Stopped by here with my colleagues on our way to do some work in Chico. We were pleasantly surprised at the variety of food options. You can choose to build your own burger, sandwich, wrap, quesadilla, or salad! And don't forget to pair your entree with one of their amazing juices/smoothies. One of my colleagues got the hamburger and it was delicious, the meat was very fresh and paired perfectly with a smoothie in a hot summer day! I decided to build my own sandwich starting with a toasted sourdough bread, pastrami, swiss cheese, tomatoes, lettuces, cucumbers, and sprouts which turned out fantastically if I do say so myself. Me and a buddy met at twisted cafe to chat on a Friday evening around 5:30. The Mocha was insanely delicious but the hours say open until 7:30 they closed at 6:15-6:20 and though we weren't done with our drinks or chatting they kicked us out. Please change your hours so people don't have to get there order and leave! We hung out in front after they closed and 2 people came by and asked us if they were closed and that was at 7:00pm that could have been 2 more potential customers! Otherwise again mocha was awesome and staff was very nice just sucks when you see "closed at 7:30pm" then you have to leave at 6:20! read more

I have had a few friends that worked here in the past otherwise I would have probably never heard about it. The name of the place makes me think of a healthy alternative type of restuarant. It seems like they have alot of smoothie options and whatnot when looking through their menu. Anyways, I was nearby and just wanted something for a late brunch when I woke up. I ordered around 1:30pm on Wednesday thru DoorDash. My order was as follows; a Large Beef Burrito in a Spinach Wrap and I added Potatoes, Medium Chunky Salsa & Cream Cheese. A Monster Burrito with Pepper Jack & Cream Cheese in a Chile Tomato Wrap. Last but not least, I had to try the Herb & Cheese Cream Cheese Bagel. The food was delivered in a sufficient amount of time and was hot and ready to eat. As for the burrito with Salsa, that has to be "Pace" brand grocery store salsa. No way that is made in-house. Definitely overpowered and ruined the burrito. Maybe the things I chose didn't pair well with others, so no shame there. For around $6 I don't think a bagel with cream cheese was good enough to boast that price tag. That's probably regular price at most other establishements though. Overall, just confused with what they are doing here and the food left me feeling not the best or healthy and quite lathargic. I think I will give it another try with something different next time. Half the staff isn't following COVID precautions, so if you're a high health risk or immune compromised I'd definitely think twice before eating here. Otherwise, the smoothies are always tasty and if you order ahead your food is always ready when you arrive, after the given time. If you order in store you can expect about a twenty minute wait, which is fine if you're not in a hurry. To order, fill out a paper menu on the table by the front desk and just give it to the cashier. Check all the boxes of what you want. Super easy. The food menu has expanded into a variety of offerings that fit whatever you might be feeling when you drop in. Surprisingly, for such a wide variety of options, I've yet to try something that wasn't good. The breakfast burritos and hotdogs deserve special mention in that regard. She had the Pina Coloada and I got The Hulk, based on recommendations from others online. I had the crescent breakfast sandwich, which was super buttery and flaky, with bison sausage, egg and cheese. The bison sausage is a little tough but delicious. She got the veg with eggs wrap and it was packed with fresh veg. Were both left very full and satisfied. Honestly, I used to really love this place. Especially as someone who doesn't have access to a car, it was really great to be able to order doordash and have a reliably delicious meal that I didn't have to cook myself. The reason for my low rating is because of egregious price hiking. Last month, I was able to get a burrito from them for $12. Now, not even a full month later, that same burrito is SEVENTEEN DOLLARS. And it isn't the only item to see a price increase like that--most of the menu would be completely unrecognizable if you were to compare prices from this month to the previous one. How can anyone justify a price increase like that, in such a short period of time? A nearly 40% increase in under a month just makes no sense. Momentary greed will drive away a lot of long-term customers. As good as the food is, it's not good enough to justify paying those kinds of prices. read more

They offer smoothie samples and answer any questions. The menu is extensive and a lot to take in, especially if you're indecisive like I am. They have options for gluten free, vegan and paleo diets as well. It's nice to find fresh juices, smoothies, and coffee drinks in one spot and sandwiches, burgers, soup and salad as well.
