If you dont eat much, get the kids size $7- one base one veggie and one protein. And you are able to add anything from $1-2. I got the Four size which is 2 bases instead. And Six is even more. I like everything ive got and i wanted to try all the other ones I didn't get. The ingredients taste very fresh. Gotta get the coconut siracha cauliflower. And if you like clear noodle like I do, get the sweet potato noodle as your base ( it doesnt taste like sweet potato but it's amazing!) Can I give this place 5 stars x2 and make it 10? Holy cow it was good! It's set up like a chipotle, so you walk through the line and add things to your bowl. I chose a base of greens and mashed potatoes, then topped it with roasted mushrooms and broccoli, as well as tofu and guac. I got the large bowl and it kept me full from lunch through the rest of the day. Those who got the smaller bowl looked to be about half the size of mine. Note that guac and pico cost extra to add. The staff was kind and efficient, getting our food together quickly. The food was served hot and fresh, which isn't always the case at these assembly line style restaurants. I thought the price was fair (mine came out to about $13). My sister said her lemon salmon was among the best she had ever had. I'd come back here in a heartbeat! read more

Came here the other night after every other food place was closed and I am so glad that I stumbled across this gem. Fresh Kitchen is a Gluten-free heaven!! What I loved most about my bowl was the coconut ginger rice. The rice was so fluffy and paired really well with the curried chickpeas which were bursting with so much flavor. I also tried potato noodles for the first time and they tasted just like regular noodles. I got the BBQ chicken mixed with another chicken option after the waitress recommended. Both of the chicken flavors were tasty and fulfilling. Overall I am very satisfied with my Fresh Kitchen experience. It's nice when they have new selections as this place can become very repetitive with its offerings. For $10, the 6 bowl can become two very filling meals (for me). I fell in love with this place from the moment it opened up in the area :) The good thing about this location is that it has slightly more parking than the location on Howard ... but the area also brings in a lot of people at all times of the day. The food is amazing! I normally get a six bow which gives you the options of to bases, one protein, and one veggie with the sauce of your choice. There are multiple add ons also but I normally don't ( I'm pretty simple ) lol The staff is always super friendly and they will allow you to try things if you want to taste it first. Plenty of people at work rave about Fresh Kitchen, so I've given it several tries. My problem with the place is its lack of consistency. I've ordered the same items three times now, but while the first time was fantastic, my second two meals left a lot to be desired. My coworker picked up my meal for me the first time I tried this place. I ordered the sweet potato noodles, the cauliflower mash, the chick peas, and the almond chicken. However, she called me and told me they were out of chick peas, and said I had to choose quickly because there was a line behind her. So I hurriedly said the sweet potatoes, knowing full well I already had the noodles and the mash there -- but I was under pressure. Well it turns out I didn't like the noodles at all, but the sweet potatoes were the best thing I had from that bowl. All in all I was fairly impressed: the mash had a good consistency that didn't scream cauliflower, the chicken was good, and the sweet potatoes were honestly fantastic. I told my coworker we could totally order from here again. However, I drove to Fresh Kitchen the next time and ordered pretty much the same foods, this time getting the chick peas instead of the noodles. But the sweet potatoes were underdone, the mash had HUGE chunks of cauliflower in it and was much more bland than before, and the chicken tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. My third visit ended up being much like the second. I'm going to give it another shot and hope for the quality I got from the first meal I had here -- but I know it'll be a gamble. read more

The line was out the door...not a good situation to be in when I'm hangry! This place is very popular - get here early on a weekday or else you may not be able to snag a table! The STEAK 4.5/5 was perfect with a good sear - lightly seasoned with salt & pepper and def. worth the upcharge. The BUFFALO CHICKEN 3/5 was disappointing - tough! I think they precook large batches of it & it sits in the stainless bowl continuing to cook...My counterpart got their baked almond chicken - def. looked amazing! The sweet potato noodles & kale slaw are my definite fav. - the seasame green beans and parmesan broccoli were tasty. The veggies are consistently delish; I could always go for seconds even after selecting a bowl of 6 (I had an extra big appetite that day!). The creamy white ginger was the bomb! VALUE & SERVING SIZE (3.5/5 or $$/$$$$) is portioned out, but seems on the smaller side because I was still hungry & my total was about $15 including a drink. A coworker from Tampa recommended it, and when they did, they listed at least ten must-have items. With a recommendation that serious, how could you not try it?! First, the set-up is truly efficient. You walk in and signs tell you where you stand in terms of wait time before you make it to the Chipotle-style assembly line. (The line moves super quick, do not let it deter you.) I got the sweet potato noodles, despite not loving sweet potatoes, and am absolutely glad I did. The brussel sprouts were delicious, and the steak was tasty as well. Bowls have been the next big thing in food for the last couple of years, but I've gotten into that party a little late. That being said though, it was first love when eating at Fresh Kitchen which I have heard nothing but good things about. I gave them a try during the height of the pandemic when i had to use Doordash to get my food. All the food there was definitely fresh and top quality. Usually I don't do bowls because I'm not into rice or quinoa and I'm not always in the mood for pasta. Luckily with FK i can customize and control the carb and starch content as well as increase my veggie count. My normal go-to is their four bowl, because it's just the right size for me. Recently, i've discovered that I really love sweet potato noodles, so I go with that and kale slaw as my two bases. For veggies, I do mushrooms (scientifically, did you know that mushrooms and chicken go well together??) and citrus chicken. Today, they were out of the citrus chicken, so went with their baked almond chicken. So glad I did, because the tasty crunch really added another dimension of texture that complimented the flavor. I love to top it all with their delicious creamy white ginger sauce for a cool, mild finish. The customer service here is on point, even when the whole place was jumping with activity and so packed with customers that the line was going out the door. I ordered a 6 bowl that comes with 2 protein, 2 bases, 2 veggies and one sauce. It was incredibly easy to be in line with my no sugar added diet here because everything is fresh and healthy. The sweet potato noodles were a weird texture, but they provided a nice base for the yummy mushrooms and green beans that I put on top of them. There is a great selection of protein, no matter what your preference. I got the creamy white ginger sauce that was light and added just a little bit of zip to the meal. Can you please come to AZ? My favorite bowls typically include the grilled steak and sweet potato noodles minimum as a staple with the white ginger sauce. The other options are equally delicious, fresh and very flavorful. There are many healthy options of drink available. For example, They have usually three different fresh juice/tea fountain drink choices or the bottled fresh juice options. They also have bottled ginger shots. I've been to both this and the South Howard Avenue location. So far to me, this is The busier of the two from my experience. My favorite sauce to use here is the holy kale sauce. It's so good! This location has very comfy indoor seating. They have a decent sized, but parking lot in the back. Went with my girlfriend for some post international plaza lunch. Atmosphere and setup are chipotle like, as is the pricing. I went for the six scoop: two scoops of base, veggie, and protein. You have to pay for salsa and guacamole here which sucks. I also got the sirracha coconut sauce on top. For base I went quinoa and spinach. For veggie, I went broccoli and garbanzo beans. For protein, I went almond baked chicken and bbq chicken. I got the corn and black bean salsa which cost extra. The almond baked chicken is SO good, next time I'll get just two scoops of that for sure. For about $10.50, the amount of food I got was pretty solid. It was really healthy and flavorful. I wouldn't normally eat quinoa, broccoli and chickpeas on the same plate, but for some reason it just works here, throwing everything together. Definitely will be back! read more

I have several menu favorites at Fresh Kitchen. The cauliflower mashed potatoes, kale slaw, and sweet potato noodles are some of my favorite bases... actually all of the bases are great! My baby boy loves the cauliflower mashed potatoes too! I have yet to find a roasted vegetable that I don't love. The parmesan broccoli, green beans and Brussels sprouts never disappoint! The sauces are mind blowing good. If I could only figure out what is in the holy kale sauce! I could drizzle that sauce on everything!!! The only criticism I have is that the steak is chewy and the chicken is often overcooked or dried out. I can usually overlook this detail by dunking the meat in extra sauce! read more

The line typically moves pretty quickly. I have tried a few different combinations here and I can't say that I've hated anything. The sautéed mushrooms are like crack and the blackened chicken never fails. The food here is so flavorful that I barely have to touch any of the amazing sauces. The people working here are always so nice and have a positive attitude. At around $10 for a six bowl, I typically get 1.5 to 2 meals. You walk in (usually there's a line, but it moves quickly), it's cafeteria style so you walk down the line and pick what you want. I always do the largest bowl (2 bases, 2 veggies, 2 protein). Some of their choices do change based on the season. The noodles and cauliflower mash are my favorite bases. The Parmesan broccoli and mushrooms are my favorite veggies. The baked almond chicken and steak are my favorite proteins. They have tons of options though.
