Pretty good experience overall. After eating here for three days, lunch and dinner, the breakfast. Nice people too. The only issue would be the outrageous juice prices. read more

First time visit and had no idea what to eat or what anything was but I ended up with some sort of noodles, chicken, sweet potatoes, rice, avocado and sauce all which was very good. It's not really expensive considering it's natural and healthy ingredients. I would definitely go back and try another bowl. read more

Pros: Sweet potato noodles FTW! All sauces are good. BBQ chicken is the best meat. Cons: AllJuices are pricey, and the rice is mediocre. read more

Perfect quick stop for lunch. Like a gourmet Chipotle with roasted parmesan broccoli, perfectly roasted mushrooms, and more. At $9-10 a bowl, it's a great find for high nutrition and taste. Speedy, nutritious, delicious- it's fab! read more

We visit this place regularly. My husband LOVES it. They have great healthy options. If you like Chipotle style eating but want better options, this place is for you. read more

Price can be cheaper for type of quick food. Food is good and healthy good combinations.

Sooo flavorful and healthy and fresh!! Obsessed. Cauliflower mash is great. Loved the citrus chicken too!!

I work pretty close to Fresh Kitchen, so I've been here a number of times and it was one of my favorite lunch spots. Their sweet potato noodles are amazing. I actually don't like sweet potatoes at all, but these I could eat all day long! All the food that I've had here has been fantastic. I especially love the poke that you can add for extra $ but it's worth it. Do yourself a favor and stop in here, you can't go wrong with any of their choices! read more

Phenomenal fresh tasting food with delicious flavor bursts! We ordered the salmon, chick peas, kale salad, tomatoes, and spicy rice. Everything tasted great! read more

My go-to place for a quick fix and healthy dinner. I always do the 4 bowls with steaks (extra price). Everything has always been so fresh but the chicken do get really dried out sometimes so I just opt for the steak instead. The location is so convenient, and this place is clean and nicely decorated... We come the minimum of twice a week for the past few months now and I'm yet to be get sick of the foods read more

Fresh, fast, and healthy. Sesame chicken, broccoli, and brown rice bowl is delicious. There's endless options of what you can eat here as well as free drink refills. The fruity lemonades they serve are natural with no sugar added and are still sweet and summery. Great atmosphere! Will come back whenever I get a chance. 100% Recommended! read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE!! So great to have a place that caters to healthy, natural and organic food!! Food as it should be. Healthy carb options, excellent veggie options and delicious proteins! If you like healthy food this is your place!! Absolutely love the jalapeño sauce it is the perfect roping to any bowl! The the cucumber tea drink is phenomenal and so refreshing. For desert make sure to get a pack of the paleo chocolate chip cookies, super yummy!! Service is fantastic and the staff is extremely attentive!!! Thank you for opening one of these near me!! Been a fan for a while! read more

Love the concept of this place! Healthy fast food! There is no drive thru which Would make it truly fast food. It's set up "Subway" style with a class walk way you can look at the food choices and choose what you want to go in your bowl. They let you sample which is a plus in my book especially since they offer different options than most restaurants like "sweet potato noodles" which are the best thing ever! Get them! You can also try the various sauces! Hard decision because they are delicious! They also offer fresh juices and teas. Everything I've had is amazing and wish there were most locations! read more

People love love love this place. I do not get it. At all. I liked the energy, the idea, the people, and the concept. But the food was dry and lifeless. The tiny smudge of sauce -- really? I don't get it. But it is well love by so many. I'd like more sauce and moist chicken. read more

Finally decided to try this place and I'm not disappointed. I walked in knowing nothing about how to order, and the employees were all so helpful. I loooooved everything in my bowl. The sweet potatoes and blackened chicken were my favorite. Price range is about $8-$14, but it all was fresh and flavorful. I will definitely be back to mix it up. read more

I used to frequent this place when it first opened. Less now due to location convenience. Venture there today. Food is good, and also healthy; however, service was horrible! As they serve you, there are 4 different people that provide service as they pass your bowl down the line. The first 2 were flat out "service rude" (not personal, just horrible service skills). Looked at you (I observed the same demeanor with others) as if you're wasting their time. When asking a question about the menu, you're treated as if you're bothering them or you should have known. None of the four smiled, none acted as if you were a customer with a choice of where to eat. The cashier acted bothered when I asked for a top to cover the sauce. Just no customer service skills by anyone. Need training. read more

This place is absolutely amazing. The food is consistently good, and the staff is so nice. I'm a vegetarian, and they have plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans. They're 100% worth the money. read more

I'd love for this to be my favorite healthy lunch spot, but sadly it often leaves me disappointed. The problem is inconsistency with the food quality and (especially) the portion size. For example, today the citrus chicken serving was approximately 8 small chunks of meat and a portion of it was significantly charred. The person behind me ordered the baked chicken and received 3 nice sized chicken tenders - at least 3x the amount of my serving. If I pay almost $9 for lunch (for a 4 bowl), I don't feel like I should still be hungry when I'm finished. On a positive note, the food is usually quiet tasty. It's just a little too expensive for the inconsistent portion sizes. read more

Fresh Kitchen - A small portion of charred citrus chicken - disappointing. - New American Near Me - Sarasota, Florida

The food is overpriced garbage. Do not waste your money on this place and save your taste buds for something that is actually good. If your going to eat you mind as well enjoy what your eating. If I could give this place zero stars I would. read more

This was soooo good I don't believe it's real...so give us your nutritional information so we can come here more often and with confidence!!

The bases and chicken were good but it didn't seem like i got much chicken. Also whats with the plastic containers, with a place that portrays a modern healthy atmosphere it seems like they could use some recycled containers. read more

SO EXCITED!!!! I LOVE Fresh Kitchen. I am constantly visiting it when I am in South Tampa and I am so happy they finally expanded into SRQ!! The staff is fantastic and the space is wonderful. I love having a healthy option for lunch when I am working in that area. You definitely want to check out Fresh Kitchen ASAP! Must try...coconut sriracha sauce and the cucumber tea drink. The kale salad and brussel sprouts are my favorite!!! CHECK IT OUT!!! read more

This place is awesome. Fresh fresh fresh food that is healthy and the prices are decent. The staff is super hip and young and the atmosphere is cool. Highly recommended. read more

With many food allergies this is just about the only place I can eat out at these days and there is No complaint from me! It is AMAZING! My husband and I go almost daily and always get the baked chicken! I LOVE the green beans, sweet potatoes all of the rices- you just can't go wrong! Holy Kale is the the most fantastic sauce ever! Fingers are crossed that the Braised Beans come back soon as I Do So miss them!! The staff is always super nice and it has become like a Cheers place for us as we are known for being there daily! :) Heading there in a few minutes actually!! read more

Kept driving by this place & finally stopped in. We ordered a 4 bowl & 6 bowl. The 4 bowl was the perfect amount. The tofu was the perfect amount & tasted great. Loved the broccoli, tofu, & creamy ginger sauce! I would have ordered extra sauce just for the taste but it's really not necessary. Super happy I did add the avocado though! My boyfriend couldn't finish the 6 bowl & needed to bring some home. He said the chicken was good & liked the roasted sweet potatoes. We definitely put this place on our list to visit again when we are out shopping! read more

I loved it here! I'm visiting from Los Angeles and I was craving something really fresh. Being gluten free, this place was such a blessing! The food is so flavorful and delicious. The employees we so great and took their time letting us try the food. Wish we had a fresh kitchen in LA read more

The menu is complicated and the staff is intolerant. The vegetables are overcooked and chewey. Overall bad taste and poor quality including grisley meat. read more

Super yummy and healthy. Staff is very kind and helpful. Such a delicious no guilt fast food option. Definitely a bit pricey but so worth it. Not typical fast food. Great to see families and young kids making healthy food choices. read more

Literally one of the only healthy options in the whole entire county that's delicious and fast moving and isn't a sit down restaurant with a waiter. I get the bowl with 1 base 1 veggie and 1 protein and it fills me up. I don't feel like crap after eating here like I would at most places. The dressings are amazing too. Ginger one and balsamic one are my favorites. My only complaint is that they don't put one of these restaurants further south in Port Charlotte or North Port or Punta Gorda where I live. Sad to see they are only spreading to other rich people cities :( read more

This place is awesome! Quick, healthy, fresh, a good price and you get a ton of food! Tasty

This store is right next door to my last project. I have eaten here quite a few times just for that fact. Being on a real time crunch sometimes you just have to. This place really gets swamped for lunch for some reason. It really tries to work the fresh and heathy movement going on right now. To me they really miss the mark. The food is very bland not even salt n pepper which is a staple of cooking in my eyes. You start with a choice of bowls sizes. Then you move on to the bases which are go from rice to lettuce or even a cauliflower n potato mash. Then you move to veggies with under cooked veg. Maybe that's why they are on warming plates in hope that they will finish cooking. I always went for mushrooms (it's my go to) but as normal they were under cooked and under seasoned as well as maybe luke warm. Then you move down the line to your proteins which again are way under seasoned. I normally go for the steak cause I'm a meat kind of guy. Ok course it is an up charge of 1.50. Now you have to wait for them to cook it. Thank god something is hot but this takes about 10-12 minutes. I build restaurants I time ticket times. So after all is done I'm out the door with a 12-15 bill and I go and choke it down and get back to work. All I can say is I'm glad I'm back in Jax. read more

Props for trying to be a healthy concept but confusing and not executed well your first time in, way overpriced for the little amount you get. Also everything was cold, as in it was meant to be cold- but I don't want to eat my quinoa, tofu (or other meat option) and veggies ice cold read more

I understand and appreciate the concept...fresh, gluten free, hormone free, etc. That being said, I think the execution fell short. Maybe attribute this to the newness of the restaurant? The operator's other establishments, Daily Eats and Cicco Cali, are some of my favorite restaurants. This is a build your own type place, similar to Chipotle. There was no one in the restaurant and I was rushed through the line, or lack ther of, to make my choices. The cashier was asking me if I wanted a drink while I was still telling the other employee what sauce I wanted. I also think it's a little ridiculous to have to pay extra for salsa. In my opinion, the food really didn't have much flavor, even with the sauce included. I also asked for my food to eat in, but was given a Togo box. Not a big deal, but just another negative. No smiles from employees and no thank you from the cashier. There were a lot of employees, but they were mainly concerned with their conversations with each other. Two stars for concept and mainly because I love Cicco Cali. read more

Always amazing!! As a celiac it is so nice to go somewhere and not be scared to eat!! The food is always fresh, tastes amazing and the people are always friendly! I'm never disappointed! read more

Staff was very helpful to us, a large group that had not dined here before. It's a great place for a large party because each person goes through the line, orders, and pays separately. Prices are very reasonable. There was plenty of seating on a Saturday evening. The concept of tossing several items into a bowl isn't my idea of fine dining. I found most of the items void of much flavor. It is however a convenient, cost efficient venue that is considered a "healthy" option. read more

As for food, vegetables are good and uncommon for fast food restaurants but meat portions were very small and upcharge for steak was quite expensive for the small serving. Tap water is warm. Employees wear shirts "Don't FK With Me" which they evidently think is clever but not something I'd prefer not to explain to my children. Poor customer service. Refused to put bases into a separate bowl. I pointed out I had 2 toddlers to feed so I needed that to feed them. Refused. Owner emphasized that it is a problem when things get busy even though he admitted the place not busy then and not clear how difficult that is, considering any other restaurant would gladly accommodate such a basic request. read more

I had lunch at Fresh Kitchen on opening day. As soon as we walked in a staff member greeted us and explained how to order. I had a tofu bowl and my Mom had a baked chicken bowl. I loved how everything on the menu is customizable and healthy! Even the rice crispy dessert was delicious and low calorie! I highly recommend any of the Ciccio's group restaurants.
