Jennifer Almodover from More Than A Move has helped me several times. Jenny's communication and…read moreorganizational skills as well as attention to details are outstanding. She is also very pleasant to work with because of her upbeat caring personality. The first time I met Jenny, I was not well and in need of help going through things in my home to decide what to ship to my other out of state home. Never overbearing, her helpful suggestions were well thought out always keeping in mind my needs. She carefully organized, packed, measured and weighed each box so that everything was was ready to be picked up at my front door. Jenny also photographed donations for my records then dropped them off at the donation center for me. Because I had planned on being away for months, Jenny suggested then took photos of my good silver that I was not moving so that I would have it for insurance purposes. Something I had not even thought about. Months later, when I decided to stay longer at at my other home, Jenny helped me once again. She went to my house and found everything on the list I sent her then professionally packed and shipped it all to me. There were many sentimental and fragile items. Everything arrived on time in perfect condition. Most recently, Jenny came to my rescue once again when I decided to sell my home. Downsizing and moving to another state is overwhelming and extremely stressful. Because of COVID I could not return. I was totally dependent on Jenny's expertise. It was a huge job. Doing this remotely via phone, photos and FaceTime felt like an impossible task but Jenny made it all seem so effortless. Her genuine compassion in understanding my concerns gave me so much peace of mind. She treated my home and all of my belonging like they were her most precious possessions. Her continuous communication via phone calls, photos and text messages kept me apprised of every aspect of the entire project from start to finish. She was always tireless, cheerful and on top of every aspect of my move right down to recommending a great moving company. As an added bonus, Jenny sold things I no longer needed or could not fit in my smaller home and took other items to consignment and donation places. Her knowledge of what would sell, where to sell it as well as pricing was extremely helpful. I was pleasantly surprised how much she sold! Jenny's professionalism at my home when meeting buyers for the furniture and other household items she sold for me was also impressive. To avoid having strangers walking through my home, she had things ready outside whenever possible. When picking up larger items Jenny stayed with each buyer while they removed their items. Thoughtful of my finances, she scheduled items to be picked up during a time she was already at my home working on other things. Every detail of clearing out my home was completed quickly, efficiently and so much easier than I could have ever imagined. I highly recommend Jennifer Almodover and More Than A Move!

Laurie jumped right in with lots of good ideas and a cheerful and supportive attitude during what was, for me, a very sensitive time. The approach she took was a combination of internet listings for big pieces and 3 garage sales for things that could be easily carried away. Doing internet research she identified several collectors items with value beyond what I would have guessed. Set it Straight Home Organizing netted enough money to help cover the many expenses involved with this kind of move. To say I was satisfied would be a gross understatement. Laurie and Set it Straight we're a Godsend. I couldn't have done it without them.

I wish I could leave ten stars!…read more I work from home in a very paper-intensive profession, and my office was out of control. I thought I had weeks of work to do to catch up on the backlog. I hired Meghan to come in and help because I've tried several of those popular organize yourself books ("The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up", "Un-f--- Your Habitat", etc.) and they never worked. I just assumed I was predisposed to disorganization. Meghan came over for a consultation and looked it over, assured me things weren't really all that bad, and talked over what would be involved. She said it would take about 5 hours. I was expecting a few days, so I was thrilled. We booked a time for the organizing day, and she arrived on time and ready to go. It was so helpful to have a professional give me tips and tell me where to put things. She listened to how I use my space in order to help me figure out the best places to put things. My home office is amazingly clean and tidy now, and the mountain of paperwork was turned into a molehill. I took 40 lbs of paper to the office store to shred, and my paperwork backlog is now only about 2 inches. I'll finish it in a workday or two. My kitchen is logically arranged now, my closet is tidy, and those random boxes under the bed have been sorted. Everything I own now has a place, and I feel confident that I'll be able to keep things tidy by just returning everything to its place when I'm done with it. Meghan was worth every penny I paid her and more. We spent 5 1/2 hours, and she bought me weeks of time and relieved me of unbelievable amounts of stress. I should have called her sooner!
