Stopped by Better Be Donuts and tried their old-fashioned and apple fritter. The apple fritter was a bit on the oily side but still delicious, with a nice crisp on the outside. The old-fashioned was just okay for me--maybe because it was later in the day--but still had a good texture. The staff was super kind and welcoming, which made the visit even better. I'd love to come back earlier in the morning to try more! read more

We pulled off the freeway on the way to Phoenix to try their donuts. Our very fav donut shop (for raised donuts) is owned by a lovely Vietnamese family in Merced CA called Rollin donuts! When we learned "Be Better" was owned by a Vietnamese family, we were optimistic! Maybe their culture has a donut making secret. My husband is a donut nut and is always on the search for the best donuts! I ordered a black and white frosted raised donut and a big smile broke our on our faces when we tasted it! So light and fully and melt in your mouth delicious! We were already back on the freeway when we tasted it or we would have turned around to get another! We also tried a small Apple fritter and old fashion maple. All three were excellent. There really not much seating so if you meet friends here, you'll have to find another place to hang! We so look forward to our next visit! read more

They're always stocked with so many options, early morning or right before closing you can find a wide variety of donuts to choose from. I don't come here too often but the place is always clean, fully stocked and the service is fast and they're so kind. Going to try their drinks next time. read more

Let's talk about the donuts amazing selection went for the first time and amazed they were not greasy they were so soft and full of flavor! Good apple fritter and thai tea! I had a craving for apple fritters and stopped by Better Be for the first time to try their large apple fritter. This is a soft apple fritter with a light cinnamon flavor. This is a bit more apple-y than other places, but it's a bit greasy. The thai tea is great and I regret not getting a large. read more

One thing the Vietnamese learned from the French was making incredible, delicious pastries. The owners of Better Be Donuts creates the best fluffy and airy butter croissants ever. Try it loaded with eggs and sausage. It's outstanding. read more

i just moved down here and i've been trying to find a new local donut shop, and so far this one has been the best one! they're service is good :) they're super nice! always a kind interaction. my boyfriend always gets the donut holes and he likes them. they gave us extra! i got the ham, bacon, egg and cheese croissant. the coffee is good! for the hot coffee they either have the house coffee behind the counter or the 4 self serve flavored ones. they also have creamer and sugar. we'll be going more often for sure! read more

I found this donut shop while looking for a donut place on my way to work. I'm very glad I stopped here. The workers are very helpful and friendly, even when I wanted 4 dozen donuts at 0500. Always fresh, always good. By far one of my favorite donut places. read more

Donuts are just okay, noting to brag about. Every time I come here around 4-5am they never have any milk for sale, they have a very select selection, very basic. They never know what a Boston cream donut is. Overall I wish there was another donut shop in the area on my commute to work, if there was then I'd definitely pass this place up for another. Always leave disappointed and they always are apologetic yet never make changes. read more

I used to come here a lot when I was taking my kids to school. I'm horrible with names, which is why I was impressed by the girl working when she remembered my name and my usual order after months without seeing me come in. The friendly welcoming atmosphere is why I enjoy coming here. my kids always got hooked up with free donut holes. And the coffee is the best. read more
