I needed "props" to fill my dessert table and, naturally, wanted to look for something edible, inexpensive, yet great on camera. I found my way into K D's Donuts located on Pigeon Pass Road and Ironwood Avenue, just north of the 60 Freeway in Moreno Valley. I already knew what I wanted since all I thought about was something to complement the theme so I picked out a dozen donuts: some maple glaze, regular glaze, sugar, powdered sugar, coconut, cinnamon, lemon-filled, etc. The owners in the shop were very nice and friendly. They carefully packaged my donuts into a cute pink box and I was merrily on my way. Just a note: This donut shop is Cash Only. Overall, I was really pleased at the look of the donuts. And the guests enjoyed eating them. Got a lot of compliments with the dessert table. At the end of the party, I tasted one of the cinnamon donuts and it was still nice and fluffy. Wish I got to taste a maple donut (my fave)... that just means I get to take another trip to K D's. Yay! read more

This is my new little hidden gem. Local donut shop where when you walk in it feels like cheers where everybody knows your name...(it's okay go ahead and sing) The donuts are fresh and the service is friendly and always with a smile. I stopped in after working out in the area and I needed to pick up a couple of dozen for a client in Perris. The shop was on the small side and noticed is not the cleanest donut shop I've ever visited. What was really disturbed my was that the Asian lady was on a cell phone the entire time she helped me while she picked my 2 dozen mixed. I really thought she was rude. To top it off when I looked at the donuts which were all in one box and the variety was nothing to write home about. I was so pissed I didn't even bother tasting one. Maybe I'm spoiled with all the great donut shops close to home but this was at the bottom of my fave donut shops I've visited. read more

Do not go to this place I went in to get donuts and people were inside without a mask! The owner does not even care about her customers. She said it's not mandatory when THE GOVERNMENT clearly announced all businesses require masks and customers!! Some of us have high risk family members and for this business to not care is so irresponsible. Someone can go in there and cough without a mask which will go all over the donuts. Do not shop here never supporting this business again after supporting it for 17 years I'm done. Disgusting owner not caring about people's health. read more

Do not go here. The owner does not enforce you to wear a mask. She is not protecting the customers. By city ordinance no mask no service. This place had people inside with no mask. Please stay away from this place until covid is over due to this location not being safe during this pandemic. Remember wear a damm mask . read more

Cash only. Donuts looked great and taste great. I was greeted as soon as I walked in with happy faces. The selection was good and they also had a decent size selection of premium donuts (Larger, fillings, specialties) which sadly were only sold separately. Price was fine. 8.95 for dozen. The best way to eat at any family owned donut shop is get there before 8am, otherwise go to your chained shops. The store is old and is not fancy. it's located inside the staterbros parking lot and has plenty of spots I will be returning for more. read more

Just moved here and was hoping to find a new donut shop to rival my old favorite. I was NOT disappointed. Customer service was AMAZING. You can tell people come here regularly. It's so charming i love it. Crumb donuts are my all time favorite but for whatever reason, many places have them all dry. Maybe they sit out because they aren't sold often? I don't know! But this place has SOFT, PLUSH, AIRY, PERFECTLY SWEET donuts. Very glad we moved here and have a new donut shop to go to. read more

They do not accept card payments, instead of making a purchase convenient to a buyer they make it very difficult. Only cash payments in 2017 and they do not have a ATM or have a suggestion as to where an ATM is located. Seems dozen donuts are more expensive here than other places as well at $9.50. I won't be coming back. read more

Very good donuts and friendly service. There are always about 5 older gentlemen hanging out here just sitting around, eating donuts, drinking coffee, and having a good time. The Twists here are a delicious bread type of donut that is unique (in my experience) to Southern CA. Tasty! Right by Albertson's. read more

Terrible donut place. I went here excited for some good donuts. The lady who helped me was kind at first and i got my dozen. I go home to find hair in my donuts. I drive all the way back to get my refund. When I showed her the donuts with hair in them, she has the nerve to ask me what I want her to do about it. I didn't get so much as a sorry or anything. When i told her I wanted a refund, I was met with attitude and when given my money back, it was basically thrown at me. safe to say i will never be coming back here. read more

Been coming here for years since my 1st son was in elementary school he is now 21. And taking my baby here as well who is now 12. Ordered two hot ham and cheese and mine tasted like the cheese or ham was bad. I drove back and got attitude and i will NEVER go back.. This was our morning stop everyday before school. I love their donuts! I don't know why, but I love the atmosphere there also. Especially in the early morning at 5. Nice cool, and warm, winter feeling. Customer service is awesome. I came here when we first moved close by. My kids were wanting donuts and this was the closest shop. First off they dont accept debit cards, which is a little inconvenient but not uncommon with some of the donut shops i have been to. The thing that really grossed me out and is the reason we will not go back, is there was a long hair in one of the donuts my son was eating. read more

On side of the bakery is where the pastries and baked goods are. If you haven't been to one of the chain stores, you grab a tray and help yourself to the package sweets. There's rows and rows of fresh baked daily goods. Every piece is individually wrapped. Not only sweets, there's also sandwiches which I didn't even know they had. Along the front where the cashier is, whole cakes and slices are available. Once you finished picking out what you want, take the tray to the counter and that's where they ring things up. Drinks can also be ordered there. I did pick up a couple of boxes of the individual pastries and sweets. Both savory and sweets. A while strawberry cake and two drinks. That came up to about 108.00. The staff were all pretty sweet and friendly. I overheard one of the other cashier asking another patron if they wanted something heated up. Which I asked the cashier that was ringing my order up but she couldn't heat my croissant up as it wasn't the pre wrapped sandwiches. Only sandwiches could be heated up. Oh well. As I ordered drinks, which the other half of the cafe is the dining area. First off, the place was pretty massive and majority of the space in the middle isn't utilized. Just an open space which the could have added more tables for seating. Even though there was good amount of people working the drinks counter, it took forever for our drinks to be ready. It seemed like only one person was making the drinks which I think took at least 10 minutes for my drinks to be ready. Overall, it a nice space and the shelves were fully stocked. Come first thing as you know everything should be fresh and available. Downfall, it took forever for drinks to be made and it wasn't that busy when we walked in.
