My first farmers market visit of the year! Got lots of lovely fresh produce such as:…read moreVeg: - eggplant, zucchini, cucumbers, tomatoes, green beans Fruit: - cherries, peaches, golden plums And much more seasonal produce. I love to support local farmers who work hard to provide us with these tasty and Ontario grown fruits and veg! The location is perfect as it is a short distance from square one in central mississauga. Can't wait to go back.

Oooooh-Emmmmm-Geeeeee!!! Sooooooo happy is me!…read more On my way home from work this morning I stopped by the market and now I'm absolutely on a sensory high!!! Some of the stands aren't actually from farms (from what I hear) but just people that buy large quantities of produce and go to market to sell it. I didn't buy anything from those guys. I DID, however, buy from a bunch of different families/farmers. It was so wicked cool! I was really overwhelmed by the size of the setup and the number of stands. I most appreciated the guys that offered samples of their fruits and veggies. In fact, I wound up just saying "yes" to buying everything they fed me as I took each euphoric bite. I'm not gonna lie... not all of the vendors are very friendly. I actually felt that the majority were not so. That was a bit of a letdown. But I spent enough time passing through the lanes and chatting with a handful of people that I still had a warm and welcoming experience. The market is open Friday and Sunday from about 7 or 8 am until about 4 or whenever they pack up and will run to October. I know where I will be doing my shopping for the next couple of months!

Most importantly the staff and the owner are super cranky and legit angry. Even the dude manning the gate was a dick. They literally have security busting people for sampling apples. Want a hay ride? Gotta pay. If you want the public to pick Apples at least pretend to want them there. Can't wait to enjoy each $10 dollar Apple. Do yourself a favour and hit up a grocery store instead.

A bigger bucket of almost 40 lb cost $25 at the farmers market in Mississauga!!! There's nothing to do at this stupid farm expect picking apples or pumpkin. No rides (even though there's a big sign for hay rides) So you pick your own apples then pay triple the price of the super market and 5-6 times the price of the farmers market. To be honest they're good apples but not at all better than the farmers market! Never again! Very badly run and will be out of business very soon for sure! P.s. The kids saw a dead rat (No big deal in a farm I guess) but they were so disgusted by it so they couldn't eat apples! Not that they were even allowed to eat any apples while picking! Where's the fun of picking apples if the kids can't even eat as they pick and there was more apples on the ground than on the trees!!! Visit on Saturday October 29 2016

I've been buying this olive oil for a long time and never had a problem before. I even recommended…read moreit to others. But recently, I bought a bottle, and when I used it in my cooking, the food came out tasting awful. I tasted the oil on its own and realized it had a strange, old, off taste -- something clearly wasn't right. It might've been expired or gone bad somehow, even though I had just bought it from the store. So I did what any reasonable customer would do -- I called the number listed on the bottle: Pristine Promotions Ltd. in Toronto (416‑259‑3737). What happened next was extremely disappointing. Instead of listening to my concern, the man who answered immediately got defensive, started talking over me, and insisted his product is "number one" and that they "never have problems." He wouldn't let me explain my issue. I told him I live in London, Ontario, and I asked if there was a way to send the bottle back -- maybe a shipping label or return option, since it was clearly defective. But he refused. He was rude, aggressive, and unprofessional, saying it wasn't his problem and that I'd have to drive it back to Toronto myself. When I calmly said this isn't good customer service and that I might leave a review, he mocked me and said: "Go ahead. Leave whatever review you want." This is not how a food company should treat a loyal customer who simply received a bad product and tried to handle it respectfully. Businesses that stand behind their products know how to handle issues with basic courtesy, responsibility, and respect. Sadly, this was the opposite. I won't be buying from them again, not because of the olive oil -- but because of how they chose to handle a real concern. That tells me everything I need to know.
