you're their for, be malleable. 2) Don't forget that they serve food. Their food is delicious too, so get some to share and by all means enjoy. Cold or warm weather this place is for you!!

The nicest people with amazing food, fantastic frozen drinks and just pure fun all around. If you haven't been to Frosthaus you are missing out. Definitely a must when in Covington - great on a sunny lazy day or a quick fun drink before heading to a sporting event or concert across the river in Cincinnati. They have so many options. Samples, flights and souvenir cups - also- live close and want to pretend you're enjoying a day at the beach... get some to go and pretend your on a tropical holiday. And get the garlic lovers flatbread/ the haus dipping sauce is the best. They also have a full bar (for non frozen drink lovers) and next door/connected outside is Eishaus - fun for the kids with delicious frozen ice cream treats- including ice cream cincinnati chili- just trust me- it's good- and no- it's not really chili. One of my favorite places in Covington and definitely one of my favorite small family owned businesses in the tri-state area.

Drinks are delicious! Would like to see more servers/better service, but we could have been there on an off night. I'm excited about the constantly changing favors and the addition of trivia night! I look forward to seeing what else Frosthaus comes up with in the future. Definitely worth checking out if in the area.

Hey there, I wanted to let management know how wonderful Paul, the host you had working the night of the Summer of Cov bazaar was. They were so friendly and calm despite it being absolutely chaotic out that night. Paul helped us get seated indoors while we waited on an outside table big enough for our party. We will definitely be back just for the friendly staff! (The drinks and food were delicious too! ) I highly recommend the "Taste the Rainbow" and "Cov Sunset" drinks. The Flatbread pizzas are fire. Although I did not partake, my friend said the goetta balls were great too!

First time here! Great spot, specially now in the summer with the temps at the 90s! The frozen drinks where great, 3 of us order different ones and we all loved them. Later I order a Hot Tequila summer and a old fashion cocktails, both where good. But the pretzels with the beer cheese! we order 2 at first for four and didnt order anything else because they were just that good! So we order another one lol. Service was great, always on point, but the One and only negative was that they didnt clean or pick up anything from the table when we where finished, so pretty much the table was completely full of empty plates and glasses, so imagine 3 plates , 8-10 glasses all around and your trying to avoid a mess. Besides that everything else was great! We are Coming back soon for sure! A little side note: besides being dog friendly, they have a spot on the side from their own business with ice creams and free dog cups which are whip cream cups for doggies... got the 5 stars there for me haha.

Came here during restaurant week just to try the restaurant and can say I will be back!…read more I ordered the Ceaser salad with the short rib empanada and short rib gnocchi. The Ceaser salad was the best Ceaser salad I ever had! The short rib empanada and the gnocchi was good as well but the gnocchi was covered in scallions. That wasn't stated on the menu or by our server when I asked if onions were in the dish, so unfortunately I did have to send that back and have it remade then ate the rest once I got back home. I also tried the Black Angus NY and it melt in my mouth like butter. They were busy and it did take a while for the food to come out but the wait was worth it.

Wow! What a way to spend our 1 year wedding anniversary! I loved this place…read more It has been a few months since eating here but I still find myself thinking about it. Our next trip to Cincinnati; It will be extremely difficult to stay away from here. We spent the day in Newport and around Cincinnati and wanted somewhere nice for the occasion. I was iffy on this place at first... you can throw a rock all over America and hit a place with 'Barrel' in the name these days. The Yelp reviews swing both ways here but I'm here to tell you my take... because it swings so far towards the 5 stars that it's very much a 6 or 7 star place(maybe more). We gauged our arrival time based on other activities that day. We wanted ample time at the nearby Lego exhibit so when we arrived there, we made a reservation for 4:30-5. Eating early and making our way back to Louisville was a great idea. The entire time we were there, no one else came in so we had the entire place to ourselves(It was a Friday). The atmosphere is homey but during busy times, I could see it being noisy. The booths could easily fit 6 people comfortably... probably 8 in some cases depending on how wide some of you are. Special Note: This place highlights The Parrillada Experience for Two on their menu and we wanted it! We didn't order it because at a price tag of 130-and pictures online, we didn't want it to be a failed outing. After our first trip, The Parrillada Exp will be on the agenda next time. It's a mixture of different steaks, sausages, shrimp, sides, and salads. Definitely worth the cost. On to the food: Sausage App - Argentine Chorizo. Farmhouse Sausage. Grilled Ciabatta. Hearts of Palm. Green/Red chimichurri. Pepper Relish. I don't like ordering this type of dish when I go places because you never know if it's going to be delicious or very bad. It ended up being super delicious. We couldn't make up our mind which sauce we liked the best and which meat we liked the best. App PERFECTION! Land and Sea - This is what my wife went with. Asada Skirt Steak. Jumbo Shrimp. Asparagus. Red chimichurri butter. I had bites of the shrimp and it was good. I had to save room for my dish. Wagyu Denver Cut - I went back and forth. Lobster ravioli being on the menu almost made my decision instant but I was going back and forth between ravioli, steak, and a few other things. I asked the server which he recommended of the 4 Chef's cuts. He recommended two... one of which was the Wagyu so I went with it. I wasn't disappointed AT ALL. He mentioned that the Wagyu Denver Cut was a new addition to the menu... I'm not sure but you could definitely tell it was cooked, arranged, and presented with care. I savored every angle of every bite. We also ordered a side of brussels because of course! Originally we were going to dessert somewhere else but went ahead and ordered the Hazelnut Vanilla Creme Brulee here. Perfect ending to the meal. This brulee was light and had the right amount of crunch. It was also larger than expected. We had no complaints with this place. Easily one of the better restaurants I've had in Cincinnati. If you're doubting visiting this place, take the dive! Other notes: They have beer and a small cocktail variety but they primarily seem focused on wine(plenty of options to choose from).

This place has tons of parking which is free. The pricing for mini golf was really good better than anywhere else - unlimited and two different 18-hole courses (I will say the courses itself could use an upgrade - new paint or adding some objects to the course to make the established holes a bit more challenging. We paid 9 dollars per person. The driving range was also pretty cheap for buckets of balls - it would be a fun afternoon to bring the dads for driving range, the kids for mini golf and the moms can eat food and hang or enjoy the range as well. The food looked good, but we did not partake - the drinks were decently well priced - a can of beer 3.50 - a sway was 6 bucks. They have free concerts every now and then at their art installation, which is pretty cool, I also think it's cool how they do 5 buck Mondays. The staff was nice enough, my only complaint is the grass was a little overgrown, so we got ate up with chiggers and skeeters.
