Amazing flavor from the bacon jam and cheddar cheese, chicken is juicy and large, I could only finish one half so very filling. Service is super great and owner is wonderful. I had a take out order and the lady at the from was still so sweet and kind. If you love diners drive ins and dives this place gave that vibe, also they had it running on every tv! I think it's hard to get great service even if the order is takeout so they executed that well, I believe I got to speak to the owner super down to earth guy and I was surprised there wasn't that many people there. Definitely going back 10000/10 for me.

The interior is clean and great aesthetics. The server was so nice and helpful. We ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich which wasn't too hot and tasted delicious. We ordered the Brisket plate, the meat was so good and so were the fries but the cornbread and mac n cheese wasn't a favorite. We also ordered the 6 bone in wings with the smokehouse rub which were very delicious.

The food is well worth the locational issues I have with Slyderz. The popper burger was fantastic. The cream cheese/raspberry sauce combo is so fantastic with the jalapeños. The bun is fresh and fluffy but holds well. My one complaint is the onion rings are not as crispy so they don't hold up as well on the burger so it does miss a little extra crunch. But flavor wise it is one of the best burgers I've ever had. The calienta burger was solid from the bite I had, the wife enjoyed it and it looked really good. The kid got their Mac and cheese with corn, she absolutely devoured the corn. The Mac n cheese was solid for a kids dish. We also got the fire fries which was pretty fantastic. The fries alone are nice thick yet crispy and fluffy frie. Then topped with some spicey sauces and chicken and jalapeños. Inside is really nice and clean. We had lunch on a Friday around 1pm or so and it was pretty empty so I do hope it stays in business. The waitress was very nice and responsive. Was good with refills and all. Location is my biggest issue cause it's in a section of town I never go to and I'm not a fan of the parking lot area. Not a huge killer but still wish it was some where else.

First time. This place rocks. We will definitely be back to try new options. Next time happy hour.

BBQ PLATE: with pulled pork with a side of chili, Mac and cheese, and cornbread

The food was average at best. The pulled pork was delicious. The service was great! The ambiance was decent.

    Bacon Burger with Onion Rings

We stopped here on a Friday night after Christmas. It was fairly quiet and we were able to get a table easily at 7pm. I ordered the Bacon Burger with Onion Rings. The food was delicious. One of the best burgers I've had in a long time and onion rings. If you are in the area and are looking for a casual place to grab a meal I would recommend trying this place!

I rarely rate a restaurant a one-star, because I can always find something great about them. I was not impressed and I would not recommend. While the food may look picture perfect, that's about all it was. The Brisket was cold and the grainy fat beads made it taste like I was biting into lard. The Mac and cheese was mushy, and the cornbread was stale and hard. Do not go here for lunch. Long wait times and poor service. I went there at lunch, ordered at the register and it took 40 minutes for the food to come out.

Went here on Saturday at 2pm and couldn't review until now. Believe me , if i make it a point to find time to review a few days later, it's delicious!!!!! I wish we could have got the waitresses name. It was her second day and she was absolutely amazing! My drink was always full and i had everything i needed. I am also handicapped and part of my condition left me with a paralyzed mouth. she talked to me like a normal person and was not scared to ask me questions and had no problem getting anything i needed. onto the good. the mac and cheese bites were the best i've ever had!! the burger, amazing! The macaroni and cheese with chili and pulled park was another bowl of delicious. we are from marysville and just wanted out of the house so decided on a drive to chico and randomly picked here to stop. best random pick ever we will be back! Inside was cool, cozy, and comfortable on a hot afternoon!

Came back with my fam this time. Ive been needing my burger fix, no place does it as good as Slyderz baby!! Burgers still amazing. I was gonna order cowboy again to make sure it still as good as I remember it. I only took a bite cause my dad actually wanted to order it. Off of one bite cant tell you much. Sister says its alright but she always says that. All American: I ordered the all american this time. This one was also amazing. One thing Ive noticed that stands out in this burger than the other burger places Ive tried, the sauce is delicious! The sauce is pulling their burgers to a whole new level. What I learned, Always order sauce. Fries, from my memory I said it was bad, the side fries are actually alright, way better than the salad. Its just, if ur shy of salt, then beware cause these fries are extra salty. I love salt so this is a win. Soda float is basically just coke and ice cream. You can make it at home but for what its worth, it was pretty good, I mightve been a little thirsty when I drank it tho. It had the perfect level of sweetness. You can never go wrong with ice cream anything. Salad, was the least good part of this meal. Not even dressing Extra We came in right before closing time but they allowed us to do takeout which was nice so this review is based on takeout but we did eat it pretty much right away after getting it. Never noticed their outside sign glows maybe its new. I dont think they ask you what sauces you want so you better bring it up yourself what sauce you want for your burger Ordering process was different this time, for some burgers like cowboy, they ask what cheese you want? For every burger, at the end they just list all the veggies like lettuce tomato onions, I just said yes. Soda float had an option between milk or soda? Soda float is a new thing apparently and I mean, is it a soda float if theres milk instead of soda? Also for soda, they ask what soda you want, iirc, the options are just coke products. They have a wide range of flavors for the ice cream tho, that was cool. My dad chose the most basic flavor so disappointed. Does it still hold up? Yes, I think the ingredients even as a takeout are still amazing quality and after dissecting it a bit more Ive realized their sauce is impeccable! 5/5

We only ordered sweet potato fries. They were very good and the portion size was amazing. The main reason for the five stars is the bartender. I did not get his name but he was great. From the moment you walk up, it's got that classic brick and wood feel that says you're about to eat well. Step inside and you're greeted by a wall of taps that feels like a beer lover's playground. The place hums... great music, good energy, and a staff that's clearly in rhythm with it all. We didn't mess around with the order. My daughter went with the blue cheese burger special, her boyfriend took on the bacon jalapeño burger, and I went straight for the pastrami burger. Every one of them came out looking like a culinary masterpiece. The blue cheese had that perfect balance... bold but not overpowering as they are want to be. Her boyfriend said the bacon jalapeño brought just enough heat to keep things interesting without stealing the show, probably too weak for me ;). My pastrami burger was a heavyweight... stacked, savory, and the kind of messy you don't even try to clean up until you're done. Think Katz deli melding with a west coast hip scene burger. Now let's talk onion rings... because these deserve it. Golden, crispy, and just the right crunch when you bite in. Not greasy, not soggy, just dialed in exactly how they should be. Add the garlic sauce and now you're playing a different game altogether. That sauce is not optional, it's essential and fabulous on everything. The beer selection is deep, the kind where you stand there for a minute pretending you're making a thoughtful decision when really you just want to try everything. Service was on point from start to finish. No waiting around, no chasing anyone down... just attentive, easy, and done right. Only downside, and it's not really their fault, is parking. Downtown Chico can make you work a little for it. But once you're inside, with a cold beer in hand and a burger staring you down, you won't care how far you walked. I will be back, it is well worth the money.

I especially loved the curly cheese fries, and the fried chicken sandwich was good too. The place is steeped in history. I'm not really a bar person and the energy isn't quite my vibe, but there's a lot to appreciate--especially the wild ceilings packed with random items. It's unique and full of character, even if it isn't perfectly aligned with my usual preferences. My husband, a local who grew up in Butte County, shared some great stories about his Chico State days, back when this was still a quieter town of wealthy families with unpaved roads. Those little pieces of local history made the visit even more interesting. A solid, character-filled stop if you enjoy the Bar vibe, you're hungry after a hike and open to a place with real personality.

When we got our food, the boys' burgers were not the way they had ordered them (one had cheese and the other had tomatoes). And it wasn't clear was whose was whose. I blame my daughter for this review…read more Last week we were headed to sushi when the smell coming from Parkside Tap House ambushed us on the sidewalk. Being pregnant, she's operating with heightened food detection abilities that rival military technology, so she immediately declared, "We're coming back here." A week later we returned with her boyfriend and brother, and what followed can best be described as a competitive eating event. The hostess greeted us warmly, got us seated quickly, and we settled into the lively outdoor patio. Great atmosphere, cold drinks, sports on the TVs, and just enough energy to feel fun without feeling chaotic. We started with ahi bites, beer cheese pretzels, jalapeño poppers, and Brussels sprouts. The ahi bites were fantastic. Fresh ahi, creamy avocado, crispy wontons, and a little heat at the finish line. The pretzels were soft enough to pull apart with your fingers and the beer cheese was rich and addictive. The jalapeño poppers got an unexpected upgrade from the blackberry BBQ sauce, which gave them a sweet, smoky personality all their own. Then there were the Brussels sprouts. Whoever thought of pairing Brussels sprouts with blackberry drizzle deserves a raise. Sweet, savory, crispy, tender, and impossible to stop eating. For dinner we sampled the taco bowl, brisket bowl, rice bowl loaded with brisket, and a house salad. The taco bowl was colorful, fresh, and loaded with flavor. The brisket bowl was my personal favorite. Smoky brisket over fried rice with vegetables, crispy wontons, cotija cheese, and a sweet-spicy sauce that kept me digging in long after I should have stopped. The rice bowl with added brisket was almost comical when it arrived. Massive chunks of brisket perched on top like they owned the place. Tender, smoky, juicy, and worth every penny. Even the house salad was fresh enough to remind us we were technically eating vegetables. What stood out most was that every dish felt like someone in the kitchen actually cared. Nothing felt thrown together. Portions were generous, flavors were bold, and everything hit the table looking as good as it tasted. We originally found Parkside by following our noses. After this meal, we'll be following our cravings back
