I'm so with Liz B. on this one - I will never buy seafood anywhere else. The store is a pretty decent size, very, very clean and does NOT smell like fish. The servers are so polite and helpful and I noticed all the patrons were civilized; there was no pushing, shoving or yelling; everyone just politely waited their turn. They have another store in St. Lawrence Market which we've been to on numerous occasions but, being from Etobicoke and all the closures on the Gardiner, this is far more convenient. It's on Vansco, a side street that runs off North Queen but, for those of you who aren't too familiar with the area, you can catch it off the Queensway (very close to IKEA). I could see this being convenient for those of you in east Mississauga. You won't have trouble with parking as they have a private lot. I paid with debit but I'm sure they accept most major credit cards. They have frozen shrimp, scallops, lobster tails, etc. in all sizes. I also recall seeing cans of crabmeat and smoked salmon as well. As for the fresh fish, there was sea bass, grouper, catfish, swordfish, sole, tuna, etc. - lots to choose from. The tuna looked like it was sushi grade. They also had an array of fresh shell fish as well such as oysters, mussels, huge scallops and shrimp. For the pre-made food, some of the selections were stuffed sole, some awesome looking crab-stuffed calamari and I saw a stuffed salmon (very similar looking to what Costco sells). They also have specialty groceries on a separate side but I was on my lunch break so I didn't have too much time on my hands to browse. Anyway, I bought six calamari tubes with a whole bunch of tentacles for $10.25 and six large, fresh shrimp for $3.95 - great deal!

I chose the following brands/producers: - Stephanies (looked handmade) - Starsky (as I liked it in their deli cooked-food section :) I cooked them at home (see pictures). I liked Stephanies'. Good sour punch from generous stuffing, and it had this bold, natural and great strong wheat texture. And Wieners. We tried the following wieners. - Vienna - German - European - Pork I liked German. The case was thin and crispy, and interior had somewhat creamy flavor and texture. My partner liked Pork - it also had a good crispiness on the outside, and super juiciness inside. Good Oktoberfest sausage is hard to find, and they have it. It is meaty and juicy. Did not have the smoothness that I hoped for, but still, it was good and I liked it. I was also impressed by the selection of Haribo candies!!!! (look at the pictures) Heaven for candy lovers. Will come here even when we don't need to head to the Pearson Airport.

We started with one of their specials, the Shrimp Donuts. My dining companion assumed they'd be actual donuts with shrimp flavors, but this is definitely not that. It's essentially shrimp pieces shaped into a deep-fried donut. And it's good, real good. It arrived to the table piping hot, and I took a big old bite right away. The flavors are right on point, and the whole thing is enhanced by the accompanying sweet sauce. It's a terrific appetizer (although awfully expensive at $12 for four of them). For our main, we went with the Khao Soi ("Soft and crispy egg noodles, golden curry, coconut milk, spring onion, red onion, crispy shallot, lime, pickled veg") and we got that Spicy. It's a really solid version of this iconic dish. It's maybe not up there with the best adaptations I've had, but it's quite good. The broth is super flavorful and rich, while the other components are right on point. The spice level was perfect, too. The service was top notch, as well, so I have no doubt we'll be returning to Thai Barn Na at some point.

I think that Fresh Rolls is not inferior compared to other high-end restaurants surrounding and at Sherway Gardens, the price was reasonable and you get what you pay for. Definitely better than going to the fancy restaurants nearby where they serve expensive food and small portions. After shopping at Sherway Gardens, my friend and I decided to try to dine at Fresh Rolls for the first time. We were kindly greeted at the entrance by the server and led to our table. The ambiance was very nice, with elegant white table cloths and napkins on the tables and a candle on each. The restaurant was surrounded with plants, light decorations and even a fish tank at the front and the side. The interior definitely made us feel like we're dining at a fancy restaurant however it was also cozy and relaxing. The server was definitely kind. The woman that served us had a little accent but it was still comprehensible. She talked to us a lot during our wait and made lots of recommendations according to our tastes. I thought the service was fairly good with the waiter often checking our table for water refills and for small talk to check on our thoughts on our meals. At first I thought the prices would be pricey because of the location at Sherway, but it's reasonable compared to the surrounding restaurants. There was no Pho on the menu but the waiter kindly explained that it was because the restaurant focused mainly on the Viet-Thai fusion dishes rather than just the regular Pho Viet dishes, which is understandable. I ordered the Shrimp Fresh Rolls as appetizer and the Chicken Pad Thai for the main course along with Ginger Tea. The wait was not very long and when my dish came, it looked great. You could tell the ingredients are fresh. The Pad Thai was very flavourful and the fresh rolls were simply delicious. I shared it with my friend. I was a huge fan of the ginger tea. I usually order ginger tea where it's offered but I would admit that it's the best that I've tasted so far compared to the other restaurants. It definitely has a deep rich taste. I'm surprised their beverages were as good as their dishes. My friend ordered the Coconut Soup and the fried rice in the pineapple shell and it was exquisite! I thought it was a creative and smart idea to serve it that way. The fried rice was delicious alone, however the tanginess and the sweetness from the pineapple shell helped boost the dish's flavour. Turns out it was a dish that Fresh Rolls got featured in the newspaper for! Definitely approved and would recommend! I mean, it was even featured in the newspaper, of course it would be delicious! Overall, my visit was simply great. I noticed on the menu when I ordered that the lunch specials were a good deal and definitely cheaper that the dinner menu. I would definitely come again and would invite other friends and family to try the lunch specials, as the menu looks as great as the dinner dishes. And guess what? They also do delivery! I am definitely going to try ordering new dishes while at work, maybe also for my coworkers even. 5/5! read more

Overall, I went there twice so far and it was simply great. I recommend ordering from the lunch specials menu instead since they are definitely cheaper than the dinner menu. The customer service was awful, especially from the older lady who was incredibly rude ( rolled her eyes when we asked her a question) The food was just average--not worth the high prices they charge. When I asked the waiter, he mentioned that they no longer have glasses available. He asked us instead if we were OK to order bottled water instead. I find it unacceptable that customers have to be directed to a paid option instead of a commodity that should have been free. Whatever the case may be, they should have more than enough clean dishes to serve water in. There were just too many bad things to happen for me to leave a good recommendation.

Food: 3/5 - I got the chicken, brisket and beef ball pho. The broth was very clear but I found it very salty. You get a few slices of brisket and those were tender. You only get 2 beef balls. It's chicken breast and very dry. The server was shocked we only got 1 bowl of pho each and that we didn't get any appetizers. So we said we'll see when the food gets here. I personally thought the small was more than enough for me.

The food is ok. When you hungry you can fill the stomach. The young employee very nice to server…read morethe customer. Every time we come back the food sometimes is good , sometimes is so so. The food here is average. They have a pretty good service.
