5/5 thanks to Taylor! I used to live in Riverside years ago and felt like the choice of boba and tea places was very minimal and lacking. I was pleasantly surprised when driving by the area that there was a highly rated boba place I hadn't been to before. When I walked in, I was surprised by how busy it was. There was a line for the kiosk and after I ordered my drinks, the line was consistently to the door. There was a very wide selection of drinks to choose from and I appreciate them having unique flavors and twists to drink. I was contemplating between a matcha einspanner and the oksusu (corn) matcha latte. When I asked if there was a way to mix the two, Taylor was super friendly and helpful to explain how each drink was made and differed from one another and then took the time to give me options on how I could change up my drink. I ended up going with the oksusu matcha latte because the Korean in me loves corn drinks but Taylor had the barista add a rim of matcha syrup that you typically get in the einspanner. I loved the oksusu flavored foam with the little crunchy puffs. The matcha flavor was a little lighter than I typically like but still props for the unique take. My hubby got the Hokkaido milk tea. It was definitely a very sweet drink with a caramel like syrup in it which is different than how we've had Hokkaido milk tea at other boba places. If you aren't into super sweet drinks, I would recommend going lighter on the sweet level. You order through the two available kiosks here. $8 for a banana crème latte filled with half ice and a quarter serving of cream was not worth its value. The staff were nice and quick, but the drink was not as enjoyable as can be. The inside was crowded and didn't have much seats to relax. There is plenty of room for improvement. read more

First Impression: Another new business in this spot. Interesting decor and oh - tablet ordering. Location: Located in the small strip plaza by del taco and canton. Parking is very limited and that lot gets very busy with people coming and going. Experience: When you walk in, the two tablets will be on the left hand side. We spontaneously popped in for some boba on a weekday evening! There was a kiosk you could order your drink from and see accurate pictures of the drink menu! We sat at barstool table and didn't wait too long for our drink. There are plenty of seats and tables inside, with a few customers getting work done on their laptops. Overall, it's a clean cafe. Came here on my way to Palm Springs as a friend recommended that this is best place for tea/boba in Riverside area. I think this place is very new since I went to UCR '24 and during my college years I haven't heard of this place. The prices are decent and the drinks are indeed the best in this area since I have tried multiple spots before. When I past by again, definitely will get some matcha here again. The service was pretty fast and they have self kiosk to order. Interior is very modern and clean, great study spot for students. read more

It is my first time having a matcha einspanner and I must say that it is delicious. Its matcha mixed with a cream too and im pretty sure oatmilk is used as well. I usually get jasmine green tea with the sea salt foam, but this was very intriguing to me. The place itself is very clean and they made my drink fast, but they say your name very quietly lol. saw that banana matcha was just added to the menu and I can't wait to try it next! My go to matcha place in the IE! I always get their banana matcha and it slaps every. single. time. I would say their other drinks are pretty good as well! Service is great and orders always get out super quick. Ambiance is really nice and okay for studying. Studying here (at least for me) has always been a hit or miss just because it can get loud from either the music playing on the speakers or other customers, so it just really depends. I ordered the Parmesan garlic curly fries and was surprised by how sweet they were--definitely not what I expected from a dish labeled garlic and Parmesan. When I asked, the staff kindly explained that they're made with added sugar. They did accommodate and remade them without the sugar, which I appreciated. That said, the flavor still didn't quite work for me, but I chose not to mention it further. Threw it all away. I also had a cold matcha--it had great flavor, just a bit too much ice for my taste. This place is sooo worth the drive. It's about a 30 minute drive from me & it never disappoints. The inside is so aesthetically pleasing. Great spot! The ambience is super nice and it's an amazing study spot. The workers were very kind and welcoming as well. My friends brought me here for my first time trying matcha, and it did not disappoint. The service was the fastest I've ever experienced as my order was ready before I even got to sit down. This was my second visit here - the first visit was great, I had tried the drinks and did not realize that they have some snacks on the menu. I think I forgot to write a review then but I did post some of the drinks we ordered and the inside of Boba St. We came back again and this time, we noticed that they had snacks! yay! We had the garlic parmesan curly fries. The portion was satisfying, flavors were bold and it was just as delicious as leftovers ( I heated them up in the oven before enjoying). The drinks were also great! Refreshing and delicious. There are plenty of parking but lot is very busy with traffic and people crossing. You can place your order with the staff or the tablet they've set up. There are a lot of customization for each drinks so you can really cater to your taste buds and preference. Not long after I place the order, they have both drinks and fries ready. The place is also decorated very cute. I love the red phone booth and benches, and all the wall decors. Boba St still remains to be one of my favorite shops for boba around Riverside. I've been here countless times and have tried many different drinks from their menu. There was maybe 1 drink I didn't like much, but I enjoy everything else. My go-tos now are the lychee fruit tea or the lychee yogurt smoothie. The lychee yogurt smoothie is delicious. The lychee flavor is strong and it goes so well with the yogurt. Their fruit teas have a strong tea base, but the tea is never overwhelming. Their boba texture is still a hit or miss for me unfortunately. I love how quick the service always is, I never find myself waiting any longer than 10 minutes for my drink. It usually comes out in less than 5. They also added a red telephone booth and some lights on the wall. The ambiance is pretty noisy, but it's a chill place to hang out with friends and play some board games, which they offer on their shelves. read more

ORDER hokkaido milk tea (4/5) this drink was definitely on the sweeter side, but sweetness can be adjusted. i got light ice, so my drink was not filled up all the way. overall, the tea was fragrant and the drink was flavorful. the golden boba was the perfect texture and tasted like honey. boba st is definitely one of the best boba shops in the area. lychee green tea (5/5) soo yummy and refreshing! i adjusted the sweetness to 75% and it was perfect. this drink paired perfectly with the lychee jelly. When they first started they were very good, clean, and fast. Today was a different experience, I have no complaints on the drink. Always amazing and the reason I would come back. However the place is DIRTY, bathroom smelled good but what you saw was unacceptable. The floors outside were so sticky and you can literally see how dirty they are, their counters also have a collection of dirt. I say a good cleaning wouldn't hurt the business. And with the service they didn't even call our name or number when our drinks were ready. So we just looked a little puzzled. Ok so first things first, I wish y'all were in OC because where have you been all my life lol. The boba texture and sweetness is perfect compared to a lot of other places where I'm from. The drink itself was also really good - I got a matcha latte and I LOVED it (unlike another place that touts itself as "the" place for matcha and then uses like barely a sprinkle of matcha powder in the drink). My only complaints: not being able to double the amount of a chosen topping at the order kiosk, and there seems to be some addition of vanilla to the matcha latte, and I'm a bit of a purist with matcha, hahaha. Unfortunately this place is quite far for me but if and when I am back in the area, I am absolutely coming back. read more

Boba St is one of my new favorite boba shops. Located in Moreno Valley on Frederick St, just south of the 60 freeway (between Canton Chinese Food and The UPS Store, and across from Del Taco). PARKING There are a few parking stalls in front of this shop but gets very busy especially during peak hours since the lot is shared with the surrounding businesses. If you're short on time, I would suggest parking in one of the main lots near HomeGoods and just walking around the corner to this shop to avoid the congestion.
