a fork and a piece of fried chicken

Good ol' Frickers never ceases to amaze me, the claim to be the best wing place in town, meanwhile the first (and last) 2 times me and the ol' lady ordered "extra wet" chicken only to be left with dry chicken. Seems like the dry cooks thinks it's best to toss the wings precooked and dry them off and does not toss them again, so you are left with dry as bone chicken with an after taste of burnt sauce. Would not recommend, honestly amazes me that the cook can't figure out how to toss wings the proper way at a WING restaurant.

On the road with the lady or the mister? THEN GO TO FRICKERS! Ribs Chicken Chunks and fries were all awesome. On an empty stomach this $13 plate left me full and satisfied. Luckily I didn't have to drive because the itis popped up in a jiffy. Service was quick and friendly. Until next time...

Stopped in here for the first time in about 15 years and it could not have been much more disappointing. Despite it being lunch time and there bring 5 people there, my food took about 25 minutes to come out. When it did I concluded they had to run to Walmart to get it because it looked like something that I would get at the grocery store and cook myself for like $4. Not that it was well-prepared. Wings and fries overcooked. Hot sauce was poor. Even the ranch, a little cup of which cost 69 cents for some reason, was not good. Been to the one on Woodman a few times in the past couple of years, and it was much better than this. I recalled this place being very similar to Roosters but this was about half the food and 1/3 the quality for the same price.

I give zero stars but, had to post one to get review. I have tried to go to Frickers in Springfield, Ohio many times. Each time it has gotten worse. Last night even the manager basically called me a lier and told me I did not order what I said was ordered. I have the receipt that was stapled to my order. After it was gotten back from another customer whom was already in his car! The customer service is horrible as I called to say I had a problem with my order and the girl said " Honey, that is not on the receipt. " Excuse me, umm when did Honey become so passive for you to use in the context in which you did? I will not ever go back to this establishment! Save your time and your money and go somewhere else. This was our order, we didn't get BBQ on the chicken or ranch or blue cheese and nor did we get 3 Mac & cheese. And the manager stated he bagged my order personally and the receipt doesn't have any of my order specifications on it.. that's funny ! I see all of that.. 0 stars and loss of patronage!

Been regulars here for more than a decade. The staff is hit or miss unless you have one of the regular gals who have been there a while and know you. The turnaround on staff is pretty high so that's a bit of a challenge. The food is ok, nothing pops out and screams incredible as most of it is greasy but defiantly edible. Very little consistency with the food as well. Potions are all over the map along with quality. Where this place shines is its energy and a great place to hang out with friends. Whether out for the game of your liking or just a night out the drinks are fairly priced and almost always great. I will say when you have the right server/ bar tender and a good crowd it can be a lot of fun for not a lot of cash.

I noticed that There are two listing for Bogey's. So I'm putting my most recent visit here. My…read moreyounger sister just went on and on about how good the fried Bologna sandwich was here. I'm 67 years old I have never ate a fried balogna sandwich in a restaurant before. I felt That it was a complete waste of money. After today I still hold that opinion. My guess is that the cook was born in the late 80's and didn't know how to properly prepare a fried bologna sandwich in a manor in which I am accustomed. It was ok I suppose. I was just underwhelmed by it. I expected angles to sing when I took my first bite. Perhaps angles don't go in bars. Instead, the balogna slid out or the bun leaving a pint of mayo for me to lock of my fingers. Not something I like to do in public . Some would argue that bologna should be served on White Bread. I'm not that big of a purist, so I was perfectly content with the bun provided. I did request extra mayo and I got just that. All on one side of the delishous bun. To remedy that I disassembled my sandwich. I took half the mayo and put it on the other half of the bun. I cut up the onions and lettuce as they contributed to the balogna sliding off the bun. I salted the tomato and reassembled the sandwich and the sliding problem was solved. My next problem was a continuation of the young Cook not knowing that I like my fried balogna fried, really fried. This is a weird quirk I have because I like my steak really really rare. It wasn't terrible. I was just expecting a fried bologna sandwich just the way my mom did them in the 50's and beyond. BUT everyone knows Noone can fry a balogna sandwich as good as mom's unless you count grandma or your aunts. I didn't find my server as friendly as Amanda the gal that served me last time. Nor was she as attentive. Had she been more like Amanda this would have been a 4 star review. She was cute, her hair was done nicely and she did dress well. I just feel when I walk into a restaurant its expected to be treated like family especially after the first visit. I got that from Amanda. The regular customers were friendly. A couple of the other gals were a bit more friendly than my server. And one did invite me back. I do need to come back to sample other menu offerings. I do recommend Bogey's if you're in the area or perhaps after a round of golf. I can't recommend the fried Bologna sandwich, but if you never had your mom's fried balogna in the 50's you may like it. I will recommend the BLT, as it was among the best Restaurant BLTs that I remember eating.

If Applebee's is in the midst of a turnaround, this restaurant hasn't gotten the memo…read more On a Sunday afternoon, the place wasn't packed; we had to wait 10 minutes for a table. A lot of open tables, guessing it's a staffing issue. I feel like Applebee's is trying with the menu improvements and drink improvements. Still, the location could prob use some management improvements and a kitchen staff training program, bc a Triple App and a chicken salad shouldn't take over 45 minutes to make when dining in. We also heard the phone ring off the hook, and a few times it went unanswered. The bartender seemed to be the only one knowledgeable and working. Our server kept telling us the food would be right out for 45 minutes.... Three different t times. Yikes. Once our food came out, it was tbh a little subpar, the chicken salad was lettuce-heavy & chicken-light. The Trio App was decent, but the boneless wings lacked sauce. I really dislike leaving bad reviews, but I have to in the hope that someone at Applebee's sees this and tries to reach out to correct these issues before a small town loses another restaurant bc of bad management.

Of course we enjoyed absolutely none of it. I ordered an 8oz bourbon steak with mash potatoes. The steak was the worse piece of meat I can recall ever! I had to try to cut into a piece and the steak knife wouldn't even but it. I had to discreetly spit bites into a paper napkin. 20 dollars for a very low grade quality steak. My grandson loved ribs so, on the kids meal this cost $18.99. That itself is unreasonable. 3 very burnt ribs that were also inedible unless you scraped the burnt chips attached and that left very little meat. My son in law had shrimp & chicken and it came smothered with onions and mushrooms! This was gross and neither of us saw it pictured that way. Mine also had loads of mushrooms & onions. I only saw Mushrooms and ask they be removed. Fortunately, I like onions but under my steak was a bucket full and it seemed like overkill. No, I decided to I wasn't going to complain. It would serve no purpose. They're still going to buy cheap meat. They're not going to give a care with my opinions and it's definitely not willing to change the lack of quality on our plates! They should realize that already. There was no wait of patrons but we still waited more than an hour after ordering to bring out our meals.(This is a Saturday at 7pm), It would've been great if our waitress would've checked in to let us know. Sorry this is 100% negative but there are so many failing restaurants in my area and few choices (majority restaurants here are Mexican cuisine). I really hope someone describes a good experience after this, prove me wrong, please!
