The tacos at this unassuming little West side gem taste EXACTLY like the ones I remember from the Distrito Federal, authentic and flavorful and 1/4 of a mile from my house. I've had the al pastor, pollo, fish, barbacoa, veggies, and the amazing squash blossom fillings, and they all rock. Still all cash (ATM onsite). Still laid back feel. They have an interim menu right now while they get all their inspections but I had the brisket melt and it was amazing and my friend loved her grouper sandwich. Looks like the mixed drinks are now in plastic cups instead of styrofoam, but beer is still cheap. I still need to go back in the evening for some live music but just being able to be back on the river in between Ludlow and Bromley, feeling like I'm on vacation. Never change, LBYC! If you're looking for a chill afternoon or evening with plenty of people watching and the lull of being on the water, go directly to the club.
