Unfortunately I didn't get to snap many pictures, but had a pleasant experience at this place. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but I assure you it is much nicer on the inside. Parking is a bit of a pain however. As for the restaurant itself, it was very clean and tidy inside. I was quite impressed with the attentiveness of the staff there and also how speedy the service was. We did not wait very long to get our food, however it was definitely still very fresh. Seems like it's run by a family. The food itself was very tasteful. You could tell it was actually authentic. The portions or just a tad small on some of the dishes in my opinion, for what they were priced at. But not too much of an issue. All in all, would definitely keep this in mind for future visits and for recommendations.

Split review - food 3 stars; decor and service +1star Someone in our group wanted Thai food, so trusty Yelp led us here. We ordered a few things to share communal style. The most delicious item was the mango curry. The plating looked pretty, too. It was rich in flavours, creamy, had a great texture and loaded with ingredients. If I return, this would be the one thing I would re-order. The appetizer platter was okay per the price. Out of the 2 desserts we ordered, the mango with sticky rice was the better one. Or specifically the sticky rice stood out; the mango was as good as it got for winter season. The interior was nice: clean, quiet, tasteful, with a few artsy pieces. It even smelt clean and crisp. The services was polite, welcoming, attentive, effective.

Interior looks recently renovated with skylights!

Parking: Paid parallel in front OR Green P right around the back of restaurant! In terms of authentic Thai, this is as good as it gets in the West-end! There's another VERY popular place more North in Mississauga, but having eaten there recently, I prefer this place. The other "popular" location's dishes are much, much sweeter. Menu is concise and clear, waitstaff were polite, and food came rather quickly after ordering. There was a complete page of curries - which do not come with rice. I ordered the Tamarind Curry as I've never seen it before on other menus. It was good! Instead of the white onion, I wished that there were some bamboo shoots in the dish. I wasn't able to eat the entire dish as although it looked like one portion, the curry sauce itself was a rather rich! I tasted the Pad Thai and noodles were nicely cooked, taste was spot-on! Average prices were in/around $15. Solid choice for the area!

Amazing! I can confidently say that this is my all time favourite place for Thai food. I've been here already twice and I'm still obsessed with this place. You definitely need to give this place a try if you're in the area! What I've tried and my thoughts on them: - Red curry - probably my favourite dish. I've ordered this twice so far and I absolutely love it. The curry sauce is the perfect consistency and spice level and it pairs so well with any of the meat options in my opinion. - Khao Soi - love. Very filling and has a good combination of textures. The crunchy wonton(?) noodles work well with the saucy rice noodles. - Pad thai - classic. The dish is very good here and is quite authentic. You can request to have the dish served in an egg omelette. - Mango curry - very unique but tasty. My friend ordered this and I tried some and was quite impressed with the taste. It's nothing too sweet - it has a good balance of sweetness and savoury. Get this if you want to try something different. They also have other sweet curries for those who are adventurous (pineapple, lychee) - Thai iced tea - so good! You can't not have one of these with your meal, trust me. - Mango sticky rice - another classic. Perfect for sharing with everyone. Most dishes do not come with rice, so you would have to order it separately on the side for a few dollars. They serve white jasmine rice and brown rice. All the dishes are served on really nice plates so be careful when handling them.

The BEST Thai place I've ever been to. I've never been to a Thai restaurant and thought, "Oh my god, I have to come back!", until this place. The pineapple fried rice is just the right amount of fragrant and savoury. The pad thai was the best I've had out of all the Thai places I've tried. Lastly, my lemongrass soup noodle was super satisfying, as the soup had plenty of lime and lemongrass flavour in it, to make it tangy and delightful. The Thai iced tea and Thai coffee were also delicious. The place is family run, and serves authentic Thai food. I can't recommend it enough.

This place is great! Perfect for a quick authentic thai dinner. We had the vegetarian pad thai and green curry with rice. Everything came hot and fresh. Service was amazing! Definitely recommend.

Known for their ramen (which we did not have as we had dinner previously, but we will definitely come back to try). Instead we feasted on small plates, Japanese poutine (which was not small but shareable), karage, matcha cheesecake and yatsuhashi. We got there after 9pm, at the time only one other table was occupied but it is only a 4 table shop so it is very quaint and personable. The Leafs game was on, a few Toronto team sports memorabilia donned the wall by the TV, a soccer jersey hung which gave it a bit more character ... I love the idea of being able to watch sports and snack on yummy delicious snacks. It is a great place to hang out and chat with friends, maybe even a date The dishes were great. We were happy, warm and full! On top of it all the chef had comr over to chat with us too, he introduced us to the yatsuhashi and we learned he has beem operating for 8 years. The name, Nobuya stands for his name and 'ya' means store. We cant wait to go back and try the ramen!

Outstanding food, amazing vibes, and top-tier service. The Lunch Lady might be legendary for lunch, but their dinner service completely shines with some seriously awesome, experimental approaches to Vietnamese food. Because we had a group of 13, I called weeks ahead to reserve their special dining booth to experience the full HAM CHƠI menu. This family-style prix fixe serves up their entire dinner menu at a massive, horseshoe-shaped table inside the private Rickshaw Room right next to the main dining room. The space is beautifully decked out in traditional Vietnamese decor, and it was the absolute perfect setup for a large crew to sit comfortably. The multi-course feast was spectacular across the board, but the absolute highlights of the night were the BÒ TÁI CHANH beef carpaccio with its fresh herbs and bright lime vinaigrette, and the legendary BÒ LÚC LẮC. That steak lúc lắc featured a perfectly cooked 8oz ribeye with peppercorn sauce, crispy cassava, burnt scallion butter, and a rich piece of seared foie gras that took it completely over the top. Everything else was just as impressive, from the crispy taro chips, chargrilled octopus skewers, and caramelized duck salad, to the tiger prawns, tamarind butter Manila clams with a Chinese donut, and a red crab fried rice loaded with XO sauce and fish roe. We wrapped things up with a phenomenal three-layer pandan and coconut ice cream dessert alongside a Vietnamese coffee tiramisu. The staff was incredibly accommodating and attentive throughout the entire night. The cocktails kept flowing and our table managed to try every single drink on the menu. A special shoutout goes to their Hennessy Cold Tea table service, which was served up in a really cool Hennessy teapot and came with a quick, awesome history lesson on how the drink got its name. Since we were celebrating my birthday, the servers also brought out the desserts with sparkler candles, which was a great touch. Between the vibrant atmosphere, the A+ service, and the phenomenal execution of the food, The Lunch Lady gave us the ultimate welcome to Toronto.

I always start with simple steamed option when trying a new momo place :) I was told that it would take up to 20 mins. From the appearance of the place, I expected that their service would be quicker, but I was OK with that, as making good momos takes time! In 20 mins, I picked up the momos which were packed in the pretty containers in a store special re-usable bag. The containers were very hot - excited...! However, unfortunately the momos were a bit disappointing. The wrappers looked machine pleated - although they were prepared carefully with no leak, I expect handmade for momos. The wrappers lacked chewiness and taste. The meat inside, especially the beef ones had a cheep meatball texture - felt like a paste product, without meaty flavor. The seasoning was good, and chicken had more meatiness though. They had plenty of soup inside, but I felt that the soup is not natural soup coming from the meat inside. The soup and the meat do not integrate each other in the mouth. The price was quite reasonable. 10pcs for $9.99 is actually very good. An interesting business model, but the momos were just OK for me. Their menu is extensive (momos, vegetarian, noodles and rice dishes and more). It must be good place for locals to try different food at reasonable price. No wonder they have a constant stream of customers in and out in the 20 mins span even in the mid afternoon.

I personally like the chicken momos the most! Get them extra spicy for a good kick. Its definitely a pricey meal compared to plain momos but the specialty momos are individually prepared and heavier as a meal. Other favourites are the malai sauce, as its a creamier white sauce! The chilli fries are very good and can pack serious heat if you get them spicy.
