I'd like to give this place another shout out. They are so friendly and caring plus the food is so pure, fresh and delicious. Recently discovered their chili oil and it's amazing. We normally eat in because we love sitting in the comfy booths. The other day I ordered takeout for the family and they helped me carry my order to the car. I could have managed but they insisted. Five stars for some five star service! read more

Pho House is a staple spot that never disappoints. we ordered the Tiger Shrimp Thai Red Curry, Pho, and Thai Fried Rice, and everything was delicious. The portions are generous, making it great value for the quality and taste. The service is always friendly and efficient, adding to the overall great experience. The environment is simple but inviting, with ample seating for a comfortable meal. Whether you're craving a hearty bowl of pho or flavorful Thai dishes, Pho House is a solid choice in Etobicoke, located on Kipling Avenue (close to Kipling station). read more

Being from out of town I wasn't sure what I was walking into but upon entering, it was very clean and looked almost brand new. Very friendly staff and service was fast. My chicken pho with added veggies was so yummy and colorful. The broth was very flavorful. I would definitely return again to try more items on menu read more

unless you like MSG, I won't recommend this place. Their pho soup is not good, paying cash gives you no discount. we ordered a coffee ..thinking that it would be a traditional Vietnamese coffee....guess again, it was probable powered coffee from a jar and it wasn't cheap. read more

trustworthy Pho for sure, not all the option you might get from other places but the broth is good flavored, not very fatty and delicious. Service is always good and resto is always welcoming, clean and buzzing. Kid friendly and solid other menu options to try- highly recommend, read more

I visited for dinner on Boxing Day, a Sunday, and it wasn't busy at all, just one other table besides mine. They had plenty of people coming in to pick up to-go orders, though. Service was prompt and friendly. I ordered the chicken spring rolls, beef vermicelli, and mango juice; all delicious. The chicken spring rolls are deep fried and very tasty with mixed veg in with the meat. The beef vermicelli (bún bò nướng) was a large portion with lots of marinated beef, noodles, and mixed veg. The best part was honestly the fresh mango juice, so refreshing. I also got a strawberry bubble tea to go (tapioca pearls are extra), and it was more like a smoothie than a tea but it was still good. My meal was about $29, which I think is a good price considering all the food I got. The staff was very friendly and I would visit here the next time I'm in the area. read more

We happened to be in the area and I noticed Pho House was nearby, so, given that I can never say no to Vietnamese food, we walked through the doors around dinner time on a recent Friday. We snagged a nice booth right away and began looking over the menu, even though I knew exactly what I was going to order. It may sound boring, but I pretty much always get the exact same thing whenever I'm in a Vietnamese joint: Grilled Beef & chicken spring roll ("Bun Bo Nuong, Cha Gio"). First, though, we decided to start with an appetizer: Crispy Calamari ("Lightly seasoned crispy calamari"). It arrived fairly quickly and looked tasty enough. But the first few bites told us that this was, to put it mildly, a very subpar take on fried calamari. The breading was relatively fine, but the calamari itself was super rubbery and difficult to chew. My dining companion called it the worst calamari she'd ever eaten, and I can't really argue with that statement. I was still holding out hope for my main, though. And while it's definitely an improvement over that awful starter, the dish lands somewhere firmly in the middle of the various other versions of it that I've eaten over the years (i.e. it's neither the best nor the worst iteration). The noodles were way overcooked and the beef was kind of tough, but otherwise the dish contained the flavors that I've come to expect. The included fish sauce effectively ties the whole thing together, too. Perhaps I made a mistake ordering anything other than pho from a place called Pho House. I'll return someday to see if that's indeed the case. read more

Not awful. The food was pretty good but it's very strange that they charge for hot tea. Every pho restaurant I go to offers complimentary hot tea but Pho House charges per pot. I feel they take advantage of people who are not frequent pho eaters in the area by doing this which I don't like. Besides that the food was ok but I'd go elsewhere as there's much better pho places in Mississauga that's worth it to drive to from Etobicoke. read more

Place is clean and serving staff are attentive! Tried the well done pho with beef balls and was underwhelmed by the flavours or the temperature of the broth. A decent option for the area, but won't be my go to spots if I can drive the same distance and go to Golden Turtle on Ossington. read more

Great Service. Delicious Pho. Little to no wait time. This was the perfect spot for a quick weeknight bite. Our food came in under 10 minutes and our servers were on top of it the entire time. So kind and sweet - we were greeted upon leaving and entering. We ordered vegetable and chicken pho with rice noodles and a side of spring rolls, which were generous in size. I would definitely recommend ordering a small, as the portions are massive. It was a soothing meal for what was a cold night. The place was almost full for a Thursday night. I thought it was well-priced and delicious. I would definitely return. read more

We have been going there for years the food and service are great! Very comfortable experience!

This is a great local Viet/Thai place in Etobicoke, the flavours are similar to traditional Vietnamese cooking. We came here with a group of 7 on a Thursday evening and it was not too busy. Service was fast, and we ordered an assortment of things. Each dish was decently packed, I found that my bún tht nn & ch giò (Vermicelli with grilled beef and spring rolls) could have been more flavourful. My friend ordered the chicken pad thai and said it was delicious, a large serving so she brought some home. Another friend ordered an avocado smoothie but said it was tasteless and she wouldn't be able to name the flavour had she not known. Overall, if my friends want to try some Viet or Thai this place is my go-to for something not too pricey. The atmosphere of the restaurant is pretty classy, but not overly fancy. read more

The food was delicious, I ordered the red curry beef with rice. However, I was given the red curry with chicken instead... the order was taken incorrectly. It was still delicious nonetheless. The prices are quite reasonable. Service was very underwhelming -- The staff just wanted to close down the restaurant for the evening and didn't bother refilling my glass of water once in the 1.5 hours I was there. The staff also stared at my friend from the cashier area -- making her visibly uncomfortable/prompting us to leave -- even though there was still 20 minutes to closing time and they had removed all of our plates/napkins/cutlery/condiments. read more

This cozy restaurant has a family-friendly atmosphere and features some of Toronto's best phö. And even if you are like me and skip the appetizers you'd be missing some real delights like their Crispy Spring Rolls, a lightly crunchy wrapping around succulent fillings that could included veggies, seafood or chicken. My other personal favourite is the Crispy Calamari that offers a delicately crunchy batter surrounding tender strips with a plummy dipping sauce. If phö isn't your thing the orange chicken is a delicious alternative. But if you are a phö fan like me they offer a great variety. So far my pick is the Chicken & Well Done Beef Rice Noodle Soup. I like mine with lots of fresh basil and bean sprouts. But we always make sure to leave some room for the endearingly sweet Vietnamese coffee. It makes an excellent dessert! read more

Very casual place for a quick Vietnamese warm up meal. This place gets busy but turnover is fast so if you have to wait, like we did today, it will be less than 5 minutes. The service is pleasant and expedient. Today we both had the Tom Yum soup with noodles. It was on our table within 5 minutes from placing our order. One of the soups was tofu and vegetable and the other soup was shrimp and chicken. The soups usually do not come with noodles but we like to add them in and it is like a dollar or so more per soup. Delicious soups with a serving of fresh veggies, at least, in each bowl. Big enough portions that we took about half home. And we even skipped the fresh rolls which we usually get as an appetizer. What you get at Pho House is great value and very consistent quality with fast service. Check it out when you can! read more

I have to admit I am normally not big on pad Thai but the family wanted to order. My family enjoyed their food and I was impressed with the chicken wings. This restaurant is very near to my school and has good service here. I tried Pho and if u like spicy, u can order sicpy satay soup, more delecious. One time I tried Bun Thit Nuong and this is not yummy but also not too bad, still okei but I dont like it. The wrost food here is Thailand food, I tried 2 times, one was green curry, one was Pad Thai. OMG so yucky. I still give 4 stars bc vietnamese food still yummy, service good, serve food fast, background clean. read more

I have been coming to Pho House for many years and I have never been disappointed! The best Vietnamese & Thai cuisine in Etobicoke! Average pricing & lots of parking! I really love the broth of the beef pho! It's one of the best broths I've tried. Service is always so quick and everyone is very friendly! The pad Thai is really delicious and one of my favorites! The chicken or vegetable pad thai is my all time favourite! A great portion size and really filling! You really can't go wrong with this location, everything is worth trying! read more

Second time coming here; the food is good but the service is even better! I've only had the Chicken Rice Noodle Soup (Pho) but unfortunately I'm not impressed with the chicken they put in their soup. It seems to be over-cooked and dry (how that's possible in a soup...I'm not sure! And the quality of the chicken needs improvement). The service is always great. They've always got more staff in than they need, but it's great because you're seated and served quickly. I had the Pho the other day, and it literally came out in 2 minutes. I was starving, so I was very appreciative. The 2 times I had gone in there, there were maybe 5 or 6 tables occupied and tons more available. If you want your quick fix of Pho, it's definitely worth a try. I will probably be trying the Rare Beef next time, as the chicken left me less than impressed (reason for the 3 stars). I will definitely visit again should I need a Pho fix! read more

Pho House - Medium sized Chicken Rice Noodle Soup - very generous serving. Bean sprouts and Basil were very fresh. - Vietnamese Near Me - Etobicoke, Ontario

I love Pho soups and this is an okay place. The Pho House is located in Etobicoke, close to Kipling subway station in Six Points Plaza, close to Shoppers Drug Mart. This place is very well decorated, looks bright and clean. The soups arrive very fast and are usually really good, but sometimes the chicken tastes like rubber and the soup is too salty. I usually choose chicken or veggie pho. Last time we took chicken/veggie soup.. but they charged extra $2 for veggies and there were only 2 little broccoli, 1 mushroom and 2 snow peas added. That was little dissapointing as other places gives you free veggies if you order half half and there are much more vegetables inside. But still its a good deal as large soup (can be shared for 2) costs only about $8. They have also some nice chicken/veggie/rice dishes but their curry was one of the worst. read more

I have been going to Pho house since my first year of university! After looking for the best place to have pho near kipling station i had decided to try this place out. I was so pleased with the cleanliness and service of this restaurant as most Pho places are not to par! Amazing food choices, great prices, decent service, and tastey food no matter what you try! I usually go for calamari, Pho Ga and deep fried bananas for dessert! Yum yum yum! read more

First time trying Pho so had my reservations about it. But really enjoyed what I tried at Pho house. Has the P6 With the well done and rare beef noodle soup. I actually wouldn't recommend this but to get the rare beef noodle soup instead. Getting well done beef doesn't make sense. The broth is so hot it ends up cooking the beef. So rare works best! This place is at a great location, just steps from Kipling Station and ten minute drive from the gardiner, QEW and highway 427. There should never be a problem to get here. After eating, may we suggest Starbucks for coffee since it's right beside the restaurant? There's lots of seating, the service is very efficient and fast. You usually never wait to get a seat even though it's busy in there. The kitchen is near the back, washroom's down the stairs, and the bar is by the kitchen. They have booths and tables along the walls with some tables in the middle. As an appetizer, we tried their Salad Wrap, which has pork, vermicelli noodles and lettuce wrapped in rice paper. Simply dip this in the Hoisin Sauce topped with peanuts. It's light, refreshing and delicious. The main dish - Pho (pronounced "fuh"). There's many variety of pho. They all have the same broth and noodles but you can choose what meat parts that you get. We like to get the simple noodles with rare beef slices (order number P5). Other pho-fenatics do go for tripes and tendons (how brave). The broth is very hearty and flavourful with chewy noodles. Add some hot sauce for those who like a little spiciness in their noodle soup. They sell the bowls here in a few different sizes: Small, Medium, Large and XLarge (not sure). Small is pretty small so I would suggest going for the Medium size as a meal. Next time you have a Pho craving, try this place! read more

I absolutely LOVED this place everytime I have been there; I have both taken out and dined in and never recieved bad service. The food was excellent; I am a huge fan of their Won Ton Soup... it's is a large portion and delicious and their cold rolls are some of the best I have EVER tasted!! I had the coconut curry chicken the lat time I was there and it was amazing served piping hot, fresh and fast. My boyfriend got (This is the name of the dish believe it or not!) Phucket chicken I think and he adored it as well! They make a mean cantonese chow mein, chicken/beef Ho Fun and a variety of Pho soups I find the decor simple but classy and spacious; I am not a big fan of being stacked like pancakes when I'm trying to eat! Looking from the outside in it seems much smaller but it offers a lot of space, the tables are large and the seating is quite comfortable. The menu here is excellently put together; large enough to offer a nice selection but not too big to confuse things. Precise and organized its easy to peruse your options while the staff is incredibly pleasant, knowledgable and more then willing to help. If you like Asian/Vietnamese cuisine served with a smile and lots of free parking then you should try this place and their Bubble Tea!! read more

Been here twice, first time wasn't bad but second time was pretty bad. My fiancé ordered the rice dish with grilled pork & chicken, he got the smallest portion of meats that barely filled his plate (nothing like their menu pics) and he was still hungry afterwards. I ordered the house pho and found a long piece of black curly hair and a small piece of plastic in mine. When I told the waiter he offered to replace it free of charge but I had pretty much lost my appetite at that point and they removed my dish from the bill without us having to ask which was nice. The waiters were good and definitely the highlight of my experience here but I don't think I'd come back. read more

Wanted something light and nourishing to soothe my upset tummy and got the wonton soup. It was perfect - a light, clear broth served piping hot with chives, green onions and chicken and shrimp wontons -$7. The portion was not extremely generous but definitely not small! Following that, I decided to try the steamed rice dish with grilled beef and fried egg, which also came with a nice little salad consisting of a few lettuce leaves, shredded carrot and (what I thought to be) cabbage -$8.50. The beef was perfectly marinated and grilled to perfection. There was also a lovely sour vinaigrette on the side. My friend got the basil Thai spicy noodle with chicken and it was great; you could see that they did not skimp on the meat which is always a plus. Although it was a little greasy, the flavour was bang on -$10.50. All in all, the venue was clean, fairly spacious, well-decorated and pleasant to all senses. The service was quick and attentive, the waitress spoke English quite well and the prices were very reasonable. Tipped in cash and made sure our waitress pocketed it as there was a post a few months back about owners keeping the tips? Not sure of the validity of that comment but I decided to play it safe. Also, a big thumbs up to the fact that this place is not in Mississauga or downtown Toronto, and is a 5 min drive from my home! I will definitely be coming back here and will recommend it to my friends in the area. read more

I was really looking forward to going to this restaurant. I had read positive reviews and saw this location featured as a place to go for great Vietnamese. The service was the only thing that lived up to the expectation. We ordered the calamari, crispy spring rolls, chicken vermicelli and the beef pho. We found the food to be very bland. Presentation was lovely but the lack of flavour with the entrees was really disappointed. We didn't even get through 1/4 of the meal. There was not enough hot sauce in the place to save the meal - we just gave up with it. Disappointed. We won't be back. read more

We have been coming here for Pho for years and always loved it until recently. First we noticed the quality of the chicken go down to being very tough and gristle-y. That got better when they started to offer a white meat option. But the now the last few times we ordered from there the chicken has been so undercooked we had to cook the chicken a second time before any of us could eat it. We love this place but we hope the quality goes back to what it used to be or we may need to look for a new local Pho restaurant read more

There aren't many good Pho places in the West end but Pho house is decent. They have a typical Thai/Vietnamese menu with a few Pho soups to choose from. When this place opened up last year, the Pho wasn't that great and had too much ginger. But they've since imrpoved the taste and it's quite good.
