We walked in here for our early caffeine fix and grabbed a Ham & Cheese Croissant while at it. The drip coffee seemed fresh, but had an oddly thick consistency so I couldn't really drink it and the sandwich was a bit too greasy for my taste. Customer service was okay. The shop is clean and organized with a couple of booths if you want to eat there. Besides donuts and coffee, they offer Smoothies, Boba, and a variety of Croissant Sandwiches. Business must be really slow. They sold us 2 miserably STALE donuts and began arguing (over a measly $3.00) furiously and disrespectfully about how they were 'fresh' after I brought them back. This place is tucked away in a shopping center with a couple good place to get some food, drink and maybe grocery shop. It's located across the way from Panda Express. Walking in I was greeted by a very nice young lady and she was knowledgeable on what they have to offer. I always love going to the pink box donuts and it's a childhood thing. Variety of donuts to choose from and drinks as well. I had to hurry and get out because two donuts would have became a dozen smh lol. The donut are fresh, and really good. We pit-stopped here before our AYSO Thunderbird Classic Tournament at Mountain View Middle School this morning. Wanted to get a sweet treat for our team in attempts to hopefully pump them up with a sugar rush before their two games. Place was kitty cornered in the shopping plaza, small, clean, warm and welcoming. The young male cashier that was assisting me was super friendly and helpful too. I really appreciated the fact that he was patient enough to answer all my questions about which donut was which, maybe they should put labels to make it easier. I got a dozen and a half assortment for $15. Great deal for some full sized donuts, also love any place that gives a military discount as well. The shop is located right across from Panda Express and directly next to Cold Stone Creamery. It is tucked away in a relatively busy plaza, where there is plenty of parking. Based on the numerous times I've been to this donut shop, I can honestly say that the quality of their donuts and amazing customer service always exceed my expectations. Their donuts are made fresh daily, reasonably priced, and have a huge selection! Customer service is outstanding--friendly and patient workers, positive attitude that creates a positive environment, and workers always throw in an extra donut! This donut shop is also the cleanest compared to the other donut shops I've been to. It's very spacious and there is plenty of indoor seating. I think it's a little ridiculous to be charging a $3 minimum to use a card. Not everyone wants more then one donut. And quite frankly I remember this place not having a minimum when using cards. It's not until after you move away from SoCal that you realize you've taken mom and pop doughnut shops for granted. I'm in NYC now and little mom and pop doughnut shops selling cheap doughnuts in a pink box don't exist. While I was in town, I drove by Better-Be Donuts one morning and actually made a U-turn to come try it. This doughnut shop is exactly what I expect when walking into a doughnut shop. Decent variety of doughnuts with a few seats if you decide to eat in. I was so excited and Better-Be didn't disappoint. I went with my two standards to try out this place. I had a glazed old-fashioned which had a nice crispy exterior and dense interior. The amount of glaze was just right and it wasn't too sweet. It was just sweet enough to be satisfying. I also tried a cinnamon crumb cake doughnut. The texture of the cake doughnut is pretty perfect. It was soft and fluffy, while also having some substance to it. Again, the cinnamon crumb was satisfyingly flavorful without being too sweet. The two doughnuts cost me less than $2. A great bargain for the quality. I'm used to paying somewhere around $3-4 for a doughnut at the fancier NYC places. I'd much rather have a Better-Be doughnut. read more

Great croissants. Filling is pretty sparse for the size of the croissant, so you get many bites of just bread.
