We came here after dinner with our friends. Since we moved from LA County, I am excited to stop by boba shop in the IE and hopefully find a local spot to support. We came here around 8/9 pm on a Monday night and it was empty. There was no sitting area, so it is a quick stop. A pro is that they had lots of options. Since it was our first time, I had asked for recommendations on the slushies and was recommended the taro slush. When I went to pick it up, it was a standard taro milk tea. I asked about this and they said that's not what I ordered. I felt confused since I asked for the recommendation, so not sure why I did not get the drink they recommended. Overall, I thought the taro milk tea was ok - nothing special. With that and the gaslighting about what drink I was supposed to get, I am not likely to come back. Hoping to find other spots in IE!
I love this boba place!!! I have tried a lot of their drinks and it all taste great!! But the one i would definitely recommend is the match creme brulee and the hokkaido milk tea. You can really taste the tea flavor and it is not overly sweet. Staff are really nice and never really had an issue. Place is kept clean. Its not really a big place to be able to enjoy my drink but it works because i just have it to go!
What a pleasant surprise! I was in Moreno Valley visiting a friend and we were craving boba. I immediately searched for nearby boba spots and found Tea Be Honest was about 8 miles from us. So the three of us jumped in the car for some boba. We all went with the dirty milk tea with boba. This was the recommendation of the employee that took my order. I asked him for something that was really sweet and dairy-free, and he suggested the dirty milk tea. We loved the flavor!!! I've never had boba with brown sugar in it, but yum! It almost has a coffee kind of flavor in the tea, but it is not really coffee of course. Super tasty and unique flavor! I've had boba many times but haven't tasted one like that. The employees were nice and friendly. They made our teas pretty quickly. We all left happy campers with our teas. We discussed coming back next time we are nearby. :)
The matcha milk tea very tasty! The worker are so nice! This is my third time here and my friends and I enjoyed the drinks we ordered earlier. The store is clean, there are some cards and board games can play with friends, the parking lot here is large, there are many parking Spaces. I like here!
I am revisiting my previous review that I made about a year ago. At first it was pretty decent, but I'm going to need to dock a star for the way this business has been regulating lately. This is the only option to get boba in the Moreno Valley area and it used to be a decent choice to get boba, but over time, this place has gone down hill a lot. Not only has my boba been undercooked a couple times, there has been grounded tea leaves at the bottom of my drink a couple times as well. Their tea has become watered down too unfortunately. Hardly any jasmine tea flavor nowadays! The cashiers and baristas are always so helpful and friendly normally. They work really hard to handle drinks, phone orders, and the daunting line that is always going outside. However, they need a better system or something to reinforce the current one they have. There is a sign that says 6 customers inside at a time, but the store is constantly getting filled! The employees rarely enforce the limited capacity rule and just allow the customers crowd the small shop. Not only that, they have no regard for any of the cutting that occurs in line! I have witnessed this a couple of times now at this location... There will be really rude customers in the store that would skip the line and go straight to the cashier. Not paying any attention to the line at the door! Although other customers in line call them out and tell them they were in line first, the cashier disregards their arguing and still takes that person's order! As someone who worked in customer service, I can understand wanting to avoid any trouble... but allowing customers to cut in line? This is unfair to the customers who are patiently waiting. Overall, I really hope this location will try to have a new system in the future. Possibly having a second line/cash register for phone orders? That way there will be no confusion. Also, I hope they will enforce social distancing and their limited capacity soon. It is becoming ridiculous. It has become really hard to support this business when there are so many issues that have been arising with their ongoing popularity.

Tea Be Honest is the only consistent boba shop I've been to in Moreno Valley. There's a huge menu for flavors, their serving cups have always been reusable and their boba is always cooked to perfection since Day 1. read more

Had a few of my colleagues raving about a coffee alternative so today I stop by to give it a try. First off I'm not a huge coffee or tea drinker but the blends that I was told Tea Be Honest has is comparable. The location is in a strip mall right off the freeway (60 freeway) which is very convenient. They have a large variety of drinks like fruity ones as well as milkshakes. I ordered the Carmel Vanilla MT (Milk Tea). I was pleasantly surprised. The flavor was good. Sweet (I like sweet) with a strong tea flavor. I ordered a large (because I thought the cup looked cool). The price was reasonable and the overall experience was great. The decor is minimal but fun and clean. The service was immediate and friendly. I could not finish the large in one day but that's because I'm not a huge tea drinker. The tea was a little strong for me....so I had to separate it and add more milk to tame the flavor a little. But I water down my coffee also lol. Great overall experience. They have some other drinks I want to try so I definitely be back. read more

We live about 5mins away from here and just recently discovered it! We've been going to Boba St and 85 degrees for our boba fix but I'm so glad I yelped for other boba spots and came across this one. Our first time there was on New Year's Eve and we've already been there 2 more times afterwards. My husband and mom usually gets the same drinks. My mom is grapefruit tea and my husband likes slushies. I on the other hand like to try a different drinks each time. I definitely recommend it if you're local. read more

TBH, this place is pretty okay. I'm not like a boba fiend, but I'm usually down to get boba and share tea with friends and what not, so I've been around the block to a boba tea house or two. There hasn't been a specialty milk tea spot in Moreno Valley until this placed showed up. It's a pretty small shop, so if there's a longer wait, you do have to wait outside before you place your order. Honestly, it's pretty overrated in my opinion. When this place first opened, I had a couple decent drinks. They do have a lot of option when it comes to tea flavors, options for slushees, and a bunch of toppings including different types of boba, "popping pearls," pudding and different kinds of foam. Lately, though, it's been pretty underwhelming. I've had a couple teas that taste a bit watered down or the boba has been too chewy. I realize it's the only one in town, so if you don't feel like driving the extra 9 mi on the freeway that's understandable and feel free to come. read more

To be honest, there were no specialty milk tea shops in Moval till Tea Be Honest burst into the scene. If your like me your use to driving to Riverside an exiting University to get milk tea. Tea Be Honest has just about everything you can want from a milk tea shop. They have a number of milk tea, iced tea and slush drinks with just about every add on you would expect. I especially like that they have cheese foam which still a lot of milk tea shops don't even carry. I've only tried a few drinks so far. If you like milk tea the Hokkaido milk tea is awesome. Best version of this drink I've had. A second option I think is equally good is the cream brûlée fresh milk. Dirty milk tea is also good with cheese foam. It taste like a regular milk tea just little bit more creamy and the cheese foam is a nice touch. I've also had the mani galaxy which is a nice drink remind me a lot of your tropical tea. You can probably get away with getting it 50% sweetened and still be sweet enough. The only other note is the milk teas with caffeine are pretty caffeinated as far as milk tea goes. Not as strong as coffee but still more so than other milk tea. It does at least give me a little pick of a pick me up. Decor wise maybe not as fancy as some milk tea shops but still modern. Time will tell if it's a place to study or stay at once things reopen but it is a good place to grab and go. Great place to try a lot options and still many drinks to try. Don't forget to sign up with loyalty program if you plan on becoming a regular. Happy Moreno Valley has a milk tea spot finally. read more

It's finally summer and the one thing I've been craving this quarantine season was boba! Moreno Valley has about half a dozen shops selling Paletas Mexicanas -- and they are bomb -- but the nearest and decent boba shops are outside this city (my favorites are Boba Tea House and Ding Tea in Riverside). Good thing Tea Be Honest opened up in MoVal because it is just what this city needs! And, regardless of the sketchy location, this shop is a true gem in MoVal. MENU Tea Be Honest has a large selection of drinks and snacks. Generally, one of my favorite drinks is a refreshing iced tea, like the Honey Kumquat Tea. It's citrusy, refreshing, and just the right amount of sweetness. It has some floral notes similar to lychee so I really love the 'zing' in this drink. Like the better boba shops, they also add fresh lemons, mint, and chia seeds -- easily why I got the same order again the following day! Also, another favorite is the Hokkaido Milk Tea. I enjoyed it more than the Dirty Milk Tea (MT). The Hokkaido MT tasted creamier and milkier than the Dirty MT, IMO. And you can't go wrong with a classic Taro Milk Tea. I can't wait to try the other flavors! ATMOSPHERE Because it just opened up, prepare to wait and don't forget to social distance while you're at it. Bring your mask! The interior is also decorated simply with modern decor. ORDER BY PHONE & PICK UP Yes, you can absolutely place your order via phone and pick up. We've done this twice since we had large orders and all drinks were accounted for. We didn't have to wait in the long lines. Just be sure to speak loudly (it's loud from the shop's end) and have the staff repeat your order to confirm the drinks. Tip: Communication is key! PARKING It is located in the same plaza where Stater Brothers is located so there are plenty of parking spaces. OVERALL Due to the rarity of great boba shops in this city, I'm giving this place a 5! Such a cute little tea shop! They have a variety of flavors from fruity teas to milk tea with boba! I tried the jasmine green tea with mango and strawberry flavoring and added mango boba which were so good! The tea itself was really good as well and they have tons of flavors to switch it up for next time! read more

Been going here a lot the past month and a half. Great little boba spot, Emphasis on SMALL. * Great variety * Fast * Clean * Decent pricing My 3 stars is due to order accuracy. Multiple times we've ordered extra toppings. We were definitely charged for it, but it was not for filled. It's ESPECIALLY hard to tell due to us getting drinks that was decorated with the brown sugar and that we prefer agar boba instead of tapioca. Yet it hasn't stopped us from driving 40 minutes to continue being their patrons! read more
Have been coming to this place multiple times. The beverages from Milk Tea to Fresh Fruit Tea variations, are all delicious. The place is little space yet has cute decorations. I would say this will be the most favorite boba place in Moreno Valley so far, due to limited offer, yet it is great one. So far the order method are by phone and come in person ones. I'd come here more often because its so closeby BUT it's so daunting just to even get boba here now. The line are always so long and it gets crowded - no social distancing. Pretty sure people have cutted lines here and the staff don't care. We also called to try and make an order but the line is always busy and they never answer. The business here should really step it up and start regulating things. Overall, just an inconvenience - think twice before stopping by here because you're bound to be standing out in the heat. Recently ordered the Strawberry Lover - it honestly just tastes like sour lemon! No strawberry flavor at all, idk if the 2-3 pieces of strawberry even helped LOL.. read more

Yes, you can order over the phone. I recommend paying over the phone by telling them your credit card number, so you don't have to wait in the long line! If you order on the phone without paying, you still need to wait in line to pay.
Do you guys change your pudding recipe sometimes? Sometimes it tastes really good (almost flan like) and other times it taste like a jello like pudding.
The pudding is homemade here! Whenever I get the pudding, it is more more flan-like... almost like a custard. Perhaps you got it on an off-day and it was made wrong?
