Lol Freshh blueberry donuts are so good when they're fresh out the fryer so the outside is crisp with glaze and warm on the inside. Last time I had these fresh were around 10-11PM at night. Rudest Man Ever! I enter the shop when there are three customers waiting at the counter. I sit and decide what I want. As the third customer leaves, I approach the counter and wait for the clerk to finish filling a large doughnut box. He walks past the counter/me several times as he fills the box without acknowledging me. Then, as walking past me, he asks "do you want something", I state yes as he disappears into the back. He returns to the shelves of donuts, completes the box order, then reaches for another empty box and begins filling the new box. While he is lowered behind the donut case, he finally looks up and asks what I want. I state my order, he rises and then states "you know I can't read your mind". At that point, I decided they didn't deserve my money, so I left empty handed, vowing never to visit that shop! read more

I've only been here once and I think the donuts are disgusting. I mean I guess the saying is true, you get what you pay for. From late night study sessions combined with hell week dance practices to emotional/hungry eating, Freshh Donuts is the spot to go to while attending UCR. This place remains as one of the best donut shops to go to ever. Of course everyone has their own opinions, but these donuts represent more than just a piece of dough to me. It represents all the good and bad times during my years at UCR. My trip to Riverside CA's very own contained: Chocolate Donut Maple Bar Glaze Twist Apple Fritter Ham and Cheese Croissant Blueberry Cream Cheese Croissant Let's first start off with the croissants. These are the flakiest and most buttery croissants I've ever had. The ham to cheese ratio inside the croissant was perfect. The same can be said with the sweet blueberry and cream cheese. These two are must gets when going here. Simple traditional flavors and size are what make this place great. Freshh Donuts is one of those places to have that combination at a high quality level. Not only are they the best but they are super freshh too. Hot piping donuts at 2 am in the morning are the best especially if they are from this small shop. Chocolate Good! Maple Goood! Glaze Gooood! Apple Fritter Gooooooood! Even though Riverside is now a far drive for me, I would still make the trip to Freshh Donuts. I do feel bad for writing this negative review because they indeed have good treats but my latest experience here was very much in need of it. I went to this shop and asked for a specific dessert, I was able to notice he gave me the wrong one so I corrected him by repeating what I needed. He went back and fixed it. As soon as I got home I noticed that I had the wrong one again. It's Freshh Donuts. This place has the best donuts in the area. It beats Winchell's by a mile. The cake donuts are probably the specialty, as they are usually the most delicious. My favorite place to get donuts in riverside. The donuts always were so soft and sweet no matter if we went in the evening or morning. Pre-covid, we used to go fairly often. Personally, the white sprinkles and maple bars are my favorite. The owner is an older man who would joke around with me and my boyfriend and gave us a free chocolate donut last time we went (it's been a year since the last time we've been there). Probably the only 24-hr place close to UCR campus. I enjoyed the maple bars too. They also sell cigarettes here if you smoke cause all the convenience stores and shops besides the 24-hr Rite-Aid in the Canyon Crest center far away from campus don't have cigarettes (I guess unless you go to a gas station, but this is the closest spot to campus) The croissant sandwiches are pretty bomb in a pinch if you're hungry... I love that this place exists! It's really the only 24/7 place open next to the UCR campus, and it's not a far walk (~10 minutes) from most campus housing. I would go here every finals week to get goodies for me and my study buddies, or times just when I had a craving for donuts. I was told by a friend that Fresh Donuts has the best Donut holes in Riverside so I just had to check it out. It's true, the donuts here are fresh right at 2AM.
