We know each restaurant has different menu items, so we finally made the time to visit the Etobicoke location. This location is much bigger than the Junction location and just as beautiful! We were warmly greeted upon entering and casually mentioned that we were celebrating a special occasion (a birthday). The food was as tasty as it was beautifully presented. There was a small hiccup with my order (I ordered the Khao Soi with shrimp and got chicken), but the staff were so kind to fix that for us. It was full of flavor with a mix of great textures. Sam had the green curry with chicken and ordered rice on the side. The rice was definitely needed as it added more texture to the extremely smooth and creamy soup. There was a nice amount of chicken and veggies, too. The Thai milk tea was made to perfection here. Not too sweet, beautiful color, incredible and addictive flavor. One glass was not nearly enough, lol. The staff surprised our birthday girl with a cute little dessert, and that small effort made our girl's day. We will definitely be back here again!
After picking up my partner from the airport, we decided to go for a late lunch. Thai was our craving and I had been to this establishment previously so I had confidence that they won't disappoint. There were only a few people as it was 2:00 pm. We were greeted very promptly at the door and given a comfy booth. The service was excellent and the portions generous. The food didn't disappoint and was excellent as usual. They do have lunch specials and Monday's was a mango salad and green curry chicken. We added a chicken pad Thai. All excellent and our selections married well. We had to take a doggie bag and after filling the containers up, our server packed them in a plastic bag. Excellent as always. P.S. don't go during regular lunch or dinner hours without a reservation!

I even added their house chili oil for some extra kick and flavor. Service was exceptional and the staff are very attentive. They were great at helping us with explaining menu items and recommendations. Parking was a bit tricky and we parked underground that is attached to a condo. At first we thought parking was very limited at the front of the restaurant.
We went to Chang Mai Tuesday night for dinner. We were able to easily get reservations and were seated immediately upon arrival. Tuesday night was also half price wine, so we ordered a bottle of South African white for $20! The service was fantastic; our waitress was very sweet and attentive. The food was also delicious. We ordered the curry duck and shrimp pad kee mao and they did not disappoint. There is a bar at the front of the restaurant, with a large TV above it, and plenty of booths/seating around. Would recommend.
Well, I'm late to this party! I had a taste for Thai Food, & made last minute reservations on a pretty busy night. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with a friendly welcome. The staff was amazing...ALL of them. Food was terrific; Couldn't believe it took me this long to run upon this spot, hence to why I said I'm late to the party! I will definitely be back when visiting Toronto.
I love all the Chiang mais but some differences between the locations. Flavour-wise, every dish is delicious and on par with other locations. But in terms of portion, dishes seem to be a bit smaller here. I ordered the pad Thai and pineapple fried rice today and the pad Thai was about 1/2 filled and without beansprouts (another location always includes this) and the pineapple fried rice barely had any pineapples and was a tad undercooked. Overall still a good Chiang Mai location but not my favourite.
Chiang Mai is one of the trendy Thai spots in Toronto known for their modern take on Thai food. I've had the takeout here before but was excited to finally try dine-in. I came with a reservation already, so the table was already prepared in advance. Khao Soi (Shrimp): The curry was quite delicious and flavourful. Quite big portions than I expected. They were quite generous with the shrimp portions, so it was definitely worth it. The server was friendly and patient with our group. We had a great time here and was really accommodating. Highly recommend booking a reservation in advance as the restaurant was quite busy despite being a weekday night. There was live music during my visit too, which really added a fun ambiance.
I love Thai food. So I had to try out this popular place in town. We went to their location in Etobicoke and I have to say not just the food but I was impressed with their amazing service too! Keep in mind on busy days the wait time is at least 30 mins so reserving in advance is recommended. The decor is pretty with aesthetic flower decors like the one in the first picture that makes way for amazing insta worthy photos! Coming to food as always we ordered like crazy and tried nearly everything on the menu. Their drinks look amazing and tastes equally good. Try their lavender quencher if you want a mocktail! For appetizers we got their Thai shrimp rolls which were really good and I loved the sweet Thai chilli dip that came with most of the appetizers. We also tried their Thai Calamari, again, crispy and delicious! The only dish we didn't like were the chicken wings - this was really dry and lacked flavours with nearly no seasoning. For mains there were four of us so we ordered separately and got their Famous Pad Thai - came with nuts on the side, this is their most popular Pad Thai and I honestly thought this checked all the boxes. We got their Khao Soi which was enriched in the flavourful coconut curry sauce and this was like the most filling of all dishes. I tried their Pad See Ew because I love flat noodles and this too had the perfect balance of flavours and richness. We were hoping to try their mango sticky rice for dessert but unfortunately it got sold out so we tried their hot lava cake and coconut ice cream. I liked the coconut ice cream but not really a fan of the lava cake. The food was slightly more expensive than any other Thai restaurants but I think the ambiance and quality of service made up for it. If you love Thai food I'd recommend you to try out this place!
Just drove a 100km to get to Chaing Mai. No big deal. But the real question is: Will I do it again? HELL YEAH. This place has it all, the great ambience, to the great service, and of course, the great food. I ordered Basil Fried rice, Islamic noodles, Massaman curry beef, crispy chicken and sweet potato fritters. I love it all. The presentation was beautiful too. The flavour throughout the dishes were delicious. Next time I will definitely increase the spice levels on the dishes I order. I thought medium would be good but it was mild for me. Looking forward to my next visit.

Not what it used to be. Taste is still there, music, atmosphere is the same. Min orders are at least $30 a person to be sorta of full. We got Pad Thai and another seafood option. It was definitely good but the portions shrunk by 30%. Shrinkflation is real. The chcken satay is still the same size at least... Up to $14 from $12. Theres another location at liberty village, prices and portions are the same but definitely more romantic imo. Is it worth the commute? Ill let you decide.
The food was excellent and very fresh, the best Thai food in town. service is amazing, everyone is very attentive and quick to help out if needed. The ambiance is nice however it gets too loud sometimes with the music but otherwise a 10/10.

We got the calamari, chicken satay, and mango salad all were super good. The mains were okay - I enjoyed my curry but my friends said the khao soi was too thick and the noodles just soaked up all the soup the longer it sat. This was the most popular dish so im surprised its not that good. The cocktails were phenomenal- I wish I got the mojitos since they were all so good. I got the chiang mai select with less syrup but thought it was still too sweet.

Back again during a long layover in Toronto! Well worth the uber trip from the airport. They had a delicious mango sticky rice cocktail that was so good and boozy. I had it for dessert and left happy. read more

WOW. This was the first place I ate anything while visiting the area. I am from the US and have never had such an amazing curry dish before. The beef massaman curry was incredible. Very tasty and had such a unique flavor which reminded me of the fall season. I also had chicken Islamic noodles which were incredible. Service was great. I honestly wanted to eat there again before leaving! read more

The vibe was really nice and the food was good. However, the service was so fast that I felt like we were rushed a bit. It would have been nicer if we got a chance to relax while eating. Also the food was spicy so if you don't like spicy make sure you ask for not spicy. Overall, 4/5 read more

A good variety of authentic Thai food on the menu. Good ambience and cozy. All dishes were tasty and service was friendly and attentive. My two favourite dishes are the lemongrass soup with shrimp and the mango sticky rice. The soup is full of flavour and the shrimp is fresh and large in size. I almost want to order another one if we didn't already order more than we can finish. The mango sticky rice was a surprise as I am a big fan of an pandan flavour desserts. The mango is sweet and the rice is warm which is how it should be. I couldn't ask for a better way to finish our meal. Would definitely come back but it would be nice if they open a location in markham! read more
When you move to a new neighbourhood, you check out the Yelp reviews of the popular spots there, right? I do too. So if you're reading this thinking "Where can I find a new amazing Thai spot with fabulous food, pleasant staff, great service AND ability to customize for my dietary needs?"... Go to Chiang Mai. I routinely order here at least once a week, and we always have to customize two meals (one to vegan requirements). These guys get it right (almost!) every time. On the rare occasion they mess up, they're quick to replace the incorrect dish and offer something extra for next time. Be sure to download the loyalty app to save on future orders, and keep enjoying outstanding food. Also a great experience dining in, if you're into that these days. Fave dishes: Tofu Green Curry or Basil Stir Fry with Coconut Rice, Curry Pad Thai, and outstanding, pretty Mango Sticky Rice. Thank you, Chiang Mai for outstanding food and service! read more
I visited the other location, it was only fair I give this location a try as well. Ambiance: In terms of ambiance, no doubt it is very nicely decorated with soft lightning which really creates the mood, There are booths along the wall and smaller tables through out. They have a really nice flower wall at the entrance. Food: Panang Curry: my go to dish at any Thai place. This was great, I found the portions to be great and chicken to curry ratio to be adequate as well. Service: The service was quick, they checked up a few times through out our meals. Our server was well equipped to answer all the questions we had about the menu. Tips: Free parking located underground Reservations is recommended read more
The curries are great here, my go to is the massaman curry. Portions are generous. They have patio seating in the summer. The Tom yum pad Thai tastes like regular pad Thai, I don't taste any Tom yum at all. It's a pretty good spot if you're craving thai. read more
I visited this location a couple of times. Services is great. Crew is friendly. Ambiance is nice, sets the mood. Great place to go on for dates! We ordered vegetarian dishes and everything was tasty and fresh. Parking could be a bit tricky but we somehow got lucky both the times. Highly recommend this place to all my friends! read more

Incredibly busy on a Friday night. It took a good amount of time for the food to come out, but everything ordered was fantastic. Wanted to note that when driving it's easy to miss the entrance to the parking at the back of the restaurant so look out if you're not familiar with the area. read more

Delicious, delicious, DELICIOUS! Fast friendly service with a laid back but energetic atmosphere. Called before we arrived as we were headed there a bit late due to Black Friday shopping and they kindly informed us the kitchen was closing soon but we were still welcome to come. Our food and drinks were absolutely amazing, and our waitress was very sweet. The waitress kindly informed me the spring rolls were not vegan and instead suggested the fresh rolls, so grateful she was informed of this, as usually spring rolls are vegan. The fresh rolls were tasty and refreshing. My pineapple fried rice was the perfect mixture of heat and sweet as I ordered it hot. It was so filling I took some leftovers back to the hotel and enjoyed them on my ride back to the states. I frequent Toronto often and have been wanting to try this place for years, can't wait to be back! read more

Andrea is hands down the best manager. She's professional, attentive and welcoming. I've dined here alone for the first time and my experience was amazing and I felt safe and welcomed. They always greet you upon arrival warmly. The food is always flavorful and freshly made! I've been back with my friends and received the same amazing service. The ambience is family oriented but also makes for a cute date night spot. They sometimes have live music and the music is soothing yet upbeat. read more
