The burgers and fries are huge and tasty. There are many customizations you can do in regards to sauce and toppings. But the chicken sandwich was extremely dry and didn't have much flavor apart from just being spicy. The service is awful, we were in an empty restaurant and the hostess visited us twice the entire meal. No refill on our waters which were empty almost our entire visit, we asked for silverware for the table and she brought us only 1 set (we were a table of 5). I asked for ranch for the table, and she brought us 2. There was zero urgency to bring us our bill once we finished eating. I wouldn't return solely for the lack of service. read more

Amazing flavor from the bacon jam and cheddar cheese, chicken is juicy and large, I could only finish one half so very filling. Service is super great and owner is wonderful. I had a take out order and the lady at the from was still so sweet and kind. If you love diners drive ins and dives this place gave that vibe, also they had it running on every tv! I think it's hard to get great service even if the order is takeout so they executed that well, I believe I got to speak to the owner super down to earth guy and I was surprised there wasn't that many people there. The food is well worth the locational issues I have with Slyderz. The popper burger was fantastic. The cream cheese/raspberry sauce combo is so fantastic with the jalapeños. The bun is fresh and fluffy but holds well. My one complaint is the onion rings are not as crispy so they don't hold up as well on the burger so it does miss a little extra crunch. But flavor wise it is one of the best burgers I've ever had. The calienta burger was solid from the bite I had, the wife enjoyed it and it looked really good. The kid got their Mac and cheese with corn, she absolutely devoured the corn. The Mac n cheese was solid for a kids dish. We also got the fire fries which was pretty fantastic. The fries alone are nice thick yet crispy and fluffy frie. Then topped with some spicey sauces and chicken and jalapeños. Inside is really nice and clean. We had lunch on a Friday around 1pm or so and it was pretty empty so I do hope it stays in business. The waitress was very nice and responsive. Was good with refills and all. Location is my biggest issue cause it's in a section of town I never go to and I'm not a fan of the parking lot area. Not a huge killer but still wish it was some where else. read more

I rarely rate a restaurant a one-star, because I can always find something great about them. I was not impressed and I would not recommend. While the food may look picture perfect, that's about all it was. The Brisket was cold and the grainy fat beads made it taste like I was biting into lard. The Mac and cheese was mushy, and the cornbread was stale and hard. Do not go here for lunch. Long wait times and poor service. Went here on Saturday at 2pm and couldn't review until now. Believe me , if i make it a point to find time to review a few days later, it's delicious!!!!! I wish we could have got the waitresses name. It was her second day and she was absolutely amazing! My drink was always full and i had everything i needed. Soda float is a new thing apparently and I mean, is it a soda float if theres milk instead of soda? Also for soda, they ask what soda you want, iirc, the options are just coke products. They have a wide range of flavors for the ice cream tho, that was cool. My dad chose the most basic flavor so disappointed. Does it still hold up? 100/10!! I went here last night with family and have never heard of or seen this place before. The food was ABSOLUTELY DEVINE! I got the Bourbon Bacon Vinaigrette Salad and added the smoked brisket. When I tell you I haven't stopped thinking about this salad... I literally left and immediately wanted another one. The service was PHENOMENAL! The waitress we had was super sweet, kind, friendly, and helpful! The building was very clean and tidy and also very aesthetic lol! The bbq isn't consistently great, but the one time I had it where it reminded me of the bbq in the south has me coming back. All of the burgers I've tried so far are very well crafted and delicious. I wasn't a fan of their nachos. The chili was really good! Service is always fast and friendly. The drinks are pretty good. I highly recommend giving it a try. read more

I was greeted quickly and given the menu. The water came when the server appeared to take my order. I chose a Classic Burger with fries and a lemonade. For a Monday only a little past the lunch hour, it was pretty quiet. Since this is their new location on Nord, it may not have been discovered yet. The service was good. I was checked on a couple of times and a refill was offered on the lemonade. My water glass went empty, however. The fries were excellent. They were hot and crispy. The serving was generous as well. Given that burger is advertised as a premium product, and charged that way, I expected it to match the promise. For me, preparation is very important. When I order it medium rare, I expect ping and juicy. The taste was fine, but the patty was a strong medium to medium well in the center and well done around the outside. Since the original product had great potential, it was disappointing that the delivered sandwich was dry and chewy. On the plus side, it was well dressed with fresh ingredients. The BBQ sauce was also very good. I brought the state of the burger to the attention of the server and the reply was that this was commonly happening lately. That response was a little bit of a surprise. If you know that there is a problem, it shouldn't continue to be a problem. I've been in Chico for about a year and a half two years and today I took my daughter, son and three grandkids to slyderz for lunch. When we walked in, there was only one other table in the whole place that had people in it that should've been my indication, but I had been wanting to try them so we stayed. The food was all just food. There was nothing special about it. The brisket was like pulled pork. It wasn't even like brisket and so much sauce you could not even tell if it was good and tender. It was shredded. The macaroni and cheese was horrible, macaroni and cheese out of a box taste better and then they put Cheez-It crumbs on the top of it. Not only was the food not good, and the service was horrible. The girl never came and asked us how things were. Would we like a refill? The most impressive service I have ever had inside a restaurant of any kind. AMANDA WAS AWESOME! Give that girl a raise. Answered every question and even let us try multiple sauces for free with a few fries. It's also just really cute inside with all of the seasonal decorations.
