Good ol' Frickers never ceases to amaze me, the claim to be the best wing place in town, meanwhile the first (and last) 2 times me and the ol' lady ordered "extra wet" chicken only to be left with dry chicken. Seems like the dry cooks thinks it's best to toss the wings precooked and dry them off and does not toss them again, so you are left with dry as bone chicken with an after taste of burnt sauce. Would not recommend, honestly amazes me that the cook can't figure out how to toss wings the proper way at a WING restaurant. read more

Despite it being lunch time and there bring 5 people there, my food took about 25 minutes to come out. When it did I concluded they had to run to Walmart to get it because it looked like something that I would get at the grocery store and cook myself for like $4. Not that it was well-prepared. Wings and fries overcooked. Hot sauce was poor. Even the ranch, a little cup of which cost 69 cents for some reason, was not good. Been to the one on Woodman a few times in the past couple of years, and it was much better than this. I give zero stars but, had to post one to get review. I have tried to go to Frickers in Springfield, Ohio many times. Each time it has gotten worse. Last night even the manager basically called me a lier and told me I did not order what I said was ordered. I have the receipt that was stapled to my order. After it was gotten back from another customer whom was already in his car! The customer service is horrible as I called to say I had a problem with my order and the girl said " Honey, that is not on the receipt. Today was the worst experience with a restaurant since O'Connor restaurant. I had ordered 200 wings on Dec 3rd to be picked up on Dec 10th at 1:30pm. We arrived 20 minutes early and was told that we were early and it would be ready by 1:30pm. We left and came back at 1:35pm. We were told it would be awhile still. At 1:50pm they brought it to us and was trying to give us 6 of 8 sauces and no celery. I was highly upset and demanded to talk to the manager. I was then accused of cussing at the waitress. When the manager came out, he said "We're a little busy." I told him that it was ordered a week ahead. He never offered a discount or anything. Worst service since O'Connor. read more

Been regulars here for more than a decade. The staff is hit or miss unless you have one of the regular gals who have been there a while and know you. The turnaround on staff is pretty high so that's a bit of a challenge. The food is ok, nothing pops out and screams incredible as most of it is greasy but defiantly edible. Very little consistency with the food as well. Potions are all over the map along with quality. Where this place shines is its energy and a great place to hang out with friends. Whether out for the game of your liking or just a night out the drinks are fairly priced and almost always great. The food is great. The beers are cold. Just don't come in when the main bartender is running things. Julie is her name and she only takes care of her favorites. She pours the beers 1" low and only checks to see if you need anything when you waive her down. If she's in sit at a table. Ordered to go, now I understand when ordering to go things won't always be 100% and that was taken into account. Ordered traditional wings with mild sauce which was supposed to be on the side. We get the wings and they look like the restaurant dumped fryer grease in with them. Rough start to begin with. Open the fried pickles and they're doughy and under cooked. On the bright side they did send the ranch that was supposed to go with them. We also ordered the 3-for-me. When we got it one of the buns looked blackened and squashed like it had been rolled up and thrown down on it. I was a little upset and annoyed at the quality of the food so I called to let the manager know what had happened. He immediately got defensive and said "Well we have two people check every order so I don't know how all of that would have gotten passed two people." No accountability whatsoever for how horrible our food looked. The manager did not offer a refund, only to remake the food, apparently forgetting that I just told him how unappetizing and incorrect my food was. Springfield, OHIO Frickers may be one of the worst places our family visited. The order was not taken for an exceptionally long time. A soup that was ordered was cold and so nasty there was no reason to try to eat it. We love the wings and the variety of sauces. The food is consistent and good quality. Wait staff is usually very good and helpful. Like any place you get a bad one once in awhile. For us, the only down side is the noise level. Watch where you sit so you don't have a speaker blaring in your ear. The noise level from the game room and poor acoustics make it a very loud setting when they are busy. We often pick up wings to go when we are in town shopping. We only had an issue once where I got all the way home and the order wasn't right. I called and the manager made it right with us our next visit. We went to this place on a late Sunday afternoon. The place was busy but not over crowded. We 2 different types of boneless wings, and a burger. When our waitress finally brought us our food, it was ice cold and the wings had no sauce on them! None! On top of that anytime we asked our waitress for a refill or napkins she would politely say she would get it, then spend the next 15 minutes flirting with men at the bar. No needless to say the service was HORRIBLE! The best place to go to if your interested in having some girl trying to get tips out of you by flirting! Was told by manager the 2.49 info was in the menu??? You can't even see the menu because the lighting is way too dark in there. The general manager, Jordan, was very rude when there was an issue with our food. She also made a comment about veterans getting more then the deserve at their resturant. She argued that we should have said something earlier about our food but yet admitted the waitress told her earlier that we was unhappy abour it. Then when the bill came the manager brought out the bill screaming at our table about not saying anything even though she said the waitress had told her earlier.
